lol.. aww Iwan - it's for grandpa!! (i have a soft spot for grandpas ;))

Poor little guy, he should just do what I always did on cleaning day..... hide it all under the bed. :D
 
I have a soft spot for my grandpa too, and I feel bad that afte 89 years of life he just spent his first significant amount of time in the hospital and lost a testicle...poor guy. But I'm still insisting we call it a welcome home grandpa harvest feast. oh, and my son tries desperatly to shove stuff under the bed but I go, dig it out and make him start all over.

Today was....eh?
Only worked for 22 minutes today. Someone congratulate me. I did however eat three freakin corn dogs today. One for lunch and then one for a snack and then one for dinner. way to go on the diversity huh. well, I also had french fries (oven baked), and breakfast was pancakes with real maple syrup. So, totally blew the cals again today.
but, I worked my ass off cleaning and rearranging. I moved a 300 lbs solid oak table by myself with the help of two, count um, two wash clothes. I got on my hands and knees and scrubbed my dinningroom floor with a magic eraser. moved a dresser and a couch. did several reps of moving large houseplants and some laundry folding. I was productive. Let me just say right now that nobody should ever ever ever under any circumstance put white linolium in their house...even if you do like natural light. stupidest thing I ever did.
So tomorrow I am going to be activly avoiding the office again. I'm calling it a sanity day. I'll be working from home on the budget amendments I have to get to the board and some other stuff I'd usually not be able to concetrate on due to the...office stuff, if I'm there I'll be doing intake paperwork and all sorts of crap. not doin' it. I want to make sure I do all this administrative stuff right, I'm not a knuckle head.
at least I don't think I am...

So now I'm off to do more laundry, and then scrub the tub and take a good long soak in it.

theres an excellent book about the subject, just came out last year sometime. its 1491 New revelations of the Americas before Columbus by Charles Mann. really good read, it'll change your views on colonialism, Columbus and the lot. It'll also strangly change your views on comunicable decease...thats just a bonus though.

I can't believe I havn't had any snacks today...and I've been home all day. I walked 3 miles today, in the middle of the walk I got in some sand dunes. I was walking in the wind and it was very cold so I'm going to pretend that burned more cals. And the wind was blowing the sand so I got a good microdermabrasion. nice.

mmmm, I'm rockin the turkey stew. I love that I don't have to think about cooking and making a mess for the next couple of meals. Its been nice. I've been doing the dishes like, every two days or so. I definatley recommend the cook once eat 10 times route...lol.
I've been helping a local orgaization coordinate a thanksgiving food basket for the needy kinda thing. Its been really tough trying to get people to agree on a time and day to get together and just do this. it can't take that much time if we have like 10 ppl and 200 boxes to do. I've already arranged for all the food to be delivered and set up at the staging area. Heck, I could do it myself if I had 12 hours to spend on it but I don't. I guess some people like the idea of saying they'll volunteer without actually volunteering.

Lunch:

and then I had to run to the court

snack:
1/2 cup low fat cottage cheese (102)
natures valley fruit and nut bar (140)

Dinner:
probably turkey stew (300)

That is a lot of turkey stew!..lol Sounds yummy!
My grandparents volunteered at the salvation army food kitchen for many many years until finally they just had to walk away - they were the few that actually worked and started feeling like they were being taken advatage of my the people that ran it. Some people just dont like to work.

Alright, I need to get my arse in gear and start working out again somehow. My weightloss has virtually stalled. I'm still 207. maybe its the turkey...maybe its the inactivity...maybe its the TOM, that started today (and it wasn't even enough to ruin my day, my day has been a sadistic fantasy come true). I went for a three mile walk the other day when I needed to really mull some things over in my head and it felt good. My butt muscles hurt the next afternoon for some reason after a long sit in court.

I saw my dream husband today. Thats my nick name for a guy I've had a crush on forever. Even my co workers call him my dream husband. I even talked to him, like a normal human being would do...lol. although I probably sounded like an idiot. K, so dream husband is a state trooper, so its like...agency cheating and it almost makes it taboo so that makes it even sexier. Hot I'm telling yall.
anyways, that made my day darn good in and of itself.

so my numbers are:

total: 1232 according to spark, 1252 according to the snickers fun size bag

I have no will power today so the fun size snickers made their appearance and I buckled to the pressure, twice. But I was accountable for it and didn't eat anything entirely big for dinner. Although I'm having a munchie moment right now but I'm drinking water and resisting.

Thanks everybody for stopping by yesterday and posting, I appreciate it. I know I have been MIA all day yesterday and today but it was for a good reason. And I'll get my rounds in tonight hopefully.

Mr. Dreamy is 6'2" blonde and his name irl starts with a R and ends with an F. He's got a dog who drools all over the side of his green dodge ram. We met about a year ago at a training teaching us how to use our digital cameras when investigating a crime and taking pictures of evidence including bodily injuries. it was interesting. we got to put make up on to look like we'd had our ass's kicked and then take pics of eachother and pretend to conduct interviews...it was hilarious. Now we see eachother in passing or when we do an agency assist and sometimes we'll go grab and drink or a bite together but almost always with someone else with us.


Today I went back on herbalife. I desperatly want to be under 200 by Yule and I have to break this plateau I've been stuck on. I've increased my water consumption because the vitamins and other herbal suppliments turn my pee bright neon yellow...that can't be good.
