Irishprincess weight loss progress!!

Just been reading your last few diary entries and I must say you are doing wonderful.....especially when you have some outside forces ...aka your sister not being as supportive as you need and deserve.....I went threw a mini version very similar with my dearest best friend a few weeks a go...she refuses to admit I've lost any weight at all and made comments about borrowing clothes ...when it obvious I am at least 40 pounds lighter than her and 3 sizes smaller now. We were always close in size but I was always smaller by a bit...and now that its really noticeable..... She is basicly in denial about her own lack of motivation and still refuses to support my journey.. it is what it is and if she ever dose decide to get healthy....I will be the " bigger" person then and support her!! You are doing wonderful and I am proud of you!

Hello guys!!:D
Today was another good day. So far i've consumed 1032 calories and i plan to have some protein and apple later to make up the 1200 calories i need to consume!!

Today i had Knorr Speciality Rec Thai Chicken soup... it was so yummy, i would totally recommend everyone to try it out:)

No exercise in as of yet, but my moms friend gave me this dvd set called something like 'P90 extreme home fitness' . It looks kinda tough but im going to try it out in a couple of hours time. I have to purchase an exercise mat though! But i'll just use the floor for the time being eeeek lol

Well heck yes you can burn a ton of calories dancing! That counts! I can't dance...that's why I skate. LOL.

Haha i hoped i burned alot of calories, and i havent skated in years. Sounds fun:D

Thanks so much for stopping by tetemcg:) Awh thats so sweet for saying im doing wonderful, thank you so much!!:) Some days i have bad diet days but im trying my hardest to do a good week this week and so far i am succeeding. Im so sorry to hear about your friend being so bitchy towards your new weight loss, 40 pounds lighter is a huge achievement, definitely green of envy over you! That completely sounds like my sister, she is soooooo in denial of her motivation and i dont get any support from her either! Poor us( we are the ones losing the weight and are going to look super skinny so i dont think so :p hehe)

Well done for being such a nice person, you should support her but don't be complimentary of her because remember she wasn't there for you. And you know what really hurts when someone your close to doesn't give you any compliments after losing alot of weight, in your case 40 pounds, which is amazing hun, WELL DONE.

Reminds me i have a friend, who me and her used to be the same weight up to the age of 17, and then she got down to 13 and a half stone and looked normal( she is very tall ) i wonder when i get to her weight or slimmer will she be bitchy to me. Because she tends to not compliment me if i have a thing better over her. It will be interesting to see lol.

Awh hun i am proud of you also, and keep up the fabulous work!! You look so much healthier in yourself:)

All the best darling:)

Hi princess :)
gotta say i m happy to read all this nice stuff on your diary...
the sister thing was sucky but then again what are sisters for lol it s ok it s all about motivation for u.... shouldnt bring u down.. should give u strenght to show her :p
i wouldnt say mean remarks to her thaugh cause i think actions speak louder then words and when she sees u dropping the pounds it will push her buttons more :p

other then that my life is pretty good out here... had my nephews over for couple days so i ate bad but back on track so will be around again :)

Hello guys!! Not much to report if im being honest. Day is going good had only 740 calories so far, going to make up the 1200 later on. I think this week has been my best eating week since week 1. Woop WOOP!

Today i went food shopping with my mom and all of a sudden i found myself surrounded by chocolate( my biggest weakness EVER). After looking what they had to offer i was like 'no no no girl, WALK AWAY JUST WALK AWAY'.

i ended up later though having 190 calories worth of chocolate but that was it. Normally i go on a rampage and consume like 800 calories worth of chocolate without noticing, so thats a definite improvement.GO TEAM LARGE.

I feel so ashamed to write this down, but, i have yet to start exercising. I can't believe it! What the hell is wrong with me? I am such a prograsinator its beyond ridicolous at this stage. I rather tell ye the truth that i havent then say i've been doing this and that:( lol

Also my sleeping pattern has been still bad, its starting to get me down. I think im going to read a novel tonight it might make me tired( hopefully)

Anyway im not going to say ' i'll start exercising tomorrow' because if i dont, it will be yet another embarrassing situation telling ye guys that i havent tomorrow.

Anyway best of luck to all ye guys trying to lose weight. Its a long path but we will get there one day!!

Adiós Amigos!! :seeya: xoxox

Good job with the chocolate. :) That's a great reduction!

And I totally understand how hard it is to start excercising! It feels really good afterwards, but it's just so hard to get a grip and go to the gym or something. You just have to be tough on yourself and get it over with! Maybe you could reward yourself with something nice after you're done? That's what I do. :) It might be food, if you have some extra carbs or calories (in your case) left, or perhaps give yourself a permission to go and get that amazing shirt you saw at the store the other day. ;D Keep it up!?

Hey princess, just read the last 5 or so pages of your diary, well done on losing 16 lbs :D

I feel awful for you that your sister is being so bitchy. She's probably just angry that your making her feel useless when it comes to losing weight.

I'm not all that great with the exercise either  I am trying tho. And I plan to step it up soon. As soon as I wake up I go on my mini trampoline, even if I don't feel like it and get off it practically straight away. Maybe you should get one too, and just do it for 30 seconds a morning. Seriously, 30 seconds, no matter how much you don't feel like doing it. In fact, don't let yourself go on it for any longer. After a week of that, I bet you'll be desperate to do it for longer, and you can do it for a couple of minutes, and maybe some sit ups or push ups. Then after that, if you feel like it you can do more. I think getting into the habit of doing it all the time is the hardest part.

I agree with what people are saying about finding something you enjoy- I'm starting badminton tomorrow, which is something I've always fancied doing. I'd quite like to try rock climbing as well, but I'm no way strong and fit enough for that just yet. Its all about baby steps. Just start a habit and don't get out of it!!!

I'm not going to lie, when I read what you said about a once a week binge being necessary, I got very stern eyes for you, which is why I was so happy that you only ate 180 calories of chocolate the other day :) I would find it really hard to stop at that, so well bloody done girl!!!!!

Dear Diary,

Today was another good day. I consumed 1226 calories and went for a 30 min walk this morning. Now, i know it's nothing major but its something.

I also went to see Bridesmaids today. I have wanted to see it for ages to see what the hype was about. There was a few funny bits in it, but i didnt really see what the big fuss was about. Like people have said its funnier than the Hangover, but i thought the hangover was hilarious! Oh well i suppose one man's meat it another man's poison.

I just want to say thank you so much for all the support, YOU GUYS ROCK. Seriously. It makes me so happy to read kind, supportive messages when i open my diary everyday:)

I hope ye all had a great day!!xoxo

:iagree: Yeah i know i have to start being tough on myself, i honestly treat myself too nice sometimes. I know that after i exercise i will feel proud as ive felt this feeling in the past and its one of the most rewarding feelings in the world!! Thanks so much for the support and advice chick! Hope you had a good day! p.s STAY AWAY FROM THE NUGGETS haha xoxox

Somewhere overtherainbow, way up high, there's a land that i heard of once in a lullaby.... Sorry couldn't resist:D Thank you so much for reading my diary hun. Yeah im delighted to have lost 16lbs but i dont look that different yet! I just feel alot slimmer and healthier in myself!

Thank you also for the support, especially about the sister situation. She is still being very cold to me. Like me trying to be healthy is the most annoying thing in the world to her. I totally get what your saying that im making her feel useless when it comes to losing weight. I feel sorry for her that she can't start for some reason, but she is being so immature. She is nearly 20! Its not like we are 12 anymore. But thanks for your kind words

Trampolining for 30 seconds a day is something i could definitely get into.I agree, the hardest part is getting into a habit of doing something!Goodluck in the badminton dear, you'll be fabulous at it:) Rock climbing sounds awesome! Yeah im going to try to baby step my way into a couple of habits and make sure i stick to them this time

Awh thanks lovely, i was proud that i stopped after eating the 190 calories too!! Thank you so much for your support again.Your so kind.

All the best chick xoxo

You know, the added advantage of exercise is that it will help improve your sleeping pattern.

Hello Sweat Daily:) Thanks for letting me know that!! I only did 30 mins of walking today so hopefully it might help someway tonight!!xoxox

Hi IrishPrincess.
I've just read through your whole diary. Your weight loss journey is so inspiring.
Nature Valley (?) granola bars are soooo delicious.
My dad always has them at his house. They remind me of being in America.
I was saddened to read about your sister's negative comments towards you. She's clearly jealous of your self control, will power, and weight loss success.
Negative comments normally motivate me to work harder to lose weight.. just to make them eat their words.
It still hurts though.

Anyway, it clearly hasn't held you back at all.
I look forward to reading more of your journey ^_^
Hopefully we can lose our weight together.

xx

PS: What's the august challenge?

Lol! I will haha!

Ah never mind your sister, I'm sure she has some mysterious reason for being mean, but I'm also sure that it is not that she doesn't want you to be healthier! Perhaps you could ask her if she would like to join you in losing weight, and turn the situation into something positive?

Hey Irishprincess, I just read your thread ^^. You're inspirational. You've had good days, and bad days, but you haven't given up. The best thing one can do for themselves, is bounce back, and you do that every time.

My sister and I don't talk anymore, she said things about me, and was so rude, that I cut off all contact. I know how it feels to have family against you, but keep your chin up. You're AMAZING.

I have problems with exercise too! I went at it for 3 weeks and I gained 5lbs, and lost motivation. I haven't been back...and I'm afraid to go because I don't like to be judged. I think to myself that the lady there will see me come back after 3 months, and see me as a failure. I know I'm better than that, but...it's hard. Even so! I make small changes, I walk rather than take a bus, and I do cleaning or play some Wii to get active :). The BIG thing is to get your diet going, I think, and you seem to have a good head on your shoulders.

I can't wait to read more. You've motivated me.

Also, I tend to stay up from 3pm-7am every day. It's horrible, and hard changing sleeping patterns. I know how you feel about that :(.

omg Princess i m sooo happy for you !!!!! i mean i m soo proud of you seriously u r doing a great job and i hope seeing this number go down so much really motivates u to keep doing the same thing this week comin!

Dont make the mistake i make sometimes when i see such good results i go down hill a little .... errrr i know not good at all!!!
