Oh, yeah...transparent swim suits are no fun. We go through tons of suits around here for Megan for precisely that reason. I bought two in September and one is already fading fast. She generally doubles up her suits when they start getting that way - then when we can see through *2* suites, it's time to buy two more. The extra drag of wearing two at a time is a benefit ;)

I'm going shopping today - with only one skirt in my size, bob walked up to me yesterday (while wearing my baggies) and said "You WILL go shopping tomorrow - RIGHT?"

"Um...yeah, that's EXACTLY how I planned to spend my day" ;)

No swim suit for me though, I think I'm good without one until April or May when beach weather hits...although, at almost 80 degrees this week, you'd THINK it would be beach weather now, but it isn't. The water is just too cold!

I hate buying suits for just that reason, either the chest part is too big and the bottom too small or the bottom is saggin and the chest is tighter then a minimizer bra. I just don't get it...can you have custom suits made?

My brothers swim coach used to make them practice a couple times a week with t-shirts on for the drag effect and then they had special "meet" suits that were uber tight and new and NOT transparent.

80 degrees! oh your life must be soooo tough...*snort*
 
LOL swimsuits. I haven't gone swimming in years because I'm too self conscious. My apartments are college kid central, and every day at the pool is like Girls Gone Wild - Spring Break Edition.

The sucky thing about being the stand in boss, when someone gets sick you either have to ruin somebody elses day off, or pull a double. I'll be here till late cause I just can't bring myself to do to a coworker what was done to me for so long. We need our days off!! I need lunch. I had to call my mommy to bring me lunch...how pathetic huh?
 
Just remember, you CAN'T and SHOULDN'T do it all. It shouldn't all be on your shoulders!
 
Oy, I know, I know...but right now I feel like my coworkers are breathing a huge sigh of relief and could really use a few weeks of worry free-ness (does that make sense) and I feel like the board has put it on my shoulders to do what it takes to get the moral in this office and department up after years of oppression. A few long days won't kill me...as long as I don't call my mom for lunch anymore. She brought me a burger and fries and a side salad with a regular coke instead of a diet. I was like...you want me to die of an obesity related illness don't you? So I ate the salad hoping it would stop me from eating the whole burger but it didn't, I was hungry. I threw the fries in the garbage though...ewww...I will never look at a french fry with adoration again.

I have a post it that is taped on my bulletin board over my desk that says "ITS NOW OR NEVER BABY!"
That's my motto with weightloss. I may never be in this mind frame for weightloss again, I have to do it now while I'm motivated and while I want it. And, failure is not an option...not today anyways.

Okay! work done. For today...back at seven am tomorrow! YEEEEHAAAAW! So todays calroies:
breakfast:
double short non fat latte (87)

Lunch:
cheese burger (a baguillion!)
side salad w. italian on the fork prongs of each bite (110...)

Total: A baguillion plus 197...ya...thats about right

I sucked on the water thing today...wait...that sounds so bad! I only recall actually consuming a 16 oz glass of water. SO naturally right now I'm chugging a one liter bottle of dasani. I'll be up at four peeing. thats life.

I worked out my brain muscles today...it was my upper upper workout routine. I'm pooped. I'm heading to bed soon. Catch ya'll in the morn.
 
Another day....I'm so tired. My son is so sick right now. He just can't kick this cold that he's had for a couple of weeks, it keeps getting worse and the pink eye is back in both of us. I called the school this morning to tell his teacher he'd be out and she said that over 2/3 of his class has called in sick today with either a severe cold or pink eye...my poor kid has both.

I was up all night with my son so I'm really draggin ass today. I opened my email this morning and I had 166 new messages from people complaining that my former boss was supposed to do something that she didn't do. I have a lot of ground to make up thanks to that "b". And, because the woman can't just get fired and keep it at that she's filed a complaint against me and the chairman is coming in today to meet with me about it. I asked him "should I have my attorney present?" and he was like..."well...um...I guess if you want to...". Whatever. If she has anything bad to say about me, my work or my conduct on the job its pure lies, plain and simple. I can't help but feel betrayed by the board right now for even taking a complaint for her, post termination, without going through our attorneys first. I'm calling my attorney, I refuse to get sidelined becasue a bad person got what they deserved and can't deal with it.
 
I tell you! i know about the clod thing. We have it too. And cannot seam to shake it. I feel for you. I hope your little boy gets to feeling better! Come to think of it I wouldn't mind my kids and me, feeling better also! I am having good vibes for you to get better!!!!:D

Sorry to hear that your son is sick,I know the
feeling of insomia do to up all night with a sick child my lil guy thats
7 months can't get rid of this nasty ear inffection he's been on 2
different antibiotics in the past month and goes back next week!
I hope your lil guy gets better cuz it's 10x's worse on the little ones!

wow, that sounds like a terrible way to start your day! I'm so sorry! hope you and your son get better soon! and i definitely understand where you are comin from w/ the former boss thing, i had to inhert the issues of my former coworker and gotta tell u, they throw blame around like it's free beer at a college party!
