I agree, it is a business that is why i politely declined and I was on my way. I think the one thing that will make you lose weight is DETERMINATION.

Oh yessss that feeling is not one I get too often and to look in the mirror and FINALLY feel good about the clothes I see on myself...that feeling no money can buy. I try to eat fruit, in all honesty I am so not a vegetable lover, I eat them but not by choice more like by force lol :svengo: . I love bananas or yogurts, Ill eat one of those with like 2 big glasses of water and then I know for a fact that I have given my body plenty of nutrition until lunch or dinner time whatever meal is next so if im thinking about food it would be just those stupid cravings so then I just say NOPE and move on.

I couldnt be more happier with my progress. 24lbs so far to me that is pretty cool, of course it's only the beginning.
My goal for this week is to kick it up with the gym, I want to be there at least 4 days this week and giving it all, kickin some serious sweat.
April is a month away basically, so I have a month left to lose 16lbs which I am going to work so hard in march to do. I just have to meet my goal of 240lbs by april and I think it's time to start changing things up and make things more harder and out of the ordinary, get this body working hard again get it out of its comfort zone.
I went to the gym yesterday :) 40min of cardio then 20min of weights.
My saturday was pretty boring, stayed in this weekend, I didnt have dinner on time, I ended up getting so hungry by 9pm that I was feeling sick...so I had subway, too much...I felt the food inside me still the next morning. YUK! never doing that again lol.
This morning was crappy....I had to wake up at 7am to go pick up a friend from the airport, stopped at mcdonalds got coffee and a egg mcmuffin without the meat and a hashbrown with water, didnt eat next until now. I had some kind of yummi vegetable/potato/peas/meat stew and then a banana too coz I was sooo hungryyy.
Now Im dead tired.....I am not going ANYWHERE lol besides gym is closed lmao :D
Today is my weigh-in :) I shall update later when this food is digested so I shall update tonight yayyy....
I was 258 my wish would be to be 254 or 255

I am having a sucky week so far.
No motivation to go to the gym, Ive been feeling really tired and down. Nutrition wise I am good, keeping up with the cals, watching things but the gym thing for the past few days has just been ugh...after work its like all i wanna do is just, sit. I am thinking about going to the gym but really, i dont want to, I want to curl up in my bed put on a movie and relaxxxxxxxxxxx.
 
You're not a failure or victum of your body because I've met you before. Not literally but in terms of your medical issues and a fitness hopeful seeking weight loss with a flawed approach.

The diet hasn't work and will never work because diets induces cravings (chololate, pizza, LOL..), make people fatter by slowing down metabolism, and metabolism involves eating "supportive meals" frequently to lose weight PERMANENTLY.

I've never met any1 who couldn't lose weight permanently, however i meet lots of well-intention folks trying to reshape their bodies using flawed approaches due to misinformation.

Have you ever make the mistake of doing cardio prior to weight-lifting?

Good job on doing well on the nutrition part. Something is better than nothing, right?

On days I have to workout after work, I have to go to work prepared. I know if I come home after work, I will be SOOOOOOO tempted to just stay at home and watch TV and just relax. So I plan ahead by taking my gym clothes, protein shake, etc. with me. I'll change into my gym clothes at work and then I drive straight to the gym. I don't even come home because I KNOW I'll be tempted to just stay home. So maybe you can try doing this so that way you'll get into the gym?

Fatburner, I actally always do cardio then weights. Is that wrong :( ?


I went to the gym on thursday, had a really good workout but sadly I did injure my back muscle, to the point where I had to take advil at work to reduce the pain. I wasnt able to be in one position for too long it was becoming quiet unbarable. It was probably from overdoing the weights at one of the machines that works the lowerback muscles.
I was looking foraward to going to the gym so bad but sadly I was not able to :(
I am going this morning tho :):):) Gotta do some quick cleaning and then I'm off.
I've been doing sooooooo good eating wise this week, better than last. Almost no cravings. I felt like when I ate, I couldnt wait just to be done eating so I can get on with my day where as before I couldnt wait to eat and hated when the plate was getting emptier and emptier. I tried on these jeans yesterday that were freshly washed and they were very loose where as before freshly washed jeans were tight on me and it made my tummy all hang over them making rolls,yesterday NOTHING :) nice and loose and I think I need new jeans because I had to hold them up....I dont own a belt for obvious reasons lmao but I think Im gonna have to get one now :D

My one BIG goal is to not buy any clothing until Ive lost a lot to the point I really cant be seen in my overly baggie clothes. Whats the poing of buying? when in a few months it'll all just be history.

Is this really happening???? Am I really doing it???? I just want to cry.
I went to this private party yesterday that had a musician play so it was nice, a dinner, drinks, music and many many familiar family friends, old and young people combined. And I am happy to say that almost every single person complimented me or asked me "oh wow did you lose weight?" and one lady even said "wow you look taller now" lol maybe it was my heels but nontheless I felt so good about myself and confident.
I liked almost every picture that was taken of me where as before I'd hide from a camera. YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Wow 28lbs! I did so good this week tho, I tried to watch my poritions, def did not eat anything late and I excercised :) Next saturday I am getting some blood work done for my doctor, you kno the usual he wants to check me out again and see if my tests will be better this time around then last.

I hope everyone here had a nice and relaxing weekend :)

I went to the gym today, did lots of cardio and some weights. It wasn't easy to go because I was already tired from my 8 hr work shift but I haven't gone since monday so I forced myself to go and I am doing the same tomorrow.
Food diary for today:
Brkfst - Whole wheat pita, roast beef deli meat, 1tbs of ranch and some mozerella cheese(fresh), made a wrap.
Snack-Nutri ??Raspberry bar
Lunch - Left over green bean potato stew from yesterday and a small yogurt after
Dinner - homemade potato wedges with some ketchup to dip and then a stake, small portion.
Snack-4 strawberries and a banana

I felt so thirsty at the gym so I knew then that my body is probably dehydrated because ever tho I had water i felt like i could drink a lake. Im so tired im off to beeedddd...have a good night yall.

Gym tomrrow yay <3
 
bummed out! Was in my car about to head to the gym when I noticed my breaks were being funny almost as if they were giving out; I wasn't gonna risk anything so I decided to stay home. Im getting the breaks checked/replaced tomorrow morn and then heading straight to the gym. Other than that I had a good day.

brkfst-special K vanilla almond cereal with a banana and 2%milk and a danone creamy yogrt
Lunch-grilled chicken garden salad with light italian dressing then raw strawberry halves with silhouette strawberry yogurt (35cal per 100g) and tasty :)
snack-whole wheat bun w real cheddar cheese slice light mayo ketchup onions lettce tomato
dinner-white spiral pasta w groundbeef n tomato sauce
big cheat of the day is my applecrips/strawberry mcflurry :S
Ill work it offf :)

Went to the gym yesterday, dont know if i mentioned that I had such a good work out that all my leg and arm muscles are aching I got my self massager out, ima try to get some of the pain out with it.

Well 2lbs is good I guess, I wasn't expecting more because I only hit the gym twice this week but my eating was good. I am not proud of my eating this weekend tho.
I went a little crazy on saturday with the pasta and then the late night chickenwrap after hitting downtown and some clubs but I guess the dancing did some burning of calories but today (sunday) was even crazier. Let's just say I went chocolate chip cookie nuts, I had like 9 but within a 2 hour time frame but still...wtf dude?? What really throws me off is the weekends. I wake up really early for work, it creates a good schedule for me. I wake up, eat brkfst and then lnch at wrk then dinner at home, some snacks and boom done. But the weekends I wake up later, miss brkfst, I wont have my first meal of the day till like 3pm, then I'll have a big lunch around 5pm, Id feel full and tell myself no more for the day and then im starving at 11pm, like right now, it's 1am and I am a monster. I hate and love my weekends ,GRRR!
Anywho I cannot wait for this week to start. I am so looking forward to the gym tomorrow, the car is fixed :D so Im gonna be making myself feel much better at the gym tomorrow. I want to achieve a over 3lb lost this week, thats my goal. 240lbs is only 10lbs away....I HAVE TO MAKE IT NO MATTER WHAT!
 
Totally killed it at the gym today.
I have reached my goal of running for 20min straight and it felt amazing and I cannot believe I did it. I did 20min of the elliptical too then weights and lots of situps and butt crunches. Slowly but surly it's all melting away :) Iam feeling better today because I decided not to have dinner after work but rather I showered changed into my work out clothes n went to the gym I had dinner when I came home at 9pm, yes it is late for dinner but I didnt have any before. To be honest when I eat then go excercise I feel so heavy and weird inside. Maybe I just need to suck it up.
I am hoping to make it to the gym tomorrow :) I do have plans but if they dont happen the gym is :)

Am sick today :( woke up with a headache a stuffed and runny nose with watery eyes. Got barely thru work I dont think I'll last long at the gym so here I am in my bed taking it easy. Had my dinner (stuffed cabbage leafs) then a nutribar and I dont think I had enough because I am still hungry so perhaps in a bit ill make myself some soup and have that.

I love how you track your progress on here...

I'm currently at 265... and would love just to be able to start seeing those numbers begin lowering...

I've read up on the mini workout theory going around out there and have decided that it may make more sense to me.

I'm working on devising mini music playlists for the workouts... music has helped me a lot in the past...

My problem is a "rather disgusting" lack of motivation and I've been scolding myself for it everytime I think about it... it shouldn't be this hard for me to get up and do something throughout the day... I have plenty of time for it.

So I'll be reaching for 5 15 minute workouts spread throughout the course of a day... at the least 5 10 minute sessions... of course 15 minutes being the goal for each one.

I Just wanted to let you know though that the way you've tracked your progress and the results shown are very inspiring to say the least...

Nutrition is the bigger part of it, I realize, and I need to set myself a stopping point to end my nightly snacking routines... like say no food after 6 o'clock or such like that...

Your well on your way to your goal!!! Congrat's! ;-)
