Great job on all that studying. I think this is the weekend I'm finally going to start digging out all my old nursing stuff that I need to refresh myself and study up on... I have to train myself to start studying frequently each day because that is what they recommend in my program, with 45 minute to hour bursts of review a few times per day instead of just a huge 3 hour cram session... It will be interesting to see how I take to it

I love rows myself too. I personally think they did a lot with getting my back to how it looks now (I actually like most of my back (upper mainly)). I remember when I did deadlifts with my trainer and they were pretty tough. I haven't been training my legs like I should because I've been doing all the running. My legs get so weak and burnt out when I train them it's impossible for me to run that day and probably the day after, especially if I want to avoid the risk of injury. I guess I just really want to focus on the running I'm doing now, just for awhile and see what it does for my body....

I am slowly learning to accept my body for what it is. I've still got fat in some places but on the whole, I've come a long way, and I try to focus on that when I don't feel like I've done enough

Its hard to get back into the grove of studying since I haven't all summer, but its slowing coming back. I try to get my readings and stuff done over the wekend and then just refer to my notes for review... plus Im a flash card whore... they are my savior!! I think you are smart for pulling out all your stuff to "refresh" before getting back to it... you'll be waaay ahead if you do!

I haven't done any strength since I started running more frequently... but running has already done amazing things for my legs, they are really slimming down.

I know what you mean about trying not to focus on those areas that still need work... pictures are a great reminder of how far you've come as well as old clothes... Love your body Sam its beautiful and not just physically, but for what it lets you do!!!

September 11

Its been a decent day mostly. I really enjoyed not having to go back to work after my psy class. I studied for A&P for a good two hours, but I feel like I didn't make much headway, there's just soooo much information.

I came home and passed out on the couch, apparently I was tired... Step came home angry today, money issues as usual... seems like we can never get ahead, but such is life. He appologized and said he wasn't angry at me just at everything... and I understand... I just get tired of worrying about it ALL the time.

I got up just after 7 and made dinner. Nothing exciting just Turkey burgers and some potatoes. Step threw on the Bourne Ultimatum, but neither of us were in the mood. Its now just after 9 and I might see if he is up for a walk... walks always help us clear our heads.

I am happy tomorrow is Friday, I'm off at 2, hopefully I will be motivated to study and not come home and crash, but we will see. Currently we have no plans for the weekend, we considered a bike ride but since Step's truck was stolen we have no way to transport them... and riding a mtn bike on the pavement kinda sucks... so who knows maybe some tennis or something... most likely it will be another low key weekend with lots of studying.

That's all for now, I'm kinda blue and don't really know why... just am. I'm getting more and more sore by the min... I will be foam rolling tonight, hopefully it will help...

Actually at this point in time things are looking a bit brighter. It would seem like we're actually going to end up with the house and the radon will be remedied.

It's not signed, sealed and delivered yet... but it's close.

Yeah, I suppose low key works for me. I like to hide-out during my birthday anyway, and studying gives me the perfect excuse.

As far as the truck goes, I'm sure its in pieces by now or somewhere in Mexico.... Stephen was supposed to have a phone meeting with the insurance company today... He is still insured through a MA company and because he has "moved" it looks like they aren't going to cover anything. But he is trying to convince them that he hasn't officially moved yet... I mean his truck was still registered in MA and he still has a MA lisence... so who knows. I am trying to stay positive about it, but you just never know. He is going to fight to get at least some money... I mean he has paid them through the end of the year so I don't know why they wouldnt pay something...

Tragic dog walking accident. It wasnt pretty and she may be in a boot/cast for 20 weeks. 5th metatarsal. Apparently its a booger to heal.

September 12

Just checking in for the day... or evening as it may be. Its been a better week, but still not great. Although I did get a good strength wo in, I only ran once. I think this is mostly because I didn't really have a plan I was just going by ear. Hopefully next week will turn out better... And hopefully I can get a nice long run in this weekend.

Today was pretty low key again. Its busy at work, but I was glad to be off at 2. Stephen had a really rough day at work, his boss was not in a good mood therefore no one was allowed to be in a good mood. He was supposed to have a phone meeting with the insurance co. but he didn't get off work in time and missed it which only avergated him more. So I don't know what's going to happen now.

My Mom had an electrolysis appt. this evening that I went to. She had some of my mail I needed. She happened to comment that I am getting tooo skinny and that I'm starting to look "unhealthy." I don't quite think I am to that point yet... but I need to change something up. Stephen also mentioned that in the past few days he has really noticed a change.. and that typically he doesnt notice because he sees me every day, but this week my progress has really showed. I'm not really sure how to take all of this. Personally I still feel like I have a long way to go... like a lifetime to go... but I dunno....

Anyway, I will finally weigh tomorrow after weeks of not even thinking about getting on the scale. I have zero expectation at this point... but I am excited to see how many inches I lost because there is for sure a difference.

Sure you can tell her all about the running and healthy meals and all, but she'll think about the last two years where you've be working hard with limited success and wonder if you aren't taking any short cuts. Parents worry about these things.

With the pants, Think of it this way. For the price of a pair of pants you skipped a size. Not a bad deal.

Hey Cabbie thanks for stopping by. I think its always nice to buy new clothes in smaller sizes and sometimes shocking when you don't fit in your old size anymore!!

Step is from the Worcester area, central MA. We someday might move back there, its so beautiful... but we love it here too!!

Well I have lost over 20 lbs in the last 2 years, but I think its really starting to show now and I think because I've really busted my ass recently I've made bigger strides than usual. And sadly I think my mom is kinda jealous, but I don't think she knows how hard I do work. She herself has dieted her whole life with limited success, but won't let anyone help her... I've tried, but she wants to do it her way so I finally gave up, but I still support her efforts. She is currently doing WW and making small strides, I just hope she keeps it up!!

Yeah, I'm going to go shopping for some new jeans today... I might invest in one really nice pair.. but we will see what I find!!

First, that is such bullshit about the truck. I mean having a truck stolen and not getting any coverage from an insurance company you've been paying is rotten as hell. And a huge financial blow.

What is Step doing in the meantime for transportation?

Second, wow, sounds like you're hard work is really paying off. Moms telling their daughters they're getting too skinny is so common. It's strange. The important thing is your happiness and health. Do what makes you feel good.
