Glad to hear that there are no blood clots. Does Chef snore? Maybe it is the sound vibrations causing the injuries-lol. Good luck on the low carb. It has worked so far for me.

And speaking of timing and cheery news, a co-worker's son had a clot that resulted in some kind of brain incident. He's alive, but lost some functionality. College-aged kid.

So that being said, I'm glad to hear you're OK!

Sheewww.... Clots are Serious and Scary Issues! :hug2: Glad ta hear the good news!

Best Wishes for your Low-Carb Journey! :seeya:You Can Do It!

Actually, Chef doesn't snore. Not a peep from him at night. BUT, I'm still going to say he had something to do with it. haha!

Really glad to hear your legs are ok!
Thanks! :)

No, I'm pretty sure you're always sore because of your late night sex romps with your boyfriend after I go to sleep. I'm on to you
Well... *sigh*... there goes all my fun! :(

Thanks! And it's stories like that, that ultimately make me drag my ass to the doctor. I hate going, but clots are some scary shit, and nothing to mess around with.

Thanks, Stacy!! :)

Well today is day 2 of low carb. Have I mentioned that I'm also PMSing? Yup... I'm the genius that decided to start a low carb diet right before my TOM. Definitely not good timing. What was I thinking?! hahaha!

Yesterday went pretty good though. Hopefully today is the same. :)

I understand that doll! :D
Every time I have worked super hard and I'm excited about weigh in, tom arrives... I have never had an accurate weigh in when that happens of course. Not to mention the enormous urge of wanting to live out the fantasy of finding the Golden Ticket to arrive at Willy Wonka's Chocolate Factory!!

So glad your leg is alright.

OMG, I'm trying to start restrictions carbs today and just got my period. I feel your pain.

Ahh, I just figured out what TOM is, lol. I was just asking in Cory's thread. Doh!

I can't start any diet a week before. I have to start my diet immediately after and just pray when the 10 day mark hits that I can stay strong, cause them cravings baaaaaaaaad.

Oh, this week is going to be FUN!!! I mean, uh, have you lost weight? :Angel_anim:

I am trying to resist feeling smug about being a woman of a certain age........
I had to have a hysterectomy at 42 & have never, ever missed my womb :D
Some women feel less than a woman after it.....apparently! WTF?

Thanks, guys! My TOM arrived yesterday. I want to stuff my face so bad, but I won't! :)

Today is day 3 of low carb. So far I haven't had a problem sticking to it. Do I wanna eat all the carbs? YES. But I haven't. I'm sure by the end of the week I won't have as many cravings. Usually about a week into it I'm just not that hungry. Which is one thing I love about low carb.

Now if I can just get my butt up and moving.

Once I get really motivated, sticking to a diet is never really my problem. Exercising is a different story though. Chef and I are talking about doing a friendly competition/reward system. If we stick to our goal for the week, we have to do something nice for each other. Like a massage, take the kids to school, I have to cook him dinner:(, stuff like that. I think for the first week, my goal will be to exercise at least 4 times during the week for 30 minutes each.

That'll probably start on monday, but I still need to exercise the rest of this week. So, I will be doing the treadmill today and friday. Saturday I will either do the Wii fit or use my pilates bar.

Did I really just commit to exercise?

I did.

You did the treadmill today, so that's a good start, honey.

And, if you don't want to cook me dinner I'm sure I could always come up with some other things for you to do for me ;)

Those other things burn quite a few cals Jen! :D:p;)

Great Job on the treadmill! Especially w/tom...
We need to all get together as Bounty Hunters and KILL tom!

Hey, if you can actually move without pain or chronic issues, consider yourself very lucky! Make the most of it and move that body!! Have fun!
