Hey guys i hope everyone is well:) Yesterday was a really good day, i consumed 1324 calories and danced for 50 minutes. Today is being good so far i did 4 mins of jumping rope, 5 mins of weight lifting and 20 mins of dancing. My only worry now is what to have for dinner!! Dont know weather to have a pizza slice or chicken, oh decisions decisions!!!:) I hope today turns out to be a very good day indeed. Anyway thats all i have to say for myself today!!:) Stay strong guys we can do it:) xoxo

Yeah i've only seen like 5 episodes, my fave was the Jordan episode( his trainer was a mega hottie) and i loved the Mackenzie episode what a sweetheart she was!! Hun we can defo do it:)xxx

So today went amazingly good, only consumed 1373 calories, tomorrow will be the real test tho because its SUNDAY!! when all the glorious foods decide to show their faces!! Went shopping today with my sister and we had to do alot of walking around and i felt alot slimmer...yaaaaaaaaay!! win win:) Also dyed my hair! Anyone know where i can buy cheap printer ink? i know abit random!! Well i hope everyone had a great day today too!! Much love boys and girls!!xoxox

Over here we have captain cartridge. They fill up old ones much cheaper you may have something similar?
If not, I usually buy a new printer because they come with ink and are usually cheaper :p
 
So today i ate 1691 calories. Eeeeeek, 420 of them were chocolate( i just couldn't resist since it was sunday!! :D ) i hope i didnt gain any weight from consuming an extra 491 calories then my normal days.

Didnt bother counting my calories today. I hope i didnt consume too much. I had some lasange with salad and chocolate afterwards, weigh in day is tomorrow and im really nervous.

My younger sister was being really mean to me today, she called me ugly and that she looks thinner than me( im about 2 stone lighter than her) when i said this she was like ' yeah, but your arms are still huge' It was just horrible, she keeps bringing me down about myself and its starting to take such an effect on me! I also made the family dinner today, and she described it as ' the most disgusting thing ever, like horrible, it tastes weird' She wouldnt stop insulting the dinner. My other younger sister who helped make it was so hurt and i felt sorry for her mostly because she is extremely sensitive. I dont know it just sucks, she's being such a b!tch lately (she's 19 and a half)and finds some little way to insult me everyday. I suppose you can say today has not been the best day :( I dont feel as motivated anymore :(

When she mocked my arms, it hurt so much. My arms are probably the biggest part of me. Im VERY self concious about them. Does anyone know ways to tone up arms and remove excessive fat from them? I've weights at home

Have you tried telling her how you feel when she says something like that? Like _really_ tell you're hurt? If she still won't stop it, I'd just ignore her, lose the weight and see who then looks smaller than the other! ;)

wow that is just plain ignorant! i have a saying that if someone insults my weight that i like to say "Im may be fat but i can always lose weight- you cant exercise off an attitude problem so your screwed":willy_nilly:

ive a friend like that , she didnt really say anything to me but she was snide about things, shes nearly 21 stone and went on a diet the same time i started though she gave up after a few days and is being a bit smarmy because i have loss what i have. i called her on it and got an apoligy and since then shes been complimenting me and asking how im doing. Sister: Gah! Sisters!! I have some of those. All those mean things she says are all HER issue with herself, like everybody else here said, and aren't about you at all. Just do what you're doing and don't let anybody get you off track! You're doing great!

Upper arms exercises: I do some of those exercises at home too, when I can force myself to do them. I try to do two bicep exercises (3 sets of however many I can manage at a particular weight), and two tricep exercises (ditto), about three times a week. There are several theories about what's the best thing to do: whether to use a higher weight and do less repetitions each set, or whether to use a lower weight and do 20 reps each set. I think when you're starting out, pick a weight you can do 15-20 reps of in the first set. Once you get the hang of doing the exercises after a week or so you can tax your muscles a bit more and use the heavier weights and do less reps. There's a lot of info out there on this but it can get overwhelming. There are countless example videos on youtube that show how to execute the exercises correctly. I hope this makes sense! Don't worry that you'll end up looking all beefy...you won't...you're a girl. It'll just mean you have oodles more strength, will burn more calories at rest, and once you're down close to your target weight you will start to see toned arms.

Maybe google 'dumbell curls', 'tricep workouts for women', or something like that, to get more specifics on what to do and how to do them. If you don't yet have a balance ball, I'd recommend getting one. I don't have a workout bench but can do many of the exercises with a balance ball instead.

The excess fat will be removed as you continue to lose weight.

Yesterday had the biggest binge EVER. I just couldn't control it. I NEEDED to have the bad food:( Disappointed in myself but life goes on. Today i had a much better day, ate 1200 calories and had alot of water. So today was a great day overall. I really don't want to binge anymore, but i know its in my nature to binge once a week. I really want to start eating healthy from now to Tuesday(which is my next weigh in day.)

I saw Sex and the City 2 last night and i was left disappointed. I loved the tv series and the first film was brilliant too, so i suppose its hard to live up to them!

The only thing really that's getting me down is that i have yet to start exercising. I HAVE JUST NO MOTIVATION:( Im reading other diarys and people are extremely dedicated to jogging and going to the gym. I know i would feel much better if i started exercising, oh god guys what the hell is wrong with my fattie self?? why cant i just get up and move!! haha

Oh tillylicious, i love that saying of yours, its so true. Im going to use it on her the next time she is being horrible to me about my weight and my arms. Yeah, and your right it was completely ignorant and out of order. Im still in shock how she could have said that to me.

I'm sorry to hear about your friend who passed the snide remarks about your weight loss, she is obviously jealous that you stuck to your diet and have lost a bomb of weight. Even i am jealous of you!!:) But in a supportive way of course hun:) haha. Well done for calling her on it, i bet she couldnt control her jealousy over you!! Jealousy is an awful thing, it makes people hurt other people( even people they care about). I know i shouldnt take it chick, when things have cooled over, i will tell her that she should be supportive sister. Not jealous of me, I CAN'T HELP IT THAT IM THIN :p( TOTALLY JOKING, stole that from mean girls hehe).

Thanks so much MsBubbles, at least i lost something Tuesday!! Im trying my hardest to be good this week but my obsession with food is getting in the way abit lol. Awh thanks chick, i know they are issues about herself and i feel sorry for her in a way but she really made me feel bad about myself the other day. But i know deep down sisters are sisters and she probably didnt half mean it, but my god it did hurt. Ive just always been very self consious of my arms, so when she picked on me the other day about it, it hit a nerve. Thanks hun and you are doing amazing too:)

Thank you so much for the weights info, i have weights at home and they are so tough to use. I do like 15 reps at a time( just about :p haha ) and im out of breath. I have some youtube videos of professionals doing the weights saved in my favourties. Awh, thanks you are such a dote, i know i dont even mind to end up with beefy arms but its nice to know i wont look like the hulk haha. I think it's great for you to go ahead and let go once a week and eat more food if you want to. You are doing much better than I am on that one. I can't force myself to stick to any kind of restrictions so don't beat yourself up for one day of eating more than normal.

Agreed: The Sex and the City movies were just awful. Nothing at all like the TV series. I felt insulted after watching the first movie!

Exercise: Again, I would NOT be able to make myself exercise if I hadn't found an activity that I was absolutely 100% nuts/obsessed about. See if you can find something you can get totally serious about. There are so many 'sports' you can take up. Hardest part is making yourself get out there and start learning or to get yourself a coach (I mean a trainer, not a bus!). Having a sport you are totally in love with you can't go a day without it takes ALL of the problem of motivation away. Another thing that helps is to sign up for a 'race' in the future - maybe one involved in a charity so it takes away the pressure for you to look perfect during the run, or walk, or bike ride. Having a deadline plus a training schedule to meet that deadline puts it all in a whole other perspective. Again, motivation is not needed at that point! You'll just want to do it, naturally.

Muscle mass burns/eats through more calories than fat. I think the main reason for middle-aged spread (I know that's not you...just using it for an example) is that our muscle tone goes to hell after 40 unless we pump it up regularly, and so we burn less calories because we have less muscle. That's why people always say they eat the same amount as before, but start to gain weight during middle aged spread. You will notice as you gain more muscle tone that you will get hungrier (Oh no! haha).

Hey y'all!!:waving:

Well today i got up extremely late. I woke at 1.50 in the evening today. I had some really bad nightmares last night so maybe thats the reason why i slept in later. Anyway my sleeping pattern has been crazy the last month and a half, its really upsetting me. I dont get to go to sleep until about 4.30 am which SUCKS.

Anyway so far i've eaten 595 calories today, and its 7pm here so im going to eat something else until 11 tonight when ive reached my 1200 cals intake for the day. Last night i danced for 35 mins, so at least its better than nothing. One of my little sisters left the house there to meet up with some of her friends and she looked STUNNING( she is thin and beautiful) She's also been extremely supportive since i began this new healthy lifestyle. She's a dote, i love her to bits. :) I really want to get into exercising hardcore, but my sleeping pattern is seriously getting in the way. I think im going to set my alarm for 9 tomorrow.

Anyway i'll update ye tomorrow folks!! Have a great day people

Thanks hun, yeah i like eating like a pig once a week because it helps me get the craving for all the bad stuff out of my system and be good for the rest of the week:) Oh yay someone that agrees with me that the second film was absolute shite! I didnt mind the first one i thought it was kinda fun though!

Thanks for the advice on the exercise front. I really enjoy dancing but i dont know if im doing it as hardcore as im meant to be doing it. But i get what you mean, finding an exercise that you enjoy really makes the world of a difference! I'd love if i was into jogging or running like if i was pure hardcore at them.

Yeah i think i might sign myself up for the marathon that happens where i live once a year. It happens every June so im defo going to take part the next time. All the money goes to a good cause too so that should be some clean fun!

I've never heard about middle age spread but it seems intresting to know about now!! I guarantee i will get it bad when i reach 40 haha:) Thank god its over 19 years away for me!! Ive enough to worry about!! haha
