Its getting harder to do...

Now that ive built up a lot of muscle mass i find myself getting hungry just about every half hour... i used to eat a minimal amount of calories... normally like 1300 a day and burned about 5-6 hundred so that means like 700 total a day. I eat a protein bar for breakfast and a foot long subway turkey and cheese for lunch and usually barely any supper. Im 190 lbs.. 5'11" and im not sure what to do because i want to lose my gut but apparently im supposed to be around 185 or a little less... thanks for any help you can think of!

When you say you are supposed to be around 185 - where did you get that weight from?
If its a general guideline then you have to make allowance for your muscle mass. A guy with low bodyfat but quite high muscle mass (due to training) can easily show up as overweight in these guides because they are just a guide for average people.
In effect, this guy doesnt have any weight worries :)

Lots of cardio needed to burn the calories, how much do you do?

if you're hungry every half hour. maybe not to that extreme, but eat small meals throughout the day. this will keep you metabolism burning making it easier to lose any extra weight you may have. i agree with dave about the cardio, and where you get that weight from. I'm 5'6" 180lbs with a six pack. i'm supposedly around 20-30 lbs overwieght depending on what charts you look at. also, now that you've developed some muscle mass, you want to fuel those muscles and make them bigger right? eating a protein bar for breakfast and a sub for lunch just won't cut it. many people forget that nutrition is just as important and the workout. don't be afraid to have a protein shake or two during the day, and make sure to replenish your body after your workout. that's the best time to take in protein and carbs. also, something high in protein before bed is a good idea. cottage cheese is my favorite.

thanks guys

hey thanks guys... The place i got the guidelines from are my friends and family. The only fat i really have left to lose is around my stomach and love handles. Hmmm i wonder how long it will take to get rid of.

it's been my experience that when you're on a bulking cycle, you're inevitably going to gain SOME excess fat around your waist; or at least, i always did. if someone knows how not to; hit me up! but, anyway, i don't think you've got anything to worry about. i'm 5'7 and 190lbs, and i feel great. not much excess fat at all. don't listen to those 'generally healthy' guidelines. i think nowadays, most people want a slim and trim figure, guys included, so that leaves us to carry on with the hulking physiques! :D
