Jess - The road to happiness and health :)

I totally agree I can notice a huge difference! Even the smile on your face shows it. Glad to hear the party was lots of fun and you had a nice weekend! You deserved it!!

Wowee jess! You look so much younger in your recent pic!! Amazing work sweetheart, you should be so proud of yourself!

You're doing great with your menu too! You using calorieking yet?

Thanks everybody!
I'm wearing a ladies MEDIUM t-shirt today. Can't believe it!!! Last time I looked I was an XL!!!

Yep I signed up Lisa, it's a cool site, I meant to tell you I'd been using it sorry! :)

I'll get the body in the next pic, no-one else was home to take a pic for me. Off to do some Wii-Fit now.

I'm using Calking too. Much better than the old website I was using. I'm anabee on calking... It has told me to drop my cals to 1500 which I find quite hard to stick to.

You look great in your photo Jess, will you get a new xmas outfit to show off in?

Isn't it a great feeling to fit into smaller clothes! Good job on the medium t-shirt!

My kids recently got me a long sleeved t-shirt for my birthday, size medium and I loved it! But then I washed it and it shrank! The sleeves go half way between my elbow and my wrist now. And it's now WAY too tight across my chest. I gave it to my oldest daughter to wear because while my chest may shrink some more and I may fit into it that way, the length of my arms will NEVER shrink! LOL!

Sounds like it's time for you to start thinking about a new wardrobe I think... :hurray:

I heart you guys! Hey one of the best things is that the shirt was from Jay Jays - which is a 'cool' shop in my opinion! I have ONLY bought clothes from Big W and K-Mart for years now... And that's because their sizing is always more 'generous'.

Lol Tigs, this shirt is going in the wash right now, hope it doesn't shrink!!! :willy_nilly:

I'm not sure about an Xmas outfit Anna, it's just going to be hubby and the kids on the actual day, but we're going up to visit my Mum in early Jan, so I might lash out on some new tops to take up there. I went throught the garage yesterday and grabbed all my size 14's out. I've got about 12 pairs of jeans just waiting for my arse to shrink into :) I got them out as added incentive. Wonder if I can get to a size 14 before we go away? It's a month from today.

Thanks CG and Sunflower :)

Lol Jess I can't wait til I can wear something from Jay Jays, or Just Jeans or even Sportsgirl! Those places always have some nice clothes that I just stare at in envy lol.

I reckon without a doubt that you could get into a size 14 in a month. You're awesomely motivated and doing super well!

I know what you mean, I used to hate going past those shops! One of my personal goals is to buy a really nice pair of jeans from Jeans West (hopefully 14's or maybe even 12's later on - dare I say it?) and some tops from Jay Jays. I love Sportsgirl clothes, but I'm not really feminine enough for that shop I don't think! Maybe when I get some more confidence going :)

Thanks mate, I really hope I can, I'd so love to go and see my old school mates (they all/most still live up on the north coast) and not feel like a whale! I've only just caught up with a lot of them in the past year on F/Book so haven't seen them 'in the flesh' for about 15 years!

Just catching up your diary as well, Jess. You look fantastic in that after pic! Your features look much more pronounced and you look much happier :D

Lets keep it up. We're gonna rock this shit to very end :boxing:

I will CG, just have to make sure I exercise way more. I've been slacking off the past few days, but we have had a lot on. I've got so much done for Christmas. You really have to be on this thing every minute of the day hey? If only it was as easy to lose as put on...

Day, nice to see you - far out you've lost heaps more weight! That's awesome!
We're gonna rock this shit to very end
HELL YEAH!!! Thanks so much! So glad my hair is growing too, it's making me feel so much better.
Oh and for the record I loved Raiden the best too :)

Today's food -
Brekky - 1 slice of wholegrain bread and 1 large banana
Snack - 2 sticks of celery
Lunch - Honey and soy stir fry with chicken breast, broccoli, capsicum, spring onions, mushrooms, carrots and beans from my garden, brown rice.
Snack - 1/2 a cup of low fat cottage cheese
Dinner - Veggie soup (home made)

I think the multi vitamins are really helping. I'm feeling better in general and my bruising isn't nearly as bad.

Exercise - 500 reps with the 1.5 kg's hand weights. The past coupla days I've been doing buttlifts too :) crunches too. We've had 3 different lots of visitors today, wish everyone would piss off so I can hit the Wii Fit!!!

Best day yesterday, both my kids got the academic acheivement award for their year at the school presentation day! Both are top of their class! My daughter has got this 3 years in a row now. Every year since she started. My son is in Kindy, so he's off to an awesome start too. I may be the proudest Mum alive :)

WOW! Good for your kids getting awarded for their acheivement! As a parent you must be doing something right!

If I can make it thru the school year without one of my girls getting sent to the principle's office I consider it a good year! But then again, maybe I shouldn't tell them to punch boys in the nose when they can't keep their hands off my daughters' bodies. :Angel_anim:

Ha ha Tigs, I'm dreading High School!

Well today was my weigh in, and I only lost 0.5kg. I have to say I'm a bit disappionted, but I guess when I look at my total loss it makes me feel better. That's 11.5kg now. Half a kg to go and I'll be officially half way to my goal :)

LOL Tig, I think I'd prefer to teach them that lesson and deal with the prinicpals office side effects!

Halfway there?! That's awesome Jess! You're doing great!! Congrats about the kids too!! Sounds like they're hard workers!! =p

Thanks soccerrox :) yeah nearly halfway! Thanks re the kids too, yep they are great kids, I'm so lucky to have them xx

Food today:
Brekky - 1/2 a cup of low fat cottage cheese and 8 raw almonds.
Lunch - Wholegrain wrap with salad onion, 1 slice of low fat sliced cheese, tomato, lettuce, cucumber and beef marinated in teryaki. OMG it was so nice!
Snack - 1 large banana.
Dinner - Tomato and spinach soup with 1/2 a cup of brown rice on the side.
Snack - 6 fresh lychees.

Man it was hot today, about 37 degrees! I did about 500 reps of hand weights when I couldn't handle the heat anymore! It was 5pm and I thought - THE POOL! The kids and I went and had the best swim, and it was so fun and refreshing. Only down side was that 3 parents from school were there with their kids too (good fun for my kids to see their mates) and I felt so embarrassed wearing board shorts and a rash top :( I NEVER wear shorts and as you can imagine my legs are so white they glow in the dark! I have my Dad's English skin :)
I was pretty proud I still got in and went for it though. I'm going to have to buy some proper swimmers now. Swimming in an underwire bra is not cool.

Good job on actually getting in and swimming, even with the other mom's there. I know I've sat on the sidelines WAY too many times over the years because I was too embarrassed to be seen in a swimsuit.

They have these great tankinis now days - bikini bottoms with or without attached skirt, then a tank top with built in bra for the top (though if you are well endowed on top, those built in's are a complete joke) so that most problem areas are well covered. I love the one I have (even though it's now too big and the bottoms fall off when they get wet).
