:) Good morning all! Well I woke up this morning and discovered that all the local schools were on a 2 hour delay.:) I thought it would be wise to do the same thing. So I am here at home getting ready to leave in 2 hours for my 1:30 class. Hope you all are having a great day!:)
 
Well today marks that day I came into this forum and decided to make my life better and healthier. Tomorrow is my officall weigh in day. So tomorrow will be the end of my first week and the start of my 2nd week. Wow I've made it this far! I am thinking to myself "man did I really just made it though my first week? Am I going to do the same in the 2nd week?" Then after all of that thinking I thought once more "You NEED to do this, You CAN do this, and YOU WILL DO THIS! No ifs, ands, or buts about it! I am currently working on my morning sittups in between post. So I haven't completed my morning's exercise yet.
 
Congratulations on making it through the first week. I'm on day three of counting all calories for one week & its a struggle & a half. I think you should celebrate every accomplishment...maybe a nice relaxing bath or something.

I had this thing worked out to encourage me to excerise more where I would treat myself to 1 new song on iTunes for every hour I worked out. I might have to bump that up to for every week I complete. Dunno.

Just had to say congrats! & I can't wait til we celebrate our 1 month healthy, etc.

Good afternoon! Man psych was actually pretty interesting today. I mean my teacher is still as dull as can be but the topic was pretty cool. My mother...grrr...I come home and she is making cookies! I'm like mom why are you making cookies? You know I can't eat that type of stuff...and she's like I was in the mood for cookie dough...so now I have the temptation of Chocolate Chip Cookies in my house:eek: I might eat one and let that be the end of it. My mom also mad this pesto pasta salad. She's like I made this with you in mind...but the thing is...I HATE pasta salad...I dunno there's just something with me and cold pasta that I hate! I tried it but I still didn't like it. I figured that if she was gonna make something healthy she would of atleast asked me if I would like this or not. I'm happy and thankful for my mom to have thought of me in the process..but then again she is making those yummy cookies.

Instead of eating the pasta salad for a meal I made myself a turkey sandwich on wheat..w/ mayo, and a small salad with Italian dressing.

lol my mom just told me she made the cookies so that I would not be tempted to eat them :confused: so I asked her what she put in them....she put WALNUTS IN THEM! GROSS...I HATE WALNUTS so ya...no cookies for me...:(

Last night I slept great. I washed my sheets yesterday so when I went to bed last night the smelled clean and were nice and warm from the dryer!
 
Congrats on not being tempted! :) Man, if I were in that same situation with cookies....I dunno....lol, I'm kind of like the cookie monster
Yup, psych is a pretty cool class...I'm taking it as well, and even though some topics are a bit boring, especially with memorizing terms, a lot of it is really interesting

I'm listening to some Nickelback ~ All The Right Reasons. While listening to this CD I have done:

50 more sittups (250 so far today)
20 push ups
An asortment of weight lifting
Inner thigh thing...not sure of the name
20 secs of wall sits

Will be doing squats here in a bit...might do this indoor mile walk dvd I have (only have done it once since I have gotten it 3 weeks ago)

I am trying to keep myself occupied so that I won't be tempted to find myself one of those cookies...I have had one already..and that's enough for me.

Well I'm gonna do some more sittups and do this indoor mile dvd...hope you all are having a great evening!
 
Well I have done a few more sittups and completed a 1 mile walk indoors. The dvd that I have been using is called Blast Away The Pounds Indoor Walk (3 complete 1-mile programs) Denise Austin.
After completing my 1-mile walk I drank a full glass of cold ice water...:) Well i'll be online for awhile if anyone wants to talk!:)

from me,my kids go to Bellevue and they were on an 1 hour delay
the white stuff started melting today which could mean icey overnights
so be careful in the morning.Your doing awesome I feel like a wimp
after reading all those sittups you do I managed to get in 110 well I
lie on my bed knees bent using an ab roller type thing I do 60 then breath
(ouchie lol)then 50 more and my tummy hurts.
Also scissors really work the lower tummy very good and the inner thighs.
Keep up the hard work and you'll be at your goal in no time.

Well it's finally 9pm...this day seems to just keep dragging on and on! I've done all my exercise...i kinda started adn finished early. I have been half tempted to do some more before I go to bed because I am sooo bored. It's kinda werid how I want to exercise now...because I have nothing else to do but that. I'm not eating like I did...I'm not as hungry. I am addicted to sittups now...lol. There seems to be nothing on tv and I mean nothing! I would go to bed but if I do go to bed this early I will find myself waking up at 4am for no reason and I hate that. It's bad enough I have trouble sleeping the way it is...no need to make it worse. Well I am gonna find something to do. :)


Gotta pass the time some how...keep my mind of weigh in day tomorrow morning...I'm not worried about it...just want it to come.

Your indoor walk, was it at school or just a series of walking exercises in your house. It sounds neat, but I have a small house and there is no where around here to walk indoors (no malls, etc:( )
 
Well Today is Offically the end of week 1 and the start of week 2! Which means.....WEIGH IN TIME! I am happy to report...drum roll please..........I have dropped 2 more pounds since Thursday....which means I have lost a total of 5lbs since last week Tuesday!!! I feel great! I told my mom that I lost 5lbs and she is so happy for me. Man I wish I could just fastforward the week ahead to the next weigh in and just get this show on the road...lol

No I did this video at home in my bedroom. Since I am short I really don't need a lot of space...but if you are really tall I would give yourself a little more room. I have been doing this dvd in the space that is 5 1/2ft x 5 1/2ft. I am attaching the a picture of the dvd case to this post incase you go looking for the dvd. My mom bought the dvd at walmart or a meijer. It was quite cheap. The dvd includes:

each of the below get harder as you go on.

1.)Easy Walk: (15 minutes)= 1 outdoor walking mile
2.)Fat Blasting Interval Walk: (15 minutes)= 1 outdoor walking mile
3.)Power Walk and Tone: (15 minutes)= 1 outdoor walking mile
4.) Strecth: (good for before/after your exercise, and at the start/end of your day.

I have only done the Easy Walk so far and a little bit of the streching one. I hope this helps!
 
Man I have the house to myself for the afternoon! YAY! I am going to start my exercises here shortly. I have class tonight so I won't have time later on to do it. Hope all of you are having a great afternoon!

Ok I need a break. I just spent the last hour doing my math homework:p I think I might take a nap...math makes me sleepy...lol:)
