Exams starting in 6 days and im less than prepared. Had the day off all day and only started studying at 7. Did a good 2 hours though but still, im always the same!!

Haha Irish, I couldn't be more proud of you for losing when you are slammed with school and exams!! Thanks for the posts lovelies, ye are always sooo kind. After eating what can be described as TERRIBLE, the last 2 days, i have eaten good today. I consumed 1266 cals of all healthy food. yippppppe, while im typing this i am craving chocolate, but i am saying ' NO....NO...NO' to myself. I would love to lose 2-3 pounds this week, i hope i do, but if i dont, then thats okay too. I got up late today and already had messed up my study timetable for the day. I have my first exam in a few days and i am not really prepared. I am trying to keep positive tho, i am really tired today, yuck.

I hadn`t log on here in a while and I had lots of reading to do but I finally caught up with your diary...you are doing very well lately! I get very hungry around the time I have my period and also in times when I am very stressed so I try to have very healthy snack on me at all times that way i don`t buy the candy bar that is calling my name!!! Keep going you will get there!
Also consumed 1260 cals. Delira. Study is not going well at all!! I HAVE LOST ALL MOTIVATION...exam in a a days and a half time, eeeeeeek.

Another good day today. Consumed 1300 cals, i have my test tomorrow and im pretty fucked for it!! I can't really concentrate anymore...so annoying, my periods are also causing me to have so many cramps.
Hi Princess, I take magnesium for cramps & it also helps you sleep. I just did a quick bit of research & it is recommended for period pain, especially taken a few days before it's due.
"Magnesium, 360 mg daily for 3 days on the day before menstruation starts. One study that used this dosage found that it reduced menstrual cramps in women who took it. A few other preliminary studies have also suggested that magnesium may help reduce menstrual pain. Too much magnesium can cause diarrhea and lower blood pressure. If you have digestive problems or heart disease, ask your doctor before taking magnesium. Magnesium can interact with many medications, including antibiotics such as ciprofloxacin (Cipro), levofloxacin (Levaquin), and tetracycline; bone-building drugs such as alendronate (Fosamax), and risedronate (Actonel); diuretics (water pills); and other drugs."
I got this info from the University of Maryland Medical Centre site. Omega 3 is also meant to help & I used to take Evening Primrose Oil when I was younger & had periods. Personally I swear by the magnesium. I think it's great & I take it before going to bed.
I used to have really really bad cramps and I started taking calcium for something else and found that those cramps are almost gone, I am guessing that in a few months from now they will be gone altogether! My mom used to tell me to always keep my feet warm just before and during your period that should minimize cramps! Good luck with the cravings...you are stronger then them you can do it......as for the exam I always go for a walk or do something active before I study it helps work out the nerves and then it`s easier to concentrate!
Exam went good today, so so so happy. 4 more to go until this death is over. Another one now next week. aaaaaagh. Have a confession to make, got mac donalds today The stress of exams mood got to me and i caved in But tomorrow is always another day. Thanks so much for the replies ye are all so lovely

I know what you mean about getting fast food when stressed. It's sometimes so hard to resist! Good luck with the rest of your exams! Once it's over it is such a relief, isnt' it?
