Jessafurr's Slimdown for Mexico Trip

Hi guys so the conference was ok I over ate yesterday but I'm not going to beat myself up about it.

I had:

2 pcs of bacon
1 cup fresh fruit.
4 cups coffee

1 slice banana bread
2 slices fat free sour dough w/ maple butter
1 large salad w/ ff dressing & 2 tsp blue cheese
1 tiny slice pizza
1 brownie
1 large red bull
1 york pepermint patty

1 cup thai tom ka soup
1 ice cream sandwich
2 slices pizza

ouch!!!

The summit was aweful coming home because of a snow storm. I had to put chains on my car and was stressed because the roads/cliffs are trecherous.

Today I'll do better w/ food.

hey its good the conference wasn't too bad and the food doesn't look mega bad either. you will have maintained more then anything else.
good to hear you are back home safe. storm sounds nasty!

have a good week!

Oooh, what laptop are you going to pick?! How exciting!

I totally blew this weekend. It always happens when I'm with my family!

Glad you made it through the storm safely.

You know, I picked up this honey cluster fiber one cereal that has about 50%+ of daily fiber and it's actually pretty good. Good enough that Josh keeps eating it all. Maybe I'll start the day with one of those and then go low carb for the rest of the day.

Hi everyone!!! I'm back!!

So I've actually been doing really good. I went on a cleanse for 2 weeks and ate only non processed foods, focusing on veggies fruits and whole grains. I didn't have alcohol or coffee for the 2 weeks and drank lots of h20. Anyway I'm down to 150. Total weight loss so far: 10 lbs. The really cool thing is that My pants are fitting loosly and I can rock a bikini (not perfectly but not too bad!!) I've been doing body sculpt 2x a week and taking a 1 hr walk 4x a week and a 5 mile walk 1x a week.

I haven't been counting calories. but I've been trying to be intuitive about what my body NEEDS and whether I am hungry or not. When I want to splurge I've been avoiding processed diet sweets and eating small doses of whatever it is I crave. Also tryting to stick to healthy fats like avocado and nuts.
I've been focussing on eating lots of fruits and veggies. Every morning I've been eating a Lara bar for breakfast. They are bars made out of fruit and nuts only, low in fat, decent in protein and around 200 calories. On the weekends I usually grill up some kind of meat (chicken or tri tip). Sometimes my latest diet approach equals under 1200 calories/day, but I feel good and am trying to read my bodies signals as well as eating very well rounded and healthy. My mom has never been a big eater and is very healthy. Also I have a very small frame-- I'm only 5'2". With this approach I eat more if I feel like I want to but don't force myself if I don't. I have so much energy and feel so good that I know that its been good for my body.

I leave for Mexico next week and feel good about where I'm at. I would like to be @ 140 by summer. (maybe less, though I do feel that my origional goal of 130 may be too skinny and equal a loss of boobage which I really want to avoid. I'd like to be size 6-8 and feel cute/comfortable in my clothes as well as good in swimwear!!)

Dax has noticed the loss and is loving it. And I like the attention! The weight loss so far combined with tanning in preporation for my trip makes trying on clothes and bathing suits fun!!!

I missed everyone here (Hi Lana, India and Angel!!)! I really appreciate your support!! Also I plan to be better at checking in on here!

Hi Jessa! It seems like you are doing so well, regardless of how much you check in w/ the forum. I think the best part about losing weight is how fun it is to try on new clothes!!!! I like to reward myself with little shopping trips whenever I drop a couple pounds! It sounds like you are listening to your body and that is working out well for you. I am glad everyone is taking notice because that is great encouragement to keep with it! Hope you have a wonderful time in Mexico, and rock that bikini!!!!!!!
