Am i the only person that read that he only eats one meal a day?
or is there another thread that fixed his one meal a day?

I don't think she meant to cut you down Beth.
Sara can correct me if I'm way off base with what she did mean, but I think it's more along these lines...
It's important to do a routine that you like, if that means running instead of, say, bike riding, then run, because you are more likely to stick with something you like.
However, you also must keep your goals in mind, and how best to achieve that within the things you enjoy to do. If your goal is to focus on improving your speed/distance running, then it would be wise to run first when you still have the most energy to devote to it.
If your goal is something like weight loss, and/or gaining strength, then it would be wise to keep the majority of your strength for the weight lifting that will be more beneficial to weight loss and strength gains than the running will be.
Well, I have no idea if I was representing what Sara meant or not, but I meant it.
I just have a little experience (ok, a lot) with things I say not necessarily sounding like what I meant. I have a huge history of things coming out sounding more harsh than I meant them to. Thank goodness my husband understands that, or I'd be in a world of trouble. lol
this responce probably has something to do with the fact that i've been drinking all day but: i'm not going to cow toe to people who get all jumpy at someone who doesn't agree with them. i wasn't trying to attack you in anyway. i was trying to put in perspective your advice for someone who is trying to achieve a goal that gets people very emotional. telling someone to go run all the time is NOT something that helps people when they are in the OPs situation generally. Many people hurt their weight loss attempts by too little food and too much exercise. nothing i said was ment to be or should've been taken offensively unless by someone who gets all pissy when someone says something contradictory. i'm glad you're on the board, beth. i'm glad for every person who comes and i've been trying to help.
