Jenn's Diary

ASometimes exercise don't fit with your schedule and sometimes your are just wore out. Give yourself the rest time you need and get back to it!!:)

You're not a slacker! Unless you let your rest people take over. ;)
Sometimes you just need a rest - listen to your body. You're doing great! Keep it up!! :D:D

Glad the little one is feeling better!

What is wrong with my head?

Here's the scoop. I don't know what I was thinking. I stepped on the scale last night, which I know you don't weigh myself at night. However, I stepped off, thought for a minute, then stepped back on. Since I broke 180 I haven't been reading my scale right. My scale goes in increments of 2. So above 180 I was reading it correctly. However, once I broke 180, I forgot how to read it. I started reading it as increments of 1. So when I was thinking I was 178.5, I was really 177. Good, when you look at the fact that I have lost 8lbs since the beginning of the year. Disappointing that I have not lost anything since Saturday. I told my husband that I want a digit scale. With big numbers. Also I was looking through my WW books and apparently when I started the program/meetings years ago, I was under the impression that I was 5'4" tall. So I based my goal weight on that. However, much to my dismay I am only 5'2" tall. So even once I get to my GW, I still won't be in my ideal range for my height. But who can complain. If I lose 50lbs, good on me!

So...... yeah 177lbs!:p

The boy is feeling better. Slept most of the night, but up way to early this morning (6:30). Didn't get any toning in last night. However, since I was up so early and ready for work so early, I got down on the floor and did 100 sit ups before we headed out the door. I think I'm going to start having my husband make sure I'm out of bed in the morning before he leaves for work, and get a workout in then. We'll see.:rolleyes:

Anyhow, hoping to drink lots of water today to flush away more pounds. Already had 48oz today (10.35am). Stayed within points range yesterday, will do the same today.

Breakfast: same - 3pts;
Lunch: same - 2pts;
Supper: chicken and broccoli alfredo - 9pts;
Snack: coffee (0), All Bran bar (2), Skinny Cow fudgsicle (2) - 4pts.

Total of 18 pts, so there is still room to move.

Calling for a milder day today, so may attempt a little walk at lunch!:)

Didn't get walking yesterday and today is a blizzard. Down to 176. Hope to maintain for the weekend. Did some toning last night while cooking supper. Stayed will within points range yesterday. Will continue through the weekend.

Breakfast: same - 3pts;
Lunch - same - 2pts;
Supper - undecided;
Snack - All Bran bar - 2pts.

Hope everyone has a great weekend! Take Care!

I can relate to the crappy weather. We haven't had any snow in the past few days, but it was bitterly cold, which always manages to interfere with my exercise plans! Not quite as bad today though.

Way to go on reaching 176! You're doing great!

Yikes! Up 2lbs!

What a crappy weekend. I gained 2 lbs. I refuse to change my ticker! Today I feel all crampy and bloated. Not happy. I'm my own worst enemy. I tried to stay on track, but had the munchies all Friday, and carried over the weekend. I guess I could have done worse. I know I was over my points Sat and Sun. Not by much, but obviously enough to gain 2lbs. The only exercise I got this weekend was shovelling snow. Didn't want to do too many outdoor activities with the boy. He's better, but didn't want to push things too soon. I'm thinking this coming weekend I will take him downhill skiing for the first time. That will definitely be a work out for me! LOL! I'm sure when I'm back on track this week, those extra 2 lbs will come back off. I just hate that they are there. I was hoping to hit 170 by the end of the month. Don't think I'll make it now. My mom brought me her copy of the Fat Flush diet and recipe book. Seems like a lot of work. Don't think I will attempt. Will try to get some toning in tonight, and maybe walk to the grocery store on my lunch. It's probably only 20mins round trip, but it gets me moving.

Breakfast: fibre first cereal w milk, black coffee - 3pts;
Lunch: tuna - 2pts;
Supper: leaning towards vension pizza w pineapple, cheese, green pepper, and mushrooms. Hopefully it doesn't blow you points budget.

Sorry about the gain - I never change my ticker either. But I have found that the one or two pound increases usually disappear just as quickly - they seem a lot easier than the new pounds that I haven't lost before. Don't be discouraged!

Thanks for the encouragement, Llamabean.

don't be depressed fun :) it actually could be from water or muscle increase or so i've heard. it will go away. *sending you positive vibes across the ocean* :) Lena

Very Interesting...........

So I made it out for my walk to the grocery store. Yuck! All this snow and slush, gross. Especially when half the walk is road side!

Anyhow, to my interesting tidbit. I was curious as to what my ideal BMI should be, so I search the net for a BMI calculator. I know I'm overweight, but apparently I'm obese:eek: . Too look at me, no one would ever think that. Perhaps I carry it well. Who knows! However, I decided to see what my husband would be classified as. He's 6'4" tall (yeah over a foot taller than me), and usually hangs around 228-240lbs. Apparently he is classied as overweight. WHAT!:confused: I then thought, what would they classify my son as.....overweight, too skinny. Who knows. He is rather tall for his age - 3'3" at 2yrs old and weighs 34lbs. He has a healthy weight for his sex/age. Funny thing when I went to check my son, they asked date of birth, date of measurement, height to the nearest fraction, weight to the nearest fraction, and sex. My husband and I - just height and weight. No distinction between sex.

Weird.

Hi Jenn!! Sorry to hear about the gain. Could be water weight?
Your pizza sounds soo yummy! Have a great day!! :D:D

Sorry about your gain. But trust me, it's minor stuff. You'll have it off in no time!
Yeah, isn't it weird about the BMI and how it's so nonspecific? I know a guy who goes to my university who is an amateur body-builder... He's about 5'10" and I'm not sure how much he weighs, but he told me according to the BMI he's obese! lol Yet he's 100% pure rock solid muscle. So it's sort of hard to trust.

I told my husband last night that he was overweight - LOL! I don't hink he liked that. Whatever. Once I lose what I want to lose I will be happy. Even once I get to 160, I'll be so impressed. :rolleyes:

Anyhow, lost the extra 2lbs. Yeah! :D I think it has to do with the water intake from yesterday. 112oz. I kind of blew my points last night. Could find any pizza shells, so I just brought Kraft Deliciso Rising Crust Canadian and Hawiian pizza. I worked out the points and had enough room to eat 3 pieces of Hawiian and 1 piece of Canadian. However my son would eat his crust, some of course I ate it. Then he only ate 1/2 of his second piece. I tried to get my husband to eat it but he didn't want it. So again I ate it. I ended up about 4 points over. Tisk, Tisk!:mad:

Today I will stick to it. Supper is already plan, so I know my points and will not overindulge. I'm planning a walk today. Even though it crappy out and the road are a mess, I brought big boots, big coat, and a change of pants. Hoping to get some toning in toniht as well.

Breakfast: fibre first cereal (1/2c) w 2% milk (1/2c) - 3pts;
Lunch: tuna - 2pts;
Supper - fajita-less fajitas - 1/2c rice, 1c lean ground beef, salsa, light medium cheese - 15pts.
Leaves total for today at 20pts, allowing room for snack (All Bran bar or something small).

Have a great day everyone!

Yay! Glad to hear the 2 lbs didn't stick around for long. Congrats on abiding by your points total for the day!

Busy day today at work. I think I spend a lot of time here, and not enough time getting everything off my desk. Scale isn't moving. Stuck at 176. I'm so damn impatient. Went for a walk today. Took the boss's dog. Too bad she like to chase cars - thanks for the FYI bossman! LOL!

Anyhow. Not feeling motivated. Just don't feel like I have it in me today. Bossman also sabotaged the day with timbits. Don't think it's put me over the points, but it sure has me craving junk!:mad:

Will get some toning in tonight. Hubby working late, so no one to laugh at me. Not getting my water in today. Only 32oz and it's almost the end of the day. Will have to have 2 of my big jugs (20oz) at home.

Breakfast: same - 3pts;
Lunch: same plus All Bran bar - 4pts;
Snack; 4 timbits - pts?;
Supper - chicken breast, noodles and corn - 8pts.
Was going to have ice cream tonight, but have canned that idea due to timbit attack.

Have a good night.....see you all tomorrow!:cool:
