Jen's Diary: To 180 or Below...and Maintenance!

Well back to 188 this morning... Darn scales. haha! I knew they were just teasing me. Still hoping for 187 ...or 186 by the weekend! :) Today is a beautiful day. The sun is shining, and it looks warm out. I doubt it is, but I'm going to pretend that it is until I go outside. lol! Calories were good yesterday.


Woo hoo on the weight loss! Maybe his cold germs went to work and devoured a bunch of your body weight. Could be a new diet plan!
Hmm... I might have to look into this. lol!

WOW NICE DROP! (I think your scale and mine are conspiring - mine is giving me more pounds boohooo and I am doing everything right)

Apparently our scales had a meeting last night...haha!

Yay for being obese! Keep it up!

Well, I was just "overweight" yesterday. Today it's back to "obese". lol! Hopefully I'll see it again by the weekend. I hate teetering on the line.

I did hit 186.4 today! So, that's about a 1.5 loss this week. I'm happy with that. Goal for next week... 185.
 
Rethinking your goal weight yet? Gonna decide to get down to like 100 or 105, and start treating people poorly just because you can? :D

Calories were good yesterday. I forgot to weigh myself this morning, I think I was still in shock from the dream....eh, scratch that... nightmare I had. I was pregnant. Lordy, I don't need that right now. Let's hope it wasn't a premonition. haha! *fingers crossed*

i just have the weirdest dreams sometimes - it makes you feel "meh" for a few days - then it goes away - they never come true.
well done on the loss btw.
 
Ok...so I haven't posted in a couple weeks. I fell off the wagon pretty hard the week before Easter. I blame that darn Easter bunny. haha! I finally weighed myself this past Monday, and I gained 3 lbs. I was actually VERY pleased with this number, because I was REALLY bad..haha. I stopped counting calories, was eating tons of chocolate, and drinking a LOT of Mountain Dew. Like I said...it was really bad..haha!

Life has also been SUPER stressful. We're trying to move, and it has been a complicated mess. Being the emotional eater that I am, I've been using that as an excuse to eat. The stress is probably not going away anytime soon though, so I need to suck it up, and get back on track! lol! I'll probably be super busy the next month or so, so I'll probably only be posting on the weekends to do my weigh-in update. I hope everyone is doing well though! :)

Glad to see you are still on here and doing great!!! Looking forward to reading your diary!!! Keep it up take the stress to the threadmill beleive it helps more then going to the fridge and not just weight wise!!!! :)
 
Welcome back Jen! Good luck with getting back on track. Don't stress or dwell on what's already been done and just work on reforming those good habits!

Anyway, welcome back. Use some of that sugar and caffeine supplied energy on exercise and you should be good to go. You probably only have maybe 5 or 6 more weeks of winter left as well. Congrats. :reddevil:
 
Welcome back Jen. 3lbs is not too bad, you can drop that quick stix. I'm also an emotional eater and I've learned to suck it up - so its totally possible. Get cracking!
 
Thanks guys! Getting back on track has not been the easiest. Especially since there is still Easter candy floating around the house. Hopefully the kids eat it up soon. lol! I'm just taking it one day at a time though. :)
 
HAHA! Easter candy didn't stick around long in our home.... and I can't say that kids ate it up either..Guilty :D

Just took a quick look through a few of your diary pages. WOW!! 100 pounds! That's amazing! And it's amazing that you actually maintained it in between losing! I'm scared to get to when I maintain that it will be harder than losing (cause you don't get that hurray! the scale is down! to keep you motivated). Keep up all the amazing work!!
 
Jen one day at a time is the way to go. Thats how I do it everyday. I'm scared if I look too far ahead the road that it seems overwhelming especially because I have loads to lose.

It's April, and my kids had a snow day today!!! I seriously don't think it's ever going to stop snowing! EVER. I'm soooo over it. haha!

I'm down to 188 this morning. I'm hoping to be back down to 186 by Saturday. My calories were good yesterday, around 1300. I'm shooting for the same thing today. The Easter candy is dwindling too... and not because of me either! lol! So that's a good thing! :)
 
Hey, can't believe you still have snow....here we went from winter to summer (in a matter of days). Yesterday it was in the 80s...and with "summer" storms around.
Good luck with the weigh in on Saturday!
