Work work work. Had a work meeting at 8 this morning, so I was up at 6:45. After the meeting I went to my school and tried to talk to people about helping me get classes next semester, but no one was interested in helping. Then I went to Target and spent too much money. I did get new plates, cups, and bowls, and a new black shirt which I wore today and got compliments on. I have a midterm tomorrow at 10, and I'm working until midnight tonight.

Breakfast:
Multigrain Cheerios with skim milk (150)

Lunch:
Veggie Burger with a bit of ketchup (120)
Blackberries (70)

Snack:
Light Fat Free Strawberry Banana Yogurt (100)

Dinner:
Lean Cuisine Ravioli (250)

Tapioca Pudding (110)

Snack:
Mini Bag of Pretzels (160)

I walked around the big lake on my break today. It's so nice. There were baby swans in the lake, and people walking dogs and laying in the grass. The weather was nice. I like walking around that lake. It's huge, at least a mile around.

That's all. I love the new Beck cd.

Thanks Totallyscrappy! Good news! My finals are over. Of course I realized after my Renaissance final that I totally and completely got something on my essay so wrong it's not even funny. I'm so so so embarassed. And I'm taking the same teacher for Reggae Aesthetics in Literature and seriously, I'm so embarassed I don't ever want to see him again. He's going to think I'm such an idiot. But I can't get out of this class because I convinced a friend to take it with me, and she's really excited about it, and since it's on the campus that's an hour away from where we live I can't very well bail out on her now and leave her with a gas bill and no one to drive with. Hoepfully he'll forget by the time the class starts. Or I can just sit in the back...

I did good on my sign language song. I got a 93-my teacher said the song was too easy for me and I would have gotten a higher grade if I picked something harder. But I don't care, it's still an A. :)

Fuunky ..never be afraid of the mistakes you make..that is how we grow as people,..you can be embarassed (natural reaction). Or you can approach your prof in writing or in person and just say "I made a huge blunder and I am really embarassed and i just wanted you to know I am was paying attention in class.....and this is what I believe to be true answer. It probably wont change your grade,..but its a nice ggesture to the prof and will put you at ease for the next class you take. Trust me profs have read and heard all kinds of stuff (some written by moi)...so its water under the bridge.

Anyway congrats on your school and keeping up with your weight loss program
 
You're doing great girly! Don't feel bad about the mistake you made. I'm sure he'll forget all about it by then. :) As Jennifer said, they've heard it all. Anyway! Great job with the food and exercise! Keep it up!

Man, I got suckered into staying until midnight at work tonight. :cool:

Well, when I got home I was super hungry and my roommate had cold pizza in the fridge. I had one small slice, which had black olives on it. (250 cals) I was hungry since I didn't eat much for lunch or dinner. Then I had a WW ice cream for dessert (120.) A little too late to eat, but still okay. Someone else commented on my weight loss today. It's so great when people notice.

So, I calculated my weight loss (35 pounds since January 1st) and that's 8.75 pounds per month. And I added it up, and if I stay on the same track I should lose 105 by December!!! Can you imagine? That would put me at my body's ideal weight of 130. I can't even imagine reaching the goal, even though I'm in no way planning on giving up. I'm so used to this now, it feels right. I think if I even tried to cheat and eat something out of the norm, like something fried, or a lot of some kind of dessert, as opposed to the WW ones, I would get really sick to my stomach. My skin and hair have also been reaping the benefits of the healthy eating. Well, my skin as looked a lot better since I started using my new Neutrogena Healthy Skin Enhancer as well (you guys should try it, it's good stuff!) My jeans are loose and they look good. I'm almost at the weight I was when I got my job, which was in July of 2003. I had lost 20 pounds right before I had started working here and then when I stopped dieting I gained 40!!! Now I'm almost back, and I'll keep going. I have to pick it up on my exercise. I have plans to bike ride after work today. My best friend just bought a bike.

I was lazy and I slept in a bit, so that's all I had time to eat.
 
Fuunky that is most impressive....35 lbs is the size of a small child...my three year old weighs that.....Its quite mind boggling when you think of it that way,..or go pick up a lb pound sac of four or rice,...and then you realize what you ahve been carrying on your body.
Lovely job,.....and you knwo it will remain off as you have done it so sensibly. Your body is telling you this is the right food for it...good hair and skin is a lovely bonus.
 
you are doing sooo great!!! the fact that you can see results and others are seeing them as well is awesome. AND that you have really made this a lifestyle change and can really see yourself continuing and achieving your goals is such an accomplishment =)

keep up the good work, and don't ever give up =)

I took a 45 minute bike ride, listening to Bob Marley. It was really nice.

Went to Starbucks to read and got a Light Mocha Frappacino, no whip. 160 calories. Gave me a stomachache, but I got through half of my book.

Fuunky your doing terrific, you’re an inspiration for us. I would have to say that my whole food intake has changed as well. Im eating things I never thought I would like and would never had tried before. The support from you and the girls has been wonderful; it’s what keeps me going every week. Thank you and congratulations you’re a champion.

I cleaned my house all day and took a walk around the neighborhood.

Looking a little low on calories missy :) You know I have to harp on you, you would do the same to me. You're still do very well. Keep it up. Oh by the way I'll be in your neck of the woods on Thursday, I fly into Orlando and then I go to Melbourne Beach :)

Went to the gym for a short time this morning, like 25 minutes because I have to work today and I had to do grocery shopping. I got all kinds of fruits and veggies, some WW desserts, Multi Grain Cheerios, diet sodas. Man, I'm such a healthy good shopper now! I remember when it was chips, cookies, ice cream....ugh, it makes me sick to think about it now.

Fuunky you're going to be to your goal weight as well as you're doing. I read your posts and I just say "WOW" you're doing so well, your food choices, your exercising!! I'm so proud and excited for you!
