I was just trying something new. Some people in a drawing group I'm in were discussing what music they like to listen to while they were drawing and several said classical. Soooooo... I thought I would try it out. I like it! Very relaxing. :)

Oh, I see. I've been trying to get you to listen to different music for years, but the minute some people in a fucking drawing group mention they listen to classical music you immediately go and download some? That is some straight up bullshit.

You could make a pita-pizza with low-fat cheese, fresh tomato sauce, fresh vegetables and lean meat. Oven-baked goodness!

I coooould... but that's not nearly as fun. I'm bad.. I know. :oops: I'm making chili tonight though, so I'll be eating that for the next couple days . No greasy pizza, or tacos for me. :( I'll save those for my next cheat night.

We LOVE those and truly think they are better than take-out!! I use Whole Grain Pita rounds and when you pack them full of fresh veggies/lean meat/turkey pepperoni and so on, they are so good! 1 is soooo filling to which is amazing and strange when I could put away a large pizza ALONE! lmbo! :leaving:

Today is Friiiiiiiiday! It's the weekend!! :hurray: Goals for this weekend: Don't stuff my face. ...and uh.... hmm.. I guess that's pretty much it. haha! OH ...do the wii fit again! I need to do that!

Non-diet related goals for the weekend: work and get some drawing done. :)

I know what you mean. Weekends are always a bad time for my eating too. Still are on some weekends but I found a cheat day helped me. Saturday is usually my cheat day. Now I don't usually go out and eat 6 pizzas and hamburgers and fries-lol but I do indulge on something. A piece of pie or a couple of pieces of pizza. It stopped me cheating through the week as I knew I could have something on Saturday.

Keep up the good work!!
 
Jen- It's Saturday here & I'm fasting. I must be craaaazy! (I missed one this week & my sister is arriving in a week, for 8 days, so prob. won't get one in while she's here.)

Thanks, guys! I will have a cheat day next weekend. I'm a firm believer in cheat days. I'd go insane if I didn't have one. So next Saturday I'll be good during the day, but then I'm have whatever the eff I want for dinner. ;) Until then though, I will be eating salad and healthy stuff. And Cate, you are crazy for fasting on a Saturday. haha! You are stronger than I. :D


I stayed up way too late last night. I really need to stop doing that. I'm getting a late start on work now. So I probably won't get any drawing time in today like I wanted to. Maybe tomorrow.... if I go to bed at a normal time!
 
So you didn't cheat today/yesterday/whatever day it was? Great! Not cheating on the weekend is hard...
It is hard! But no, I did not cheat. It helps that there isn't much food in the house that would be bad for me to eat. Cheating would of involved going to the store, and sitting in my nice warm house will always win that fight. lol!



Tonight is the Super Bowl! I really have no interest in the game. I'm pretty sure we watched both of the games that determined who would go, and I couldn't tell you who either of them are right now. haha! I'll be watching for the commercials! ;) No, snacking for me tonight either! A Super Bowl without snacks and drinks will be weird, but whatever. I need to stay on track until next Saturday!

I'll catch up on journals tonight. :)

The "1's" are the controlled Cheat Days 2x a week!
I'm almost done with the book bc it's such a great read.. (for the exception of the last chapter - "Maintaining.")

Start the methods/plan tomorrow! :hurray:

Dolvett is one reason I watch the Biggest Loser. The other reason is Bob's beard and tattoos. haha! Kidding... .....maybe. ;)

Good luck getting through the Super Bowl full stop. :blush5: I would struggle with that!

Haha ... that's a good one! We had homemade pizza for dinner. I had a couple small slices. Now the real struggle begins. :p



I don't know what we were thinking making our cheat day be next Saturday and not Super Bowl Sunday?! We're crazy. haha! So far so good though. We just have to get through tonight.

Calories were good today.
 
Morning after the Super bowl and I feel pretty good. Not stuffing your face and drinking has its rewards. :)

I did stay up later than I wanted to, although it wasn't as bad as Friday night. We started watching an episode of Fit to Fat to Fit. I love that show, but I also have mixed feelings on it. The trainers meet their partner, and then take 4 months off and gain a bunch of weight. Then they meet back up and lose the weight "together". So the trainer goes from "fit to fat to fit". Horribly unhealthy for the trainers, but it's neat to watch the progression of them going up and down.

Here's the trainer from the episode we watched last night.

His doctor actually made him stop gaining weight early, because his blood pressure was really high. At the end of the episode he looked pretty much the same as the first picture. He weighed a little bit more, but gained more muscle. It's crazy!
