Very crazy! What an unbelievably unhealthy thing to do, just for tv.
Have they run out of ideas?(I wish)
Now I'll confess I assumed Super Bowl was baseball :blush5: There was something on the news & I thought "whoops"!

Exactly! It's so unhealthy! And the big baseball game here is the World Series. :)
 
I slept in today and now I have no motivation to do anything besides sit on the couch .....and maybe do the horizontal hula with Chef later. ;) It's exercise! haha! :p:D

Anyway... today feels like it's going to be a lazy day for me. I'll still be good with food though. I'm not slacking there. The next few days are going to be tough though. We have a certain little boy that is turning 9 on Thursday... which means cake and ice cream in the house. *sigh* I'm really looking forward to our cheat night this weekend. I need it! lol!

I like the sound of this. Apparently taking the kids to school in the morning really DOES pay off.

That Fit to Fat to Fit transformation is crazy! I look like his "after" photo. What did he do to get back to "fit" on the show, and how long did it take?

Thanks! As far as the trainer goes it showed him going back to his healthy eating and exercising with the girl he was training. But you know he probably exercised every waking minute he had. I think it was 4 months to get back down to where he was, because I'm pretty sure it was a total of 8 months for the whole process.



I'm struggling today. Why you ask? Well, let me tell you...hahaha.... my mother-in-law(aka Chef's mom) sent a big box of birthday and Valentine's Day stuff... In other words.. it has a shit ton of chocolate in it. It's currently sitting on the floor in our bedroom and I'm trying to ignore it, but I know it's there. It's whispering sweet nothings in my ear and promising me all kinds of good things. haha! ....*sigh*.... "la la la la la la! I don't hear you, box!!! I DON'T HEAR YOU!"

Anyway... my day so far has been good. I'm going to get on the treadmill later. I need to get my butt in gear in the exercise dept. I've slacked off the last several days, so I need to do something.

Hide the chocolate in the freezer! Maybe individually wrap the pieces in like eight layers of Satan wrap (autocorrect changed Saran to Satan but I think it's fitting). And hide it behind some frozen peas. Ooh, hide it IN the frozen peas!

haha! I love Richard Simmons! I used to do the Sweatin' to the Oldies videos all the time as a kid. haha!

It is Satan wrap... I'm gonna use that from now on! haha! Freezing it is a good idea!!! I should do that!

Dude, you have no idea how close I am to actually having to do that. I hate the treadmill so much. haha!
 
I hopped on the treadmill for 30 minutes last night. I probably would of went longer, but I realized when I got on there that my music player was dead. So I used my phone to watch music videos on youtube, which wasn't ideal, but it worked. It's charged and ready to go now. I even edited my playlist to put some of my current favorites on there. :)

Today I have to make a cake. My son turns 9 today! We'll be having cake and stuff later, which is obviously going to test my willpower. I'm allowing myself one SMALL piece of cake. So we'll see how that goes.

I've lost about 8 lbs since I started. I wish it was more, but I'll take it. Especially since I haven't been exercising like I should or restricting carbs. For the first month easing back into a healthier lifestyle... I'm happy with it. :)

Today is a snow day. blah! I can't wait for all of this crap to melt. I want spring!!!

I don't understand. What is a "snow day"? Looks like spring skiing weather!
Snow day? Oh that refers to the seventh circle of hell where my kids are home, bored, and driving me nuts.:willy_nilly: Spring skiing weather? nooooo! I want green grass and sunshine! I tried skiing once... it wasn't a pretty sight. lol!

Eight pounds in a month sounds great to me. And normally I love fresh snow but I can see how you react to it differently than I would, haha. Treat yourself to a little cake if it's delicious, but be good after that!

Since you wish it was more though, I think I can help you out. Aerobic exercise will surely cause you to drop a few more pounds. And, by aerobic exercise I mean bedroom gymnastics.

Ok.. so, last night went pretty good! Diet wise anyway. We had a house full of crazy, craaaazy kids. They were like squirrels darting from one thing to the next. :willy_nilly: But, I only had 2 small pieces of pizza, a tiny ass piece of cake, and a small scoop of ice cream. If you had been here... seen the chaos that was going on.... you would of been like..."It's ok, Jen... just eat the whole cake. We understand"... haha! :p At least we're done with parties til October. Then it's my daughter's 13th birthday party! A house full hormonal teenage girls...I'm scared already. haha!

Speaking of my daughter, she's going to her first dance tonight...awwwwwwww! Her first awkward middle school dance, where boys stand on one side, and the girls stand on the other side... and they try not to get caught looking at each other... haha! She's not a "girly" girl at all, but she actually wore her hair down today. Not in a ponytail for once, AND took a dress to change into! *sigh* my little girl is growing up. *sniffle*

I plan on doing the treadmill today. Not sure what we're having for dinner, but I'm going to try to be good tonight. Tomorrow though... tomorrow is a whole nother story! My goal for tomorrow is to eat as much as I can without throwing up. :eek: ...... I'm KIDDING! But seriously, I'm eating something really good dammit! haha! :)
