Jessie's Journal

It sounds to me that you feeling bad during workout could have been because you ate only 600 cals. You should have eaten a light snack before working out. It also could have been emotional. Glad to hear you've made up the cals though... :)

Sorry to hear about feeling sick. I wonder if you had low blood sugar, or were dehydrated. Sometimes that happens to me and I get flushed and feel sick. Yumm, Olive Garden! They do make the best salad and bread sticks. Never heard of the chocolate lasagna, sounds sinful. hehe Have a great day!

Miss JB- the chocolate lasagna IS sinful... layers and layers of sin...*sigh*.. can't do that very often, lol.

So, bad news, last night I got off of here and laid down for an hour, even set my alarm clock, so that I could rest for a while before working out, and totally slept thru the alarm... didn't workout. Feel so guilty right now, you have no idea!!! First time in a while that I've missed, adn it makes me sad :( oh well, crap happens...
tonight tho, I will...

Chocolate Lasagna? Oh Lord I DO NOT want to know about that! That would honestly be the death of me I'm sure!

As far as missing the workout yesterday, if you slept right through the alarm, your body needed the rest more than the workout! Give yourself a break, it was only one workout... you're doing awesome! :D

Well, the Chocolate Lasagna caught my eye, now I'm thinking of Olive Garden for dinner, but too tired to go out. Hope you feel better today, not to sound funny, but have you checked your sugar level? It sounds like your body was telling you it needed rest. When I get overtired I get nauseous and cold. Keep up the good routine! Wish I could follow in your footsteps!

Glad to hear that you finally got some rest. REALLY GLAD :D but you are doing good of course on the exercise but eat some more food :p I know it's probbably hard with your kind've sheacdule... have a great day and drink your WATER

Actually I can only remember going under my cals one or two other times, trust me, I'm one fat girl that keep up on her food  lol But thank you for worrying about me :D

OOOOOOKKKKK- so todays food:
special k with soy milk 120
healthy choice meal (turkey, veggies, and cherry crisp) 280
tatertot hotdish...my sistermade it, it was yummy :)

Workout:
Elliptical~ 40minutes, 563cals, 2.51miles
Crossramp(decided to try more than one thing of cardio :) ) 5min, 50 cals
Chest Press~ 3sets of 15, 45lbs
ShoulderPress~ 3sets of 15, 30lbs- STILL wanted to cry doing these, lol
Treadmill as a cooldown~ 6minutes .3miles, 35cals.
*Decided that I hate the treadmill... it feels like I'm doing all this work and burning next to nothing!! *

Pretty good workout considering I missed last night, but I think Paula was right- my body wanted to sleep, and said, SCREW YOU JESSIE!! there will be no cardio for you...
Ok. I'll take a night off now and then.. but I think while I'm working Friday and Saturday night I'll hop on the eliptical and go slow(so my uniform doesn't get rank) and just to burn a few more cals :)

have a great day everyone- see ya later!

You're doing awesome! Yes, your body needed sleep and rest, and I bet you benefited more from rest that you would have if you pushed yourself to work out! Sounds like you kicked ass the next day with workout though! Good job!

Sooo today was pretty good- altho I had a chicken teriyaki(sp??) bowl at the mall, only ate half, and tried to eat m ostly the veggies outta there rather than a buncha rice, but ya know...

Tonights workout:
*elliptical- 2.71 miles, 615cals 45 minutes
*rotary shoulder(MUCH better than shoulder press :) ) 4sets of 10, 20lbs
*hip adductor-3sets of 15 on 70lbs
*hip abductors- 3sets of 15 on 70lbs
*150 crunches on 50lbs

I wouldn't be able to do that.. I love rice and pasta.. If it was right there in front of me I'd eat it... lol.. Hope you have a great day today!

Mmm. teriyaki chicken. i haven't had that in months! :( I miss it!!

and wow. great workout! it's totally amazing how you're doing the workout 5x a week. the max i could sustain was 3x a week.
