Inspired, motivated, and READY!!! :)

I'm sure the weigh-in will go well - your workouts were awesome this week. I'm not sure about mine though because I have been doing a lot of night time snacking. Next week will be better. It's getting to crunch time and I can honestly say I am really looking forward to the holiday break. We all really deserve it!
So glad I could motivate you to go back to the treadmill - I know what you mean about your legs being sore. Last night after 55 min on that thing I was ready to curl up in bed. I can't quite do 1 mile at 6.0 mph but I'm going to keep trying! You moved up so fast with your speed so I figure if I stick to it I will eventually get there.

I didn't do much at the gym today... I was a little sore from yesterday (I never stretched after the gym) so I did 20 minutes on the treadmil - 10 minute mile run @ 6.0 mph, 10 minute walk incline of 8 @ 3.8 mph. Then I rode the bike for 15 minutes. I did all my floor exercises today too.


Tomorrow is my weigh in... not sure how that's gonna go! I'm hoping to see 138 but I just don't know! I did good this week with my eating, though. Last week was filled with brownies and Thanksgiving food and the week before that was filled with that damn lemon cake! lol ... so we'll see :) 8 days to get to the 137 goal... I hope I can still make it even though "aunt flow" is due for a visit next week :-/

Ok, not fair... your idea of "not doing much at the gym", is my idea of a kick ass workout :p But I'm older than you, and have had 2 babies... ya, well go with that ;)

I really hope we all see our magic numbers tomorrow. "Aunt flow" is almost ready to leave so here's hoping :)

Yeah. Great. So I went to an ugly sweater party last night. I decided I would go to see all my friends that I never really see anymore. No drinking, just for a few hours. Yeah. Well I had my boyfriend drop me off because the snow was TERRIBLE and there was noooo way my little grand am was gonna make it anywhere without wiping out! So as soon as everyone found out that I didn't even DRIVE, a drink was made for me. The sad part is I only had 3 drinks and 2 shots.... and I threw up, I've been going to the bathroom all morning, and I feel like complete CRAP. And now I have to get ready to go to work 10-7!!! And I didn't get my workout in today!!!

I stepped on the scale and it said 136.8 ..... whoooa okay... I know that's not my actual weight, I know it's just because my body is seriously cleansing itself right now and everything is gone!!! I'll probably adjust my ticker to whatever my weight is tomorrow.

Alright... I need a bagel!!!! Chat with ya'll later... man I feel like crap... :puke: I HATE DRINKING!

Aww poor girl. Water, water, water! That's sucks you have to go to work - I would want to sleep all day - I really think that's the only way for me to get rid of a hangover. That bagel sounds good though - yummm. I'm trying to hold off on breakfast till I go for my weigh-in. I'll update you later on how that goes. Wish me luck!
 
Wow, I remember those days...... (dreaming of my old college days) Make sure you drink alot of water when your stomach settles and you'll feel better in no time.
 
....Sounds like Fun!! & ...the today sounds not so hot!...Sorry you feel crappy.:(..your tolerance has gone down quite a bit it sounds like! That's a plus meaning your body has rid itself of a lot of drinking toxins from the past.

Water & little bites of food every couple hours!..Feel better! :D!
 
Wow guys!! Worst hangover day EVER!!! I have been eating like complete CRAP, I feel sooo gross I just can't wait to go to sleep and start fresh tomorrow! Even though tomorrow night I'm going to my boyfriend's aunt's 40th birthday party where I know I'll be eating alot because their family always has AMAZING party food!!!!

Yuck, yuck, yuck.

Can't wait to run in the morning... I'm waking up EARLY so I can work my ass off!! Literally!! LOL

I guess I like to remind myself once (or twice) a MONTH why I hate it so much!! lol hangovers are the WORST!! And it is NEVER worth it!!!

Alright, so to sum yesterday up we can just say - SHITTY! Every single thing I ate had no nutritional value what-so-ever, apart from the Jimmy John's sub in which I was able to have some avacado, tomatos, and lettuce. Other than that... I ate like CRAP allllll day! And it showed on the scale this morning! Back at 139.6 LOL oooooops :) I know that if I would'nt have had a hangover yesterday, I would have been a lot healthier with my food choices and my weight would probably be a little lower... but hey... I'm still hangin' tight in the 130's so that's good enough for me! (Right now, at least ;) )

Because I felt so gross yesterday, I made my boyfriend wait to do his weight lifting until I got off work so I could work out at the same time. I just ran a mile on the treadmill and walked on incline for 10 minutes, followed by my floor exercises. As I was running I could just feel the damage I did to myself with all that crappy food! I did not feel good! Also this morning I damn near threw up just walking around getting ready to start my work out. Amazing what one day of complete shitty eating can to do you!

I planned to do more today, but my body is just not feeling right. I still got a great workout... I ran 3 miles on the treadmill @ 6.0 mph... then I walked 10 minutes on incline of 8 @ 3.5 mph and cooled down to = 45 minutes total. Did my floor exercises, now just had breakfast. Egg with cheese on toast :D Yum!

Gotta get ready for work.... goin' to my boyfriend's aunt's 40th birthday party tonight. Drinking and lots of party food are in my immediate future. Hmph. I'll try to be on my best behavior!

Staying under 140 with drinking and party food? Way to go! Looks like your in the 130's for good. Hope you had a great weekend!
 
Oh man!!! What a weekend. My body hates me!

Yesterday I did good with my eating up until I got to the party. There was every kind of appetizer possible, sooo much food... sooo much cake.... so many AFTER dinner and dessert appetizers! And I took full advantage of it. I drank beer and had a fair amount of "apple pie" shots. Alcohol + beer dip + buffalo chicken dip + chili cheese dip + taco dip + sloppy joe + cake + cheesy hash brown potatoes = massive stomach ache.

I wasn't wasted. But I did get a good buzz going. I was sooo tired at the end of the night, I just wanted to go home and sleep. We got back to my boyfriend's house and I went straight to bed. I was feeling fine, just really FULL and beyond tired! All of a sudden my stomach was hurting sooo bad. I went to the bathroom but couldn't really "go." I NEEDED to get this crap out of my stomach though. I tried to make myself throw up but all I could get out was the buffalo chicken dip - bright orange, hot, spicy - disgusting. I went back to bed and the pain in my stomach was getting worse. So I went to the bathroom and was able to go... but then I needed a trashcan too. BLAAAAAAAAAH!!! Yeah. This food was comin' out of both ends, no lie! And this wasn't the end of it. I had to make 4 trips back up and down the stairs, running up the stairs trying to make it to the bathroom before it was too late!!! I was up for a good 2 hours after we got home because of this. It sucked.

And now I learned my lesson - I cannot eat the shit that I used to eat, and I cannot drink as much as I used to drink! My body can NOT handle it!!! I'm glad this weekend is over though. I'm back at school, away from the drinking (I never party out here) and away from all the crappy food (no one here to make it for me!) I even left all the candy that I got for St. Nick from my boyfriend's mom and my mom at home so I wouldn't be tempted to eat it all this week!

OMG!!!! LMAO!!!! Funny how you just don't learn :puke: It is pretty incredible though how our bodies 'tell' us what's bad for us... if we listen ;) :) You'll just have to figure out what YOUR moderation is. That's one of the reasons I drink red wine... I can sip on a glass all night.

This is going to be a great week I think :hurray: Lets do this thing!!!

I look forward to hearing how the gym goes in the morning :)

Wow poor thing! You had quite the experience over the weekend - good lesson learned - I've learned that one a few times! I actually had a similar experience this Saturday night but I wasn't drinking and just ate myself sick literally. It's funny because when I started on the crap I told my hunnie I was going to get sick and sure enough - our bodies just can't take it like they used to which is kinda exciting I think! Just wish I could actually learn the lesson and smarten up. Oh well it's good while it's going down but it's never worth it. Good job still getting the work outs in! I would have been in bed all weekend! Let's kick it this week! I think it's going to be a good one!
 
Thanks girls! I think it is going to be a fantastic week as well... :)

Today I ran 3 miles on the treadmill @ 6.0 mph, then I walked on incline of 8 @ 3.5 mph for 5 minutes. In total I did 3.35 miles in 36 minutes. Then I did my floor exercises - squats, biceps curls, side bends, leg lifts, crunches. I feel really great right now!!! :D

I had oatmeal, an egg w/cheese, and a clementine for breakfast. So it looks like Monday is off to a great start!

I hope this week goes by fast... it's officially the LAST week of classes! Next week are exams. I have 2 papers to write yet... eek!

Time to check other journals and get ready to trudge through snow on my way to class!:willy_nilly:

Wow last week of classes - how exciting!! Don't procrastinate studying because that leads to staying up late which leads to late night muchies! You seem like a good student so you should have no problem. Then it's holiday time!!:party: I can't wait for holidays! Let's kick some butt at the gym this week! Your times are getting so fast! I'm not quite at 6mph so I'm working on that next - i can only do like 5 min at a time - I'm more comfortable at 5.7 right now. Glad you had a good start today! Let's aim for the same for the rest of the week!

You already have snow?! I am kind of jealous! I love snow. It's the last week of class for me too! And I also have 2 paper to write.. uh-oh. Let's not procrastinate! :)
