Thanks, guys! Love Office Space by the way. I've watched it way too many times. lol!

I finished up the drawing of myself that I've been working on for way too long. I wanted to get that one done before I moved on to the Christmas drawing I'm doing for Chef's mom. Feels good to have it done. Yay for completing things! lol!

Still have to get on the treadmill. That will probably have to wait until later tonight, but I will get on it. Tomorrow is going to be a cheat day to celebrate our anniversary. I'm going to try to not make it an epic cheat day at least. lol!

Thanks, guys!! Appreciate the lovely comments. :)

Today is our anniversary!! Six years ago tomorrow we met for the first time in person, and one year ago today we were married! I love this forum for many reasons: It's helped me lose and keep off a good amount of weight. Sure I've regained some, but overall I'm still down a lot from my highest weight when I first joined the forum. I keep coming back because there is a wonderful support system here with lots of great people! This place is also special to me, because it's where I met Chef. :beating:

One year ago today....

......was a beautiful day. :beating:

This weekend we went down to Frankenmuth, where we were married. We dropped our dog off at the "puppy resort" for the weekend and drove down on Saturday and spent the day. I had already planned on a cheat day on Saturday, but of course Sunday ended up being one too. I'm not really that upset about it. I've been really good for a long time, so one weekend of fun is fine with me. Today is back to calorie counting. :)

Here's a few pics from our visit to Frankenmuth...

Love that town! It's so cute!

Oh.. forgot to mention I'll be getting on the treadmill in a few minutes. I'm sticking to my Mon, Wed, Fri thing, even though it's our anniversary. I get bonus points for that right?! lol!

Hi,

I hope you both had a nice anniversary!! You are a very nice looking couple! Frankenmuth looks a little like Leavenworth in Washington. Leavenworth is a like a Bavarian town. Looks very nice. Bonus points for sure for getting on the treadmill!

I see kids dancing around a Maypole. By all rights you should have come back pregnant :p Lovely pictures by the way!
haha! I forgot about that little fertility ritual. I guess we'll see. :p
omg.. that picture is priceless. lmao!!!

Aww Thanks, and yup, Frankenmuth is a known as "Michigan's little Bavaria". I love it! :)
Happy Anniversary!
Thanks, Q! Glad to see you back!! :)

Hi Jen, I'm glad you & chef had a lovely weekend. You definitely get bonus points for using the treadmill on your anniversary! xoxo

Vent ahead... feel free to skip to the bottom. ...

Well I was not very good today. I let my emotions get the best of me. There are very few things that get me riled up, but people who treat my kids like they are nothing more than a nuisance that they have to put up with PISS me off. How dare you make my kid feel like shit. If you enter into a relationship with someone that has young kids. Grow up and deal with it. Acting like they don't exist, ignoring them when you are around, and going so far as to schedule visits when they aren't home is awful enough for the kids. Going so far as to mark it on a calendar that clearly shows that you're coming over on days that they are NOT there.... THAT THEY CAN CLEARLY SEE... is fucking asshole. Sorry, but it's ASSHOLE. My kids should not feel rejected. It's one thing to not want children. I have absolutely no problem with that. I know it's not for everyone. It's a personal choice that everyone has to make. BUT, if you're dating someone with kids, ya kinda have to make the best of it. Show a little bit of effort. Show the kids you give half a shit about them. For instance, if you're at a sporting event for that kid, .... saying "hi" ... or "good job"... or "bye" should be a given after being in their lives for over 5 years! YEARS! And don't even get me started on the parent that allows their kids to be treated that way. Some people make me want to punch them in the face. Really hard.

Ok.. end rant.

Treadmill did not happen today, BUT I did get a walk in yesterday instead. So I guess this week is going to be Mon, Tues, Friday.

I always think that we have to get a license to drive a car, buy a gun, get married, even to get a dog but you can have a child whenever you want. No license required- doesn't make sense to me. To make kids feel bad or rejected is the lowest of the low in my opinion. For a lot of people kids become an inconvenience- REALLY- an inconvenience? They need to get their heads out of their asses and deal with it. Whether the kids are yours or not- deal with it. This world is filled with a lot of nasty shit. If you can influence a child to become something bigger than they thought they could ever be then that is accomplishing something with your life. I don't understand some people - they just don't make sense. IDIOTS!

I could not agree with this more. It's a sad reality that I wish my kids never had to experience. I will just never understand some people.

My calories yesterday ended up being around 2500. My daughter's fundraiser stuff from school was delivered yesterday. You know the ones where you're suckered into paying $17.00 for 16 tiny chocolate covered cheesecake bites. Such a rip off. lol! Three of them were 250 calories. I ate way too many. I'm feeling better today though, and so far my calories are fine.

Not sure what's for dinner tonight. Taco salad sounds good, or chicken of some sort? I don't know. We need to go food shopping this weekend.

Can you do taco salad without the shells? Sounds good to me, but I'm also hungry.

Don't beat yourself up too much about the overage, it's one day, ain't no thang.
