Hi Njoyabl,
Your post made me laugh because I lost my butt way before I started using the stair stepper, I lost it pretty evenly with all of my other womanly curves lol, but I totally understand your concern about that. I actually hate doing legs too but LOVE the stair stepper! I mostly feel it in my calfs and my thighs but it has really created some definition in my calfs, thighs and butt! However, I do feel like it is a whole body workout because I try not to hold onto the bars and move my arms like I would when I'm running which makes me sweat like crazy. I don't think it will make you lose only your butt, if anything it will give you a really great and defined butt! When I started my weight loss almost a year and a half ago I would only work out 20 minutes a day and only did workout dvds, And monthly I would add a little bit onto that, even just by 10 minutes, when It got to the point that I didn't have dvds that were long enough I started adding the tredmill and elyptical and now my stepper so it was definitley a work in progress to build up my endurance- plus I am carrying a body that weighs 60 lbs less which makes it easier to last longer. You will get there, it just takes time. I think you should give it a try, you can be that chick wearing herself out! All you have to do is tell yourself your going to try it, if you only last 2 minutes then hey thats a 2 minute accomplishment! If you want to get good at anything you have to practice, so if its 2 minutes this week, it can be 3 minutes next week. I only last on it with a distraction, since I have it at home I tell myself I will last a tv show, sometimes 2 or 3 will pass and i'm still on it, but it takes time and practice. so maybe try lasting a song, before you know it you will be doing an entire album. I do take vitamins, I take a multi vitamin, vitamin c, b6 and b12, I used to take flax seed as well to get in some healthy fat since my diet is so low in fat but haven't had a chance to buy more since I ran out. You should look into some fitness magazines and get some ideas of what vitamins you might want to incorporate into your diet, thats how i decided on mine. Thank you for your post and questions, I hope my answers helped!
