I'm trying this again!

Ok so I have decided to try another log and am hoping this time that the cyber stalkers keep to themselves this time. So to start with I will list my goals for the future, and so I have a reference. Here goes-
Renee Claude Carre! Need I say more? No I don't think so! That is kinda the goal.

Her stats- 5'6" 116lbs; 34-24-33

My stats- 5'5" 125lbs; ummm no don't think so-26.5-34.5

Now I don't mind the 34.5 on the hips, but I also don't see the 24 waist being realistic for me. I would like to shave some off the waist though to 25 maybe. My arms are still 13" flexed and 11 3/4" unflexed. I have no idea what Renee's are but holy I want those arms!! So I have a goal and I have a plan. So giddy up here I go.

Ok so here's the deal. The squats were hard, on my legs and on my back. Why it hurt my back I have no idea! I had a trainer watch my form, no problem there. So I am at a loss All from someone else's stupidity!

FL1 - Workout B1

supersets with full rest/75secs

A
deadlifts- 95lbs/15; 95lbs/15; 95lbs/15
Db incline bench press- 25lbs/15; 30bs/15; 30lbs/15 (per hand)

B

Mixed grip lat pulldown- 70lbs/15; 70lbs/15; 70lbs/15

C
Romanian Deadlift- 95lbs/15; 95lbs/15; 95lbs/15
Planks- 60 secs; 60secs; 90 secs

Today went better than I thought it would. I still can't lift heavier on the deads etc and I did not want to try the swiss ball until my back is better. It felt better than I thought it would, but I'll see how it feels later. I was sweating so thats a good thing, even without being able to go heavier. Next week I will try to increase the weight if my back can handle it. My quads were still really sore from my last workout (damn three weeks off!!) and I could only do 20lbs per db on the BSS's. My glutes were a little tender too but the RDL's always make them feel great. There was no one at the gym this morning really so it was really easy to get thru everything.

Still having back issues, but I saw Bruce today and he worked on me for almost 1 hour. I'll be sore today but I should start feeling better by tonight once the nerves start calming down. I have some big issues that we are going to work on from the accident, and a couple minor things from before that he will fix for me. My knees are still perfect from when he last worked on me. We discussed how I should train and because of my size and strength I should only lift really heavy once a month. At any rate I should start seeing really good gains and be free of aches and pains. So after the FL program I have someone really awesome to set up my training with. So look out! Because of my job I will be doing treatments often, lifting heavy ppl in squishy places puts me at risk for a whole lot of problems. Right now we will work on the IQ band, hammies and glutes, that seems to be where I need the most work. Thank God for Bruce, I have high hopes for my future training schedule and so really big lifts!

I'm excited... Remember I pm'd you those 'special' pics of me, you owe me! lol

Goodluck, you progress quick, so I'm looking foward to reading :D

YAY!!!! Even tho you didnt vote for me I can forgive you.

Dont worry you got 3 spunky new mods to watch your back!!!!

Good luck. - looks like she does a lot of extra isolation on her shoulders.

Thanks Mreik I was going to post my before pic's but thought better of it. But I will update my states and any changes as I go along. The workouts are challenging in a different way for me and I hope that all the sweating and pain will produce the results I want. Plus with Bruce helping me with training afterward I am sure I'll get great results in strength and body comp. :D Thanks for the encouragement Mreik :D

Thanks mister I'm counting on you guys to keep me safe from anymore creeps. Fatloss first then I will rebuild my bod. I think the easy part for me will be the arms. :D

Glad to see you back Jenn!

Are those workouts set up for you already in NROL or did you pick them out?

Awesome you finally got the post up. Looking forward to your progress.. You already have it in you to have that body, and better. Were all with you!

Already set up AJP its the fatloss programs. I need to lean out a little more I think to be really comfortable with myself. Next I will go on a strength program and finally a little building up the arms. Thanks for the support AJP much appreciated.

Thanks Brahma all this support is great, it really helps the drive. I am hoping that by adding a few elements into the mix I will be successful. Say hello to some hiit training on my off days or at night, jump rope mostly!! Should be interesting!

You need to come down to Fla Jenn to show off that boddyy @ the beach!

NO that would mean putting on a bathing suit:eek: I still have trouble with that! I finally got my ass into shorts this year, its been 16 years since that happened. Maybe if I reach my goals I might decide to get myself into a bathing suit, but until then no way:eek: Thanks for the compliment though Mreik, you are definately my biggest fan ( or at least modivator :D)

Yesterday's workout since I couldn't post it!

No squatting etc yet, my trainer came to keep an eye on me. I was told to go easy and no squats of any kind, no deads etc, you get the idea.
So upper body it is at least its something, and core work!

Latpull downs- 80lbs/12; 90lbs/12; 100lbs/10
db bench press- 30lbs/10; 35lbs/10 x 2 (each hand)
pull ups- 8; 6; 5; 5
flys- 20lbs/12; 25lbs/12; 25lbs/10 (each hand)
dips- 12; 12;10
crunches- 50lbs/12 x 3
reverse crunches- 50lbs/12 x 3
planks- 1.5 mins; 1.25 mins

Done. Was good to lift a almost decent amount of weight finally!!
Tomorrow I may be able to do some lower body stuff. My back is feeling pretty damn good today now I can't screw up and set myself behind again! So slow and easy it goes!

October 5 2006

Yes I got into the gym today I finally have a day off (although they asked me to work out of town I said no) so I trained this morning and can run errands while the boys are both in school this afternoon.

Lat pull downs- 50lbs/12; 70lbs/10; 85lbs/10; 85lbs/8; 55lbs/12
db bench-30lbs/10; 35lbs/10; 40lbs/8 x 2 (each hand)
rows- 80lbs/12; switched machines and used another mahine so that I was pulling down and in instead of in and up, felt it more in the areas I should have so 70lbs each cable for a total of 140lbs - 140lbs/10 x 3 new PR for me
flys- 25lbs/12 x 3 (each hand)
rear delt raises- 20lbs/10 x 3
bulgarian split squats- 25lbs/12 x 3 (each hand)
squats- 95lbs x 5 - once I get to parellel or below I feel it so verdict from my trainer is no squats yet!
RDL's w/shrugs- 95lbs/12 x 3

Oh my God it felt great to get into the gym instead of working out at home!! I miss getting in there! Saturday will be my next workout day at the gym and I will hit the core and a few other things, may bump the weight on bulgarians and start using the leg press now to keep my leg strength up. Can't wait

I hadn't logged in a while because the workout i was doing were all rehab for my back. Right now it feels great so I am planning on keeping it that way. Cheers people.

I take it your back injury has recovered then?

Mostly but I still can't do squats because of the downward pressure on the back. However the bulgarian split squats should keep me in prime shape :D and the RDL's will take care of my rear end :D

Egads! Yer back posting workouts and I missed it and Mreik is putting his ultra cool charm in the mix. :p

Glad to hear yer back is getting better. Have you picked up a foam roller yet?
