Jmann journey to a new me

Well I finished up my asylum back and core workout. I decided to go for a run. Was going to go out and do a 5k and ended up doing 5.25 mile run. My legs are sore but I'm feeling awesome. My legs keep getting stronger and my cardio and endurance is getting better and better. Here are a couple of screen pics off my running app

23 miles today on the singlespeed after a strength day workout with asylum I upped my weights today to 15lbs. My arms are dead and so are my legs. Had a nice climb of about 256 feet in about a mile. It is nice to be on a bike again.

I'm sure you're sore after all that working out, but it sounds like you're killing it! You're doing some great work man, keep it up!

Thanks. I ended up doing another 23 miles on Sunday. Then rode to work today rode home did the fit test then did speed agility. I'm really hurting now. But with all the weight I'm losing I decided I needed a new belt so I started working on it tonight. This is what I have so far

Thanks. So this past week has been tough. The weather sucked. So I couldn't ride my bike at all. I have been doing the asylum. But the scale has not gotten off of 175 this whole week. It is irritating me. I'm hoping next week the weather will change for the better and I can get back on two wheels.

Oh, I feel your pain on both counts! We’ve also had lousy weather the last several days and I’ve been stuck in the 208lb for a while. I’m finally down a bit so I’m happy with that. I hope your numbers and weather change for the better this week. ?

Yeah, my fatloss has slowed a bit too. I suppose the more you lose the slower it'll become as the body becomes used to working at those easier levels. I've gotten to where I weigh myself once every two, three weeks.

Well finally the scale dropped down to 173 this morning. The weather was rain so I couldn't ride the bike. But it finally stopped and the sun came out. So I'm back on two wheels riding to work and just riding for fun. And I'm pushing harder on my workout And doing more. I'm feeling sore again in the morning. It's nice.

Hey! How's it going? Been a while since I've checked into this site. Hope all is well with you and your workouts are going well. :)

So it's been a while since I have posted here. I've been doing good. Finished insanity the asylum. Lost about another 7 pounds with that. Started the hybrid. I do workouts from both the original insanity and the asylum. My weight has plateaued on me. But I see more muscle definition and I have a feeling that I have gained muscle weight but still loosing fat so they are offsetting each other now. I no longer weigh myself everyday. Just maybe once a week. But I have continued to eat good except for the odd treat day. And I have been working out a lot. Been riding my pedal bike as much as I can. I'm just over 300 miles on the singlespeed and have started to ride fixed gear. (Fixed gear is a style of riding that as long as the rear wheel is moving the pedals turn. There is no coasting) And I try to go running at least once a week. Last Friday I did my longest run to date. It was 6 miles. So that's about it. I will try to post more here. I joined a group on Facebook that is doing the beach body workouts so I have been posting there more. But I will start posting here more as well.

Hey good job so far on your progression, I wish I had a bicycle sometimes but walking is fun too when you have great scenery such as forests.

Thanks for passing by my diary !

Well today I decided to take a pic of me and compare it to my others. First pic is me at my heaviest 212. The next is after 60 days of insanity I was 180. And today's pic is after finishing the asylum and half way through the hybrid insanity/asylum. I was 175 this morning. View attachment 21052

You can definitely see a difference in your pics. Great work man! I wish I felt comfortable enough to post some before and after pics. I have been taking some for my own use, but I'm too shy to put them up here. LOL Keep up the good work! :)
