and so yeah..it's been forever. sorry. i've actually been doing a lot of field/out of office work and haven't been by to post, but i've been reading.
anyway - Christmas is a shotty time for me to try to get in the swing of things; however, i've finally come to grips with the fact that it's more important for me to focus on the fat loss first and then the bodybuilding second. at least until i get to a point where switching the focus would be beneficial. i wanted to badly to be able to just lift now, b/c i enjoy it way more than cardio. probably enjoy it more, b/c cardio is hard. i know...wah wah..right? hehehe! so yeah - the idea for me this coming year is to focus on fat loss and cardio endurance. as i see substantial progress in the fat loss area, i'll revamp my routines.
i'm actually very lucky, b/c i've got a great friend (suzan) who's willing to keep me going. we used to work together, but we still keep in touch. she's actually the one who's got me on the mountain bike track, also. anyway - she's very knowledgeable and shares a lot of the same ideas & such that i do. she doesn't need to lose as much weight as i do..not even close...but she understand how i like to workout and in those times when i'm not feelin' so great about it...she'll push me. yeah - we might gripe at each other, but we keep going.
so anyway - yeah - i hate to say it's a resolution, b/c i hate the whole idea of that...but i like to say these are promises to myself. i dig that. so yeah - i'm hoping that my posts will also be instrumental in helping me succeed.
