Journey, Not A Destination

try out - you never know what could happen...

and if you make the cut (no reason why you wouldn't) then you can decide if you really want to do it or not...

Besides, I'ms ure the admins on this site would LOOOOVE to have an actual television star on their roster - especially one that can walk and talk and ya know give good advice :)

Bah... he just thinks its good advice. In truth, its awful. :coolgleamA:

shhhh -

he's got a very fragile ego - and very low self esteem - he needs lots of encouragement otherwise he'll just sit in the corner, eating bonbons and well - porking up :)

Can't have that...

We must tell him that he does good here...

he people who lived in these buildings were going nuts b/c they couldn't do a damn thing but watch their lives melt away.

Steve, I know what you mean. Many San Diego county residents watched as this happened to their homes in both 2003 and 2007. Nearly 2500 homes were lost in the 2003 wildfires and 1500 were lost in the widfire of 2007. It is terrifying to watch a fire ravage neighborhoods and homeowners can only helplessly stand by and watch. The devastation of neighborhoods was like something out of a movie...unimaginable that fire driven by wind was able to sweep across such a vast amount of land in such a short time. (My boss lost his home in the last one. They were able to gather several boxes belongings as they fled in the middle of the night.)

That's my point. I talk out of my ass enough as is, lol. :p

Imagine how it would look coming from a gladiator.

It would be borderline scammish.

More people would probably listen to me..... but it goes against what I'm about.

you wouldn't be a gladiator though.. you'd be a contestant on the show beating on teh gladiators.. there's a difference.. :D

besides - you in spandex would be fun to see :)

So scary.

At the very least all pictures should be saved digitally on a server away from home and invest in a fireproof safe.

Haha, I think it would be fun to do. That's why it's not entirely ruled out. I just have to see what's going. I'm busy as hell right now.... every weekend counts. I want my site up in the next 2-3 months and weekends is all we have. I'd rather have my site up than be on some low rate tv show.

Oh fine - be that way....

Season 3 it is then...

I'll just use my overactive imagination and do the spandex there :)

Quote of the day

"Everyone has a story. And as I continue to write my own, I recognize that there are moments and events that will affect the direction my story may go. Some things we cannot control. Some moments we cannot take back. But how we react, how we recover, what we do with the cards we are dealt is what really matters. In the end, we must choose to push forward. Everyone has a story. They are what make us individual. And they are what connect us all."

I actually wrote something earilily similar to that a couple of years back. This was actually said by a professional skate boarder, believe it or not. He's a guy I really connect with and I've had some email contact with. His name is Mike Vallely.

He's known for most for being the 'brawler' of skate boarding.

But he's much more than some scrappy guy. He's deep. And he loves what he does. Operates entirely out of passion and that's what I relate to.

If you type in Mike Vallely Drive in youtube, you'll see his best work. Drive is a compilation of films depicting his journeys around the world.

doesnt matter what that passion is - if it drives a person - that's very cool :D

I love seeing people who really love what they do... it just makes whatever it is more interesting...
