Thanks! I am having a great day other than getting my psych test back today in class....I got a 52%! with a curve! But I am not the only one that did horrible on it. Over half the class got Ds or lower...some of the girls around me got an even lower score. We are all going to start a study group so that we all can do better on the next test. Other than that all has been great for me today! I had some cake and ice cream:D
 
Hey all....got some sad new's. My co-worker's mom that had been sick for the past 2 weeks passed away this morning:( So when I go into work tomorrow things are going to be kinda odd....

But on a better note my mom took me shopping today. Anything we were to buy for me would be my birthday present. So I got:
~4lb medicine ball
~2lb wrist/ankle weights
~3 lvl toning tube set

We also bought an outfit for me to work my way into fitting into it. A size 13 pair of jeans and a medium shirt (which is really cute!!!) I hope that I can be wearing this outfit by mid spring. It is so cute!

Well I gotta go and do some exercising with my new stuff!
 
yes the shopping was exciting! I took pictures of myself in my new outfit...well sorta in my new outfit...since i can't quite get into it! lol I can't get the jeans over my butt and the shirt just looks bad....i'm sorry for my "girls" popping out:rolleyes: ...but here are the pictures....
 
Well I used some of my new stuff tonight while I was working out. Using a medicine ball while doing sittups is a lot of work. I did 400 sittups tonight using the medicine ball. I messed around with the toning tubes. Still trying to find the best exercises with them. I am not going to do my walking dvd tonight...I will do it tomorrow morning though. I will use my new wrist/ankle weights when I do that to up my walking a little bit. I still can't go outside and walk. The snow just keeps coming and it has been in the low 30's high 20's all week...brrrr!!!

I am going to have to work tomorrow morning...not sure about tomorrow night. My boss has been kinda slow with making out the schedule for this month....I have no clue when I work!! lol
 
Congrats on joining the 180 club!! Hopefully neither of us will be here long... & I do mean going downward not back up.

Becareful with the ankle/wrist weights. I have read some things that talk like they can do damage if you aren't very careful because they put extra pressure on your joints.

My workout for today:
400 sittups w/ 4lb weight ball
Various toning rope exercises...total of 100..20 of each
20 push ups
20 squats
20 innter thigh squeezes
20 butt ups
20 of the weightball...behind the head
20 throws up with the weightball

Well I am signing off for a while...need to do a virus scan on my computer...my computer is acting funny.

My god is it cold!! The temp. is....12F...wind chill of -11F!!! Ya sup zero temps! We are in a winter advisery! snow, wind, drifting/blowing snow, and freezing temps!!! Well I just got home from work. I am going to do some exercising here in a little bit.

What's a butt up?

Well i have been using a gym ball for most of my exercises. I lay back on the ball and walk my self out to where it's just my head/neck on the ball. Keeping my legs bent at the knees. You push your butt up and down. This is to tighten your butt mucles...and some of your lower ab muscules. In this book that I have they are called bottom squeezes...but I like to call them butt ups...lol!

Ya i think they are working. I also use the ball for sittups to. At first it is quite hard to balance yourself on the ball but after you get that down it's a piece of cake. I have also heard that using a gymball is more of a workout because you are strengthening your inner core.

Another good exercise is where you put the ball between your legs and squeeze...inner thigh squeezes...it works your thigh muscles....If you do the enitre exercise it can also work your cavs.
