Good morning, and happy Monday :seeya:

I'm taking a break from packing up for school. I have so much to bring back with me! I haven't had the chance to work out yet, but I plan to do it before I leave. I will probably just run a mile or two to warm up and then I'd like to do the 30 Day Shred again. Sadly, I never worked out on Saturday and I could not work out yesterday because I felt so crappy from all the drinking Saturday! Ugh. The good news is there was no pigging out this weekend! I was all over the place visiting my friends from school last year that I didn't even THINK about eating. Literally, I forgot to have dinner. And so did my friends! But we went to iHop yesterday morning to make up for it :D

Not much else to talk about... I should probably get back to packing so I can work out and get a move on with my day! Hope everyone had a great weekend :)

Found this swim suit from last year's Mexico trip as I have been going through my room packing things up today... figured I would try it on and see how it looks on me now :)

BTW, the picture from Mexico is actually me sucking in my stomach as much as I can... it was just me joking around... obviously you can't TELL that I'm sucking in! LOL but the second pic I'm not...

Unfortunately, I got a little too excited to come back to school and caved in a little last night. Okay, a lot. For dinner I ate a Jimmy John's veggie sub.. the whole thing... 570 calories. Then I drank with my friends and we ordered pizza. Ate 2 slices and some cheese bread sticks. So there's another like 2000 calories! Jeez.

I had a granola bar this morning before class and now I just got back and had the other 2 slices of my pizza that was left over. Now it's gone, so I won't have to be tempted by it anymore! But I still feel crappy that I even ordered it :-/ oh well. Just gotta pick it up from here and do better!

No workout today so far, but it is a really nice day and the sun is shining bright so I'm going to go for a run outside :D It's been so long since I have done that. Really looking forward to it :)

It has been rough in the eating department since the holiday's, that's for sure! I think my only good week so far was last week. We'll get it together soon though! I hope :) We're still here though and we're not going backwards, that is what is important!

So I invited my friend to go on my run with me (3.2 miles) and after about a half of a mile she started to walk. I told her "when we get up to this road, we're gonna start running and go up that hill." So we did, and as soon as we got to the top of the hill she had to stop again. So we walked the rest of the time but it was still a nice brisk walk, and it was nice to enjoy the fresh air and get some sunshine :D I just did some working out while watching The Biggest Loser. Jumping jacks, jump rope, squat & punches (moves from the 30 Day Shred), 20 push ups, leg lifts (110 each leg), and my abs workout.

Anyone else watching The Biggest Loser tonight? HOLYYYYY $H!T is that Chef SMOKINGGGGG HOTT!!!!!! :drool5: he can cook me dinner ANY day ;) WOO!

Tomorrow morning I'm going to work out before my weight training class. I'm not sure if we're going to start any weight training tomorrow since it is the first day, it might just be an introduction and overview but I'm excited for it!

Be careful with the pizza and drinking and stuff, it is way too easy to fall back into old eating habits and stay there for a long time. Especially at school. I don't want you to be another member who comes back 6 months from now and says "I gained back all of my weight." Now get back to eating good and working out! Now! :smash:

The progress pic looks great though. :hurray:

TRUST ME - I will NOT fall into that trap!!!! I already had my fun every night last year in college of pizza and drinking! Seriously, alllll the time. Plus when I DO binge with my friends sometimes, I realize how crappy I feel so it makes me not want to be that kind of person again. But thank you because this comment did push me a little this morning when I got to the gym ;)

I took a new progress pic as I normally do each month. I posted it in the before and afters thread but I'm also posting it here because I like having every step of the way in my journal. The first pic is what I looked like in September, and the second pic is from this morning.

Today is off to a great start - for breakfast, I had oatmeal (160 cal), 1/2 cup mixed fruit (40 cal), and some almonds for a snack (90 cal).

My workout this morning:
1 mile run around the track
2 miles around the track, intervals - 1 lap walk / 1 lap sprint
10 minutes elliptical w/highest incline and resistance @ 10. I put a lot of intensity into that work out and got a lot of sweat out!!!

I have to do sit ups and all that still but I might just do them later. I want to take a shower and relax!

ALSO - had my weight training class this morning. It was just an intro as I expected, but come Monday we are going to have evaluations to test our strength and all that. My professor even said that if we have goals of gaining muscle or losing weight, we can talk to him and he will make us a plan. So he is sort of like a personal trainer for us :D I think I might talk to him and let him know what I want to get out of this class!

1 mile treadmill, intervals (1 min walk @ 3.5 mph / 1 min run @ 6.8 mph)

Eating has been alright today but I'm already at about 1,000 calories for the day so I only have 450 left. Seeing as it's only 3:30 PM... I'm probably going to go over that. I'm going out to dinner with my boyfriend and then we are going to a movie. So you know how that goes. I'll try to do my best but I don't know. I'm feeling bloated and crappy today. Not sure how to feel about weigh in tomorrow. Hmph :cuss:

Wish I had better things to say, but I guess I'm just tired... and I feel like eating everything... so I'm kinda grumpy right now!

I'll check back in the morning with my weigh in.

I've been meaning to post in here but have felt a little intimidated. I think you're beautiful and looking at your thread and pictures has given me real hope that I can be the person I want to be on the outside, as well as the inside.

Anyway, just wanted to say rock on and that you're awesome.
