My diary only has a sparse number of visitors also but I think it is because most members don't understand most of the content, but it does get more feedback than either challenges or clubs where getting ignored is the norm.

Well only six more days of insanity and 4lbs to go till goal number 1 is met. I weighed myself this morning and the scale was nice to me again for the forth day in a row. I'm down to 184.0 this morning. Feeling pretty good
 
Ugh, Hawaii! LUCKY! I'm really jealous, I would be grabbing my surfboard and paying the hefty fees for the extra baggage just so I could experience some of the waves there, but that's just me. ;)

Anyway, I have strictly stuck to the diaries and never really ventured into the challenges/clubs. I'm not at that point yet, and I'm still trying to get into shape. Maybe I'll make a club in the future, but that's a while from now. And great job with the workout!



Wait... I have a question... What's a "Kettle workout?" :confused:

Ya I'm looking forward to Hawaii. It's my wife's and mine official honeymoon. My wife's grandma offered to pay for our flight and a couple nights in a hotel. So I have never tried surfing but I want to scuba dive. And the only other thing I'm looking forward to is hopefully getting a little ink. I have one spot open on my left arm for a Hawaiian pin up girl. My sister lives there so I get to see her and my brother in law as well.

I have one workout video that's about 1/2 hour long were you do nothing but squats and swing a kettle bell. It's a good workout. After insanity I'm hoping to get a couple other workout videos using kettle bells. And I can't wait to get my single speed up and running some can start cycling.
 
Hawaii should be awesome--I've never been but have lots of friends who have been who say it's just like the postcards! Keep it up with the working out, you're doing really well!
 
I went when I was younger. But I was only like 12 or something. I'm really looking forward to going. Looking good on the beach has been one of my main motivations to lose weight and get healthy. I keep a little reminder on my phone. My lock screen photo well it looks like this. View attachment 20545.
 
Thanks. So I think at the end of insanity I will give my body a break and durning that break I will be cycling and running. Doing some body weight training. And I will be waiting for insanity asylum to show up in the mail. And I will be giving that a go. My plan is to be down to 182 or so by Sunday. And I will have about another 10 to 15 pounds more to go to be where I really want to be with weight loss. And I'm hoping that another crazy workout program will get me where I want to be.
 
Well I did the last max interval DVD of insanity. Only four more days left. The only thing that got me through this 59 min crazy workout was the fact that it is my last time doing it.
 
People bringing junk into work is so hard, isn't it?! There's always crap on the table in the staff room at my job too. So tempting!!
 
It is a big achievement getting to the end :) you will do the last four days with no problems :)
 
Yes junk food is a weakness of mine. And my bosses wife always make some goodies for my boss to bring in. And it's always hard to say no. But I'm getting better at saying no.

And yes I plan on finishing it. My wife keeps me motivated to finish it as well.
 
Well only three more days till I'm done with insanity. And well I'm hoping to be down to 183.4 if not lower. But that would be a whole pound to loose in three days. We will see. Felt kinda like yesterday was pointless it was a cool down day with insanity and I didn't feel like I did enough. And I didn't. I know I need to let my body rest. It was just kind of a bummer to see the scale go up .2 pounds since Wednesday.
 
Alright well today was a little odd for me. It was slow at work and after 8 hours of doing a bunch nothing I came home a felt like doing absolutely nothing. But I knew I had insanity to do since I'm on the last couple of days. So I put on my shorts and shoes and got to work. After doing the workout which was 55 min long of plyo type movements I was tired but I wasn't. If that makes any sense. So I said why not go for a short run. Well my short run ended up being 30 min long an another 3.5 miles logged. And I was able to jog the whole thing for the most part. I stopped to call my do and let him catch up. Here are my

Well after a week jumping around the 184's. the scale dropped to 182.6 this morning. I had to weigh myself three different times just to double check. It felt good to see that number
 
Well I finished up insanity this morning. And got in a 2 mile run. In 60 days lost 22lbs and 3 inches off my waist. I feel great.
 
Hey good going Jmann, we're losing fat at about the same rate. Yep, it does feel great, less stress on the body, more flexible, aches and pains disappearing and it's only the beginning! I never want to go back to that painful, ugly experience of being fat. Today, I'm off to train on some hills to get in shape for the long rides when the temps warm up.
