I will be skinny again!!!

Put up and took down my tent today, took it down on my own and was sweating and out of breath when I finished, so it must have done something.
Was going to be having a water fight which would have meant running around but it didn't happen. Although I did run around for a good ten minutes with my little sister the other day having a water fight.

Loving this warm weather :)
 
Breakfast Beans, fried (in nothing) eggs and yoghurt.
Lunch None
Tea Homemade curry, chicken, low fat sauce, small naan
Snacks Curly wurly and 3/4 packet of chocolate raisins.

Going shopping in town for some new jeans for work. Blue and smart.. and well fitting, and I have no money. Should be fun! But hey it's a bit of exercise, and you never know I might be able to get a 16!! Fingers crossed.

Went shopping :) I bought one pair of jeans, in a 16 :)
They fasten, they're not comfortable yet but they will be!
Bought a scale for at Martin's, a pedometer, a skipping rope, lips party classics and some food stuff.

I got some avocados.. What they like? And ideas what to do with them?
 
Well, my offical decision on avocados is... They are awful! Bleurgh.

Gutted, I really wanted to like them lol.

I decided, that since I have been really good for so long and I haven't had an chocolate, that I would treat myself tonight.
I bought a curly wurly, and it was amazing! Haven't had one in like years, I'd forgotten how nice they were, and I shared a bag of chocolate raisins with my boyfriend.

Plus I had loads of spare calories, so I probably only went over a little bit if at all.

And I bought a skipping rope today so I've been skipping and showing off to my boyfriend earlier, so I probaly burnt some calories there.

Feeling good despite my "binge" on chocolate :p
 
Keep up the good work! Try not to be so hard on yourself when you have a treat. Everyone needs one now and then. I try to give myself one day a week were I don't worry about what I eat, I don't binge, but will indulge with pizza or chocolate. Before you know it those size 16 will be baggy.
 
So I woke up at 10:30am today, went to the loo and thought, I'll just go back to bed for half an hour...
4 hours later I woke up!! Not good!

So far today I've onl eaten, breakfast, or is it lunch??

Breakfast Strawberries in yoghurt
Lunch None due to time of breakfast
Tea Beef lasagne, sweetcorn, peas with a little bit of extra cheese on the lasagne.
Snacks A couple of Maoam
Supper One and a half chicken breasts, baked in a sweet chilli sauce. Was delicious if a little hot for me, plus the sauce had a million carbs in! But I barely ate any of it so it's not too bad.

Eeek, fitday says I've only had 133 calories so far.
Didn't realise breakfast was so low!
Will go make tea now and have it earlier so I make sure I eat enough today. It takes like 45 minutes to cook though, so might fry an egg or something to put me on.

My calories are still well under 1000 so far even after tea.
Need some ideas for high protein, low fat snacks I can have later on?
 
Off to the shop now, going to get something, maybe some chicken and a dip, high in protein low in fat if I bake it, which means I'll need some tin foil..

Ooh and some bin liners.
Gah, I get a little bit of money and I spend it!!
 
Just had a bit of a wake up call..
I didn't realise I was so unhealthy/fat/greedy.

Yesterday I ate an entire packet of chocolate covered raisins, and a curly wurly. And ended the day on a defecit still.
Now I'm making healthier decisions food wise, and weighing portions, not to mention not feeling like I have to empty my plate every time, I'm finding it hard to eat the number of calories my body supposedly burns every day.
I must have eaten so so badly to get to where I am now.
It's really odd.

I'm completely full now, and at apparently 1600 defecit. Even including the sweets I ate earlier.
My body burns 2700ish just by living, although now I'm waiting to start my new job I'm not on my feet as much but it won't be much less than that.

I dunno..
Bit shocking really.
Especially as I'm happy with what and how much I'm eating, and I'm always full, and I feel better knowing I'm eating good.
Being on here helps too, as I have a "purpose" as such.
I'm being watched by you lot, so I have to be good, and when I'm not I have to own up to it.
I feel like I'll never leave at the moment.

Even my boyfriend is eating slightly healthier.

Hmmmm.. Odd comtemplative mood at the moment, think I'm going to go to bed, will weigh myself in the morning when I get up because I have new scales, and I was 204 the other morning.
And I don't want to go up again.
Have been drinking lots of water though, well, sugar free squash.
More than usual. In fact I'm going to have another pint before bed.

So, I've been up 20 minutes and I'm already not having a good day.
Got on the scales, albeit it new, cheap and manual ones, not my nice shiny digital ones from home, and apparently I'm at about 207.

Which personally I'd say is impossible.
I've been eating an average of 1200-1300cals a day, going over the RDA for protein but under for fats and carbs.
I've done loads of walking on one of those days, and some skipping.
I'm going to have a look at recalculating my BMR, now that I'm not working for a week, maybe I'm eating too much, maybe too little.
I dunno.
 
Maybe your scales are just wrong? And weighing yourself every day (if that is what you are doing?) works for some people but I know that I'll weigh myself one day and be 5 pounds down from the previous day, eat well, weigh myself the next day and be up 2 pounds! Water weight, being on your period, stress, and lots of other things can cause you to fluctuate. I'd stick with once a week!!

I've been on for best part of 2 weeks now, first one in almost a year after coming off the pill and getting the implant 2 month ago. My body officially hates me I think.
And they are cheap scales.

Breakfast Beans, eggs, mushrooms and two pears
Lunch 6 inch Turkey sub on wheat with salad, cheese but no sauce.
Tea Chicken breast with rice in spices. Nice and hot and I only ate half of it!
Snacks Prawns in chilli sauce with mozzarella

Decided to up my calories a bit see if it makes any difference.
Probably go up to about 1800 seen as though they (being fitday and daily plate) reckon I use almost 3000 a day anyway!

I finished today on almost 1000 defecit, ate just over 1800 cals, feeling really full, and had probably waaaaay to much protein today, but needed it because my fat was high.

Hiya Ruth. Just a quick drive by to say g'day. I think you are very wise to up your calories a little. It will be interesting to see what happens as a result. ;)
 
I'm hopeful, as I'm upping my exercise a little too.
Going to get of the train a stop early and walk home from there. Used to take about 30mins, but I did it in 20 including a stop at the post office to post something, the other day.
This morning my cheap scales say about 14 10, which is 206 I think off the top of my head. I'm not changing it though because I kinda think it's my scales.
I'm going to save up and buy the same one I have at home.
 
I need new scales :( I get weighed at Weight Watchers every week and their scales are amazing, but mine are just cheap shitty ones and make me thinner than I really am :(
 
I hated the weight watchers ones with a passion!
Although that might have something to do with the women who manned them!

They were always like, "oh it's only a pound this week, do you know why?"
And they weren't even leaders!!

Then if you put on, they were awful, the most patronising people ever!

Did you know they used to weigh in quarter pounds years go instead? Apparently it was much better because a quarter pound loss made the women (and sometimes men) feel better than staying the same.

Breakfast I know it's almost lunch time so I think I will have yesterdays left over spicy chicken and rice. Protein and carbs, with a kick to give my metabolism a boot up the arse!
Lunch Caramel Light Frappuccino, Venti! :( Not too bad but not good as I was then full and didn't eat for a while.
Tea Turkey and Ham salad from subway. Lettuce, cucumber, tomatoes, pepper, carrot and sweetcorn, with ranch, which is very nice :)
Supper Poached fish, instant mash and peas.
Snacks None, I resisted at the cinema, although now my calories are stupidly low for today! Ooh I forgot, I had a yoghurt before tea..

What film are you going to see?? You should take a pack of mints or something to eat instead of the sweeties! And a big bottle of water!!
