Imaninjadangit's Weight loss Spectacular!

ewww chicken and spinach pizza lol. Well if you like it that's all that matters. And well done on eating only two slices.

I'd stick with the sausage myself but its the cheese that's the worry. There's usually so much and there's so much fat in the cheese. That said, chicken has more protein than sausage. Have you ever tried a seafood pizza or a homemade pizza. mmmm :)

After my trip i am definitely going to make home made pizza for my diet. Watch that space...

I love spinach! My normal pizza is sausage and pineapple. Had I gotten that...oh boy!
As for the cheese, I'm not too worried. It's the only fatty thing I ate all day.
I don't really like seafood a lot. I can eat crab and shrimp, but that's it. I'm still trying to find a fish that has a good texture and isn't too fishy tasting. I can't do the crumbly texture. Once I feel it, I know it's fish. Lol

I'm not too sure what you mean by crumbly texture.

Some suggestions - although fish is different in different parts of the world

Atlantic salmon - this is so yummy grilled. Usually grown in fish farms and if its a wild fish farm, its ok but some of the fish farms sound a bit disgusting.

smoked salmon is nice on a pizza
smoked trout is also good and cheaper than smoked salmon.

I actually like spinach. I was just having a go at you.

Um, what about sole. Its a fine fish. I don't like too many cooler climate fish. That's when they are best served the way the french do them for example or in a curry or asian style.

Fish is best really fresh.

Its just such a pity that the oceans are getting fished out. In some parts of the world, people eat it every day.

Crumbly as in flaky. I don't know. Something about the way it feels i my mouth, makes me think of scales and yuckyness.
I am going to try Mahi Mahi or halibut. I read a lot last night about different types of fish, and I believe these are my best bets. I also read that sole is good, too. They said to buy fish that is really fresh, doesn't have the fishy smell, and to cook it the same day. Those are my best bets. I found a really tasty looking recipe for fish that I'm going to try tonight. If it's good, I'll post it on here.
Caffeine...spinach is super good. I love brussel sprouts, too.

I was going to go biking again today, but I opted out. I don't work tonight, so I want to get some rest and get up earlier in the day. It's going to throw my eating schedule off a little, but I should be okay. I'm going to work out with my Xbox Kinect in a few minutes. I have a game called Dance Central. It is an awesome workout.

Hope everyone has a great day!! <3

Dang, girl! you are on a HIGH HORSE! KEEEEP that mood up!!! You are doing SOOO AWESOME!!

Pizza?! Just TWO slices?! *high five* I woulda killed that thing...when no one was looking....
Everyone needs a rest day! ENJOY it!

Thank you! I feel great! :) Seeing the weight come off with nothing but will power and determination has made me feel empowered. I'm not using pills or any kind of weird diet. I'm just making good choices. I've never been this determined before. :)
I didn't go to bed. I'm too wired. lol I did work out with Xbox, though. I just have to rework my food for today.

EXACTLY! it feels SO good with just making SMART choices!!! How is that xbox Kinect?? i've seen commericals for it and it looks just so DAMN ingenious because it makes you move so much!

I LOVE my Kinect!! It is a little hard, because it doesn't read my movements as well, being so round and all. lol I know that I'm doing the movements right. As I lose weight, I'll do better. It really makes me sweat! :biggrinjester:

If yesterday was a test, I totally passed. :) We decided to stop and get McDonald's. We haven't eaten fast food in a long time, so it was a treat. I ordered a small fry, sweet tea, and a Big Mac. I drank half of the tea, a whole bottle of water, the fries, the middle bun, and the meat from the Big Mac. My daughter offered me peanut m&m's, and I turned them down. They're my favorite, and I said no to even just one of them. I drank water afterward, and went to sleep two hours later. I felt guilty, and my stomach hurt. I'm assuming that I have stopped eating junk long enough that it made me sick when I ate it....which is a good thing. This morning, I weighed 271. :) :)
I bought groceries yesterday, and stuck with super healthy stuff. I bought apples for snacks when I'm at home. Special K cereal, brown rice. I'm super proud of myself. :)
I'm of today, so I might walk to the park with my daughter...if it's not a million degrees.

AWESOME!!!
YOU ARE ON IT! It is all about making the smart choices when the problem is right in front of you...you go girl!!!!!!

271?! a drop, right??? what was your starting weight??

Ninja, this is UNSANEEEEEEE, you're doing really really really great, i'm really impressed :hurray:

Thank you so much!! I feel amazing!

I heard something today, that I feel rings so true with my weight loss, as well as life.
"You can't reach the castle without crossing the moat."
Whenever it seems like I can't bike somewhere, or I can't finish a workout, or I can't resist junk food, I push through. I know that the outcome of me losing weight will be so much better if I fight for it.

I will keep fighting, and enjoying every moment of it!

sounds good girl, sounds so good!!!! I'm feeling like you these days!!! =) let's keep each other ACCOUNTABLE! and OPTIMISTIC! AND ON TASK!!

It went well! How was yours? I am at work tonight, so my sleep schedule was off today.

I'm finding that I'm not as hungry all of the time, unless I'm super bored. I have no junk food in the house, so I don't give in. My boyfriend made Brownies the other day. I only had one out of the whole batch. I know that they taste great, but the taste isn't worth the fat I will put on.

I had kind of a revelation while I was cleaning tonight. I always give up on dieting, because I realise that I'm going to have to diet for a long time. After a few months of eating crap and feeling guilty, I always look back and think, "if I would have stuck with it, I could have lost weight by now." The thought came to me tonight...why waste all of that time eating junk, when I can eat well and benefit myself at the same time? Eating poorly makes me look and feel bad. Yes, eating well is hard right now, but I do feel better. I am seeing results, too. Even if I slow down to a pound a week, I will keep with it. A pound lost is better than 10 pounds gained.
I am sticking with it this time.

Oh, I did Julian Michaels 30 day shred yesterday. It kicked my butt, but I feel it in all of my muscles tonight. Definitely worth it!

Yes, definitely that is an excellent insight. And you know what else, by the time you would normally arrive at that thought of looking back etc, this time, you will not be missing anything about how you used to eat. You will be, or should be loving your food and finding it all very easy by that stage.

If your food is tasty and sufficient for your bodily needs, and your exercise is not so much that it causes injury or stress just trying to keep with the program, but is enough to make you feel fitter and give you a few of those lovely endorphins, then you will be feeling on top of the world. And looking at your best.

When you do new stuff, just thinking about it throws up lots of new insights. I love that. I am finding similar new perspectives also, just from thinking and observing my own processes. Some might call it navel gazing but i enjoy it.
