I dunno why.. I guess drastic changes to our appearence we are suppost to redo our drivers liceanse pic and passport. Maybe its how they secretly tke a cencus of how overweight our countries are!!  It makes sense!! How else would they know how overweight the country is???

And hyour doing wonderful Bronski... tuna burgers sound delicious :D I wish I wasen't so lazy.. but I hate jsut cooking for myself!!!

Hello there everyone. Just wanted to let you all know that I won't be participating in the FSD anymore...at least for right now. It makes me anxious throughout the week and I'm not to the point where I can push that aside. It's been great here and I know that most of you are in the Going Down Together Club as well..so I will likely see you all over there! Happy losing!

I'm sorry to hear that Avi, but I totally understand. It is only worth doing things that have a positive effect on you, it shouldn't be added stress. And we can still hang out at the Going Down Together club. ;)

*glomps ava* tis ok girl. :) Only thing that saves me is I get Thursday off from work.. and use it as my "get back on the bandwagon and exercise like hell' day :D *snuggles random ppls* :)

Avi, now you have to admit, that is a big leap in your ticker!! Well done ;) Gosh, I wish days off were like that for me, I actually find them a lot harder as there are more hours doing nothing to be tempted with food, and I find it really hard getting motivated to exercise.

yup... I love crunches. I also did a 1/2 hr of weight lifting. I do the crunches while listening to my friend babble on, on voice chat over skype :) Just lay beside the computer and go 1..2...3..4..5..6..7.. etc :)

I feel sick today, getting a throat infection again. I'm not happy with this... I have my next 2 weeks booked solid with volunteering and dentists and on top of that, I am going to be typing up a manuscript for a guy. So I DONT NEED THIS!!! And I wanted to go skating today. Which I still might do, after checking all my emails and such I plan to go home and nap for a couple of hours and take some anti-biotics. Then I have a 3:00 pm meeting with the manuscript guy, and then... I could go skating after that. :)

Ohhh.. me tired. o.o working on 5 hrs of sleep. bad me :(

try taking some zinc and extra vitamin c - and see if you can head the infection off before it takes over... and get rest where you can.. take care of yourself :)

Eggs are good for colds and such, a great source of zinc.

ava, I'm sorry you're not joining us anymore. We'll miss you *hugs*

OK everyone, today was the real tester; seaside trip, big, soggy, greasy chip-shop chips, ice cream, doughy-donuts... and I didn't touch a single one! I was pretty lucky I guess, my friend opted out of fish and chips, and so we travelled along the pier for other alternatives. We stopped at this one place, and there wasn't much choice. I was about to go and buy some chicken nuggets (which seemed the best choice) when out of the corner of my eye I saw a sign for soup and roll! I immediantly changed tack, got a tomato and basil cup-a-soup and bread roll.

Normally, I would have ditched the bread roll, but cup-a-soups are bit thin. I didn't get any chips, passed on the ice cream, and thankfully no one wanted donuts! The "sugar" front was also great! Normally there are bags of chocolate buttons and all sorts, and we all pig in. Instead, I just had 2 tic tacs (2 kcals a piece) a sugar free lolly pop (30 kcals a piece) and a sugar free boiled sweet (anywhere up to 15 kcals)... then cereal for the other meals!

Feeling a little better about tomorrow, but I don't want to get my hopes up too high. We'll see what happens. I'm having tea early, nothing else after this, an early night, maybe... then perhaps the scales shall be kind.

Hope you guys have a wonderful evening, and if I don't speak to you before, good luck for tomorrow.

TGIF dudes!

Bronsk

I've said it elsewhere, but dang it, I'm going to say it again. Way to go, Bronsk!!!:D

Good luck for tomorrow everyone. If I can get my butt out of bed early enough, I will post at 4am tomorrow (UK time), but we shall see ....

Thanks Mrs B :D

And I meant to say this last time, but Well Done Avi on those crunches! You're flying through them, that teddy should be wearing speed goggles!

Once again, best of luck, all!

Bronsk

I wanna join!!! It's one of my daily/weekly goals to stay away from that scale until fridays....can't wait till tomorrow morning!

I'm out, too - but it is a good thing! I'll explain... Most of you know, I spent my first 28 days of losing weight strictly avoiding the scale. I had major issues with beating myself up emotionally, and I did not think I could handle the fluctuations.

I have found over the last couple of months that the fluctuations do not bother me anymore. I know that I am sticking to my calorie goal, and I know I am exercising, so I know that the weight is coming off. Days where the scale shows a gain don't bother me at all anymore, because I know I am on track and the gain must be water retention.

Anyway, I see this as some really big personal growth, and a true victory over one of my weight loss hurdles. I appreciate the help that this club has been along the way, and I wish you guys the best, and I think this club is a great deal! Good luck everyone!!! See you around the forum. :D

Well it's a no loss for me this week, :( still at 153 lbs. Abit disappointing but I won't give up. Next week I have ovulation discomfort and bloating to look forward to, but maybe it won't be that bad. Hope everyone does better than me....and that will keep me motivated too. :D

Welcome Kallie!!

OMG Bronski you are funny!! :D *huggles speed goggle wearing teddy* At first I wasen't sure if you where referring to a teddy.. or a 'teddy' (like what a girl might wear in sexy situations) hehehe. But I think I figured it out. I really really doubt I lost any weight.

And I forgot to buy vit C.
And I am exausted so sleeping in as much as possible tomorrow.

I am on a massive, massive high!

Last night I sat up and talked to my dad until 3 AM! Those who know me know that I have never talked to my parents about my personal problems. But last night I told my dad something very important; will leave details in blog.

This morning, I remember the good feelings last night, and come down to a letter... from my university... containing... *results*! Again, details in blog, but needless to say I passed :)

But for everywhere in the whole wide world... I've lost a very bit amount... like 2kgs big  That's 4.6 lbs!! I was so shocked when the scales first said I was 90.0 I hopped off and hopped back on again 3 times. Again, I settled with the middle number (the highest was 90.6)

:D:D:D:D I am a very, very happy panda!

I 've got the team challenge, but Ididin't want to abandon the FSD - let's see-this is wacky... 1.5 pounds since Monday - but a total of 4.5 pounds for the week...

I must say, I am really really disappointed in the 1.5 pounds - I busted my butt being good and no cheating at all this week... but the scale is going down so I'll take it...

Hey, Blitzed--better than a gain always!

Congrats, Bron on all your good news!

Mal, that is an excellent amount to loose! Yay, that you are on my team!!!

OK, for me....and I tell you I never posted my actual weight in here last week and didn't write it down so it required some math that I was slow to do before my coffee or shower.

I am currently at 266.4 which means 4.1lbs since last Friday and 1.5 lbs since Monday's challenge started. Whoo Hoo for me!! We are on the same schedule this week, Mal.

I am down 6.2 pounds for the week and 20.2 for the four weeks I've been at this. The support of everybody on this board helps a great deal. Sometimes I get so busy talking to you all that I forget to be hungry.

Just a quick drop in as I have got to go back up to work to sort mail (joy!!) that I should have been doing when I had my weight management appointment, then when I was doing my bike ride (yeah!!!!) then now when I am about to do my weights. May as well get all the sweating out of the way in one go.

Blitzed, nothing wrong with a plateau week, it is just your body getting used to the changes, and it helps your weight stabilise, then go down some more ;)

Bronski, I am sooo glad that things are going your way!!!!! All those good vibes, then 2 kg loss on top of that. You must be the happiest panda in the world :D I am so pleased, and I knew your good planning and self control this week was going to pay off. I'm afraid I haven't got time to look in on your diary just now (though I am dying to know what's been happening with you) but I promise I will before the day is out. Needless to say, congrats are in order.

Mal, another excellent weeks weight loss, keep up the great work, and that goes for you too Pineola. Congrats!! ;)

And Cannon, 6.2lbs ... wow, that's fab. And I know exactly what you mean about forgetting your hungry .... I forget to go to bed :D

And finally ..... me! I have lost another 2lbs, so I am feeling chuffed. I was hoping for 3lbs to help with my July 10lb challenge, but considering how blocked up and bloated I feel, 2lbs is great! :)

Congratulations again everyone, and good luck to those who haven't weighed. I am off now, I only posted on this thread as it IS Friday, after all. I will swing by later to see what everyone has been up to in their diaries today.

Toodles peeps!!
