i have to finish what i've started part 2

So this morning I got up at 5 and it was nice and cool. I was very excited to go walking in cool weather!! Then, around 7, the rain started. Not just any rain... horribley hard and thick rain. It's raining so hard out outside right now I can't see across the street. hahaha I took Banjo to go out to the bathroom and he started to cry. I felt so bad but he had to go! Now there is lightening and thunder which makes Banjo and both my cats very nervous. Banjo is following me around crying wanting me to hold him... he is on my lap as I type (he's 50 lbs!!). So there will be no walking for me today!! I am just going to do some sort of video. Hope it clears up tomorrow! :)

I hear you on the BUTT!!! Unfortenly I have no butt either. A small one, Wish I had a BIG one !!!! It sucks when I go but Pants. Cause It is hard to find a pant size to fit and compliment waht I have. Either to loose and to tight on my tummy or to tight on my tummy and to loose in the BUTT.. i could never win:mad: At leats my Chest make up for it:p

Well I had a chest... about 40 lbs ago! It too is disappearing!!! haha! Oh well, I think that being thin will make up for my lack of butt and chest... there's always push-up bras!! :)

I love the rain too! I just don't love trying to get my dog to go outside and use the bathroom!! haha.

So I looked through a bunch of old pictures on my computer and I compiled a group of pictures of me through my weight loss. I am going to take one today because the last one I have was 20 lbs ago. I probably won't post them but it's nice for me to look at anyway. I don't see much of a difference but then again I don't have any pics from when I was 320! :)
 
So I checked my BMI on one of those calculators and I decided to change my goal weight by 10 lbs in order to have the ideal weight for my height. Oh well... what's 10 more lbs after what i've lost. Anyway, I didn't make it until tomorrow to weigh myself so now I'm down to 220 which means I met my August goal AND I'm only one lb away from being in the 2 teens! haha. I'm happy I lost any weight at all since I last weighed myself because I've been doing so much weight training! :)
 
Great progress you've made! And regarding the weight training, it's really difficult to increase muscle mass and reduce body fat at the same time. Some even say it's impossible... The main point of weight training during dieting is to maintain the existing muscle mass, i.e. make the body get the extra energy it needs from burning fat instead of burning muscle. That's why bodybuilders have their mass-gaining periods and fat-burning periods separately, although I hate to think about the substances some bodybuilders use. You know, steroids, hormones and suchlike. No doping control in that sport.
 
Stupid weight training!! :( Oh well, at least my body will look toned when I am done and then I won't care because I look awesome... haha

So the weather cleared up and I walked 4 miles last night. My legs are really sore today but my feet hurt the most! I am going to buy walking shoes this weekend. My left foot has a blister the size of a quarter on it!! Oh well, I know new shoes won't really make much of a difference at first but in the end my feet will thank me! :) Weather doesn't seem bad today so I will probably go out in a couple of hours and do my walking!
 
So I went out this morning and exercised:

walked 5 miles
stationary bike 30 min
weight training 60 min

my body is so sore. I think I may have pushed myself a little far today. Next week I think I am going to take it down a little. My mother in law found a new route to try out today so that we would get in 5 miles. It was killer!! So many hills!! They just kept getting bigger and bigger!!! Then when you thought you were done there were more! :) I hate her but I love her haha.
 
oh! I just realized that over the past 3 years I've lost 100 pounds!!!! I was thinking about that today and it really psyched me up to keep going! I know 3 years is a long time but I lost all this weight the healthy way and it will never come back!! :)
 
I mean to ask but I kept forgetting... Whenever I walk a lot I get bruises on my legs and I'm not sure why. When I was in 7th grade I dislocated my knee and it never quite healed. Now when i walk all around my knee and down my leg I get brown bruises. Does anyone know why??
 
Starting the weeekend... giong to try really hard not to stray from my diet so I can get into the 2 teens!!!
 
Alright... Saturday morning! I am very motivated now that I've realized my hundred pound loss! I think that Danny may have even been a little more excited than i was! haha. I got some new workout shoes yesterday and they seem really comfortable. I am going to wear them all weekend to try and break them in before Monday workouts!

wow a hundred pounds off thats just cool. six miles thats huge, thats a long way if you think about it. I really need to start walking but the skeeters will carry me off. Maybe a few laps around the walmart would be the option lol...
