I started my menses!!!!!!!! No wonder I wasn't losing. You know that shouldn't have been surprising as I always try to lose weight when I'm about to start my period.

Of course I was thrilled to weigh in. Period is slowly and surely coming. I am sore from yoga, my shoulder, right hamstring and bilateral calves. After breakfast, I thought I'd sit down and write this post, but why not walk, even in home slippers, at this seemingly decent pace? Make good choices without rethinking things.

Today was a relaxing day....spent most of it in bed and did clean my bathroom.

I'm watching eternal sunshine of a spotless mind, found out that Kate Winslet js in it. Game overeat. Love it.

Signing up for a 12k to do in may. Did it last year, finished it 1:59, my goal this year is 1:15.

I can't believe I've lasted12 days, and I those 12 days, I've had alcohol, greasy Chinese, Mexican, pizza, and chili. It apparently boils down to portion size.
This is a lifestyle change. I'm craving big portions, but I think it's the feelings I get after I eat a lot. Not good feelings. I guess I'm not used to feeling g good, happy, without food affecting my mood. I need to learn to love myself more. Why cause myself humiliation and pain? Looking at yelp reviews already feel wrong.

I keep waking up so late for work lol. I work 3 blocks away, but have my brother dropped off. No time to grab fruit this morning.

I've been accepted to a podiatry program, but missing a letter of rec from the podiatrist I shadowed. I emailed him yesterday and he hasn't responded. Gr....I don't have time to shadow another podiatrist and request a LOR. I'll give until Friday and then start my search. Sucks.

Still having a period, gosh never take it for granted lol! I do not have an ounce of heel pain, but no exercise tonight as I will be working the hospital tomorrow. I'm on my feet a lot at the hospital. So I'll weigh in the day after tomorrow. I know I'm doing everything right so I should expect a decrease.

I might ask my mom to go on a walk with me after she gets off work. My is in her feet all day, but I think she needs to do a bit more exercise a day, she has some belly fat going on. 15min tonight sounds good.

Portion size is a big thing but nutrients are critical too, but as far as I'm concerned you're doing fine there too.

As a dude I have it a little lucky as I have a few more calories to play with. Keep up the good work.

So tomorrow for breakfast, I think I''ll eat beans, salsa Then for lunch, maybe.....banana and eggs and cheese...craps no idea. I will eat ice cream as snack tho in the afternoon...

If my heel feels fine tomorrow after work, I'll do a 2mile run on the treadmill and then immediately ice my heel. I'll definitely will be ready for a weigh in on Friday morning. Let's see 197! I'll probably yoga again Friday night...I only got 6passes left...I think.

I'm on a massage chair with a face mask, I got the good life.

If you are feeling overly hungry, I think you may be overdoing your diet - such negative feelings will get to you eventually, and may cause you to binge (and with that damage your diet). It may be better to start eating slightly larger portions of vegetables to fill up, or eat a healthy snack every now and then.
 
^ good point mrxian. I think I need to eat smaller meals. The idea of eating cottage cheese and oatmeal does not sound appetizing as of right now. A good carne asada burrito sounds so good, with some green salsa please...por favor..

Anyways, made it last night after looking at yelp reviews. Gosh, it's called food PORN for a reason.

Surprised by that, only because I went to bed starving. You guys, I have addiction to porn. Food porn. Yelp reviews, PDF menus, Italian, Mexican, Chinese, American...mmmmmmm fried chicken and waffle with a double cheese burger and steak fries?! No no noooo... I think I need to lay off the computer when I try to fall asleep, it actually distracts me, duh.

It's been somewhat easy eating around 1,200 (until that night time!)but I guess it's totally worth it! Eating around 1,500-1,200 (approximating) makes me constantly losing without exercising...but in terms of my strength and cardiovascular health, I definitely need to do some moderate exercise everyday. I'll make that an attainable goal.

If I can last 30 days on this lifestyle change without binging...it would be a miracle and the reality of things...Whether I lose 5 or 10 pounds...making healthy lifestyle changes a sticky habit would be wonderful. I don't agree with the idea of cheat meals because my current state of thinking is that portion control overrules everything, especially the emotional aspect of losing weight. I can't feel deprived or else I'll be really sad. So I'm not going to plan a cheat meal "when I lose 15,20,30 pounds" because I should and will still eat a cheeseburger, but only eat half or so.

I did try to eat steamed broccoli this morning, but it was NOT going down at all. Pretty gross because it wasn't freshly steamed.

I feel like I'm making better choices, but need to remain patient!!!

I didn't go to work today. I took my brother to a doctor's visit. He hasn't seen a doc in like 3-4 years, with history of hypertension, diabetes, and high cholesterol. Doc said he's a ticking time bomb w/ a BP of 220/110. He needed the wake up call.

I ate 9,100 calories (+/- 500 calories) the past 7 days. WOW! Not bad at all, I think!

Last week, I was at 202-201 and today I saw 198. Feeling good.
Next week, hoping to see 195! Let's go!

I definitely ate dinner, thank GOD no more dduk bok ki in this house! I definitely need to eat more veggies, I'll try that for tomorrow. :)

For the rest of the night, i'll drink 2 cups of water and go to bed.

I hope for 197 on Wed AM and 195 Fri AM by eating plenty of fruit and a salad each day.
