I Know, an I am learning to just ignore the negative idiots ;)

Well this week has been crap.. haven't lost any weight, and I have been good with doing some aerobics at home, walking every day etc.. bit disappointing.. but meh.. I know it goes this way sometimes for everyone :) Pretty sure I am retaining water at the moment for some reason, the legs are puffy this week :(

LOL very very true!!!! :smilielol5:

God.. think I am going for a pooping record today.... 3 so far :reddevil: LOL wonder if I will lose weight tomorrow morning :p

The subject of sabotage is one that seems to repeat over and over...

Sometimes I wonder if its just because people aren't comfortable when someone is no longer the "fat friend". Whatever, you do this for you and its nobody's business.

I like that I'm losing, but I've gone up and down so many times... I always hate it when someone says " wow, how much have you lost so far?"

None of your F'ing business!

Sorry for ranting...

Sorry for not coming over as much either, I've been kinda busy lately.

I have not experienced this at all. Everyone that I have told has been incredibly supportive (so far). My coworkers all know, the lady who cleans our office on the weekends checks in to see how I'm progressing, and on weigh-in days I post my progress on facebook for my friends to see.
I don't have any problem sharing my process and progress with others, and I can't imagine anyone trying to sabotage me (other than myself).

However...
I do remember in my youth what it was like to be the "fat friend". Heck, one group of girls I used to hang out with even replaced me with another fat guy when I moved on from them.

I can imagine people not wanting you to leave the nice little box they have fit you into. Making big lifestyle changes can perhaps make others uncomfortable.

As for this forum, I agree that it is an incredibly useful place.
It's one thing to get compliments from your friends, but the support we get from our peers here is invaluable. There is stuff that only people who are going through the same process we are can really, truly understand. I get the kind of support and understanding here that I just can't get anywhere else. Other people just say "wow, that's great" - you folks here know what each success, milestone, and stumble really means.

Just remember - we may be overweight, but they're A-holes.

We can lose weight, they will remain A-holes :D

Hey Kori!! Just thought I would drop in see whats happening in your world?!?!?I just have to totally agree with Karl here!!:iagree:We can lose this weight if we really want to, what are they going to do??Stop being an Ahole?? UNLIKELY!!!
I read no weightloss this week, sweety, chin up!! I have been stuck in that spot for a while now but my body seems to be morphing still! We can do this!!:hurray:

Hey MsY! and KC and Karl, and anyone else I missed! I have been offline for 4 days as we had visitors.. been eating and drinking too much LOL but somehow still managed to lose some weight!!! :D I haven't weighed myself today, and won't until later in the week though, but feeling great at the moment, literally never felt better! I have so much energy, and feel really "light" and like it is really happening now (if you know what I mean)

Not sure what is going on, but I like it!!!!!!

Hope everyone has been doing great!!!! :D

That is a great feeling isn't it? Thanks for coming in to my place. I've got a good thing going overall, but need a little friendship now and again :hug2:

Well it has been a crazy week, the weather here has been very cold (well in our terms anyway!!!) and I have wanted to eat and eat and eat carb carb carb ... all week >_< I have had between 3000 (Home made Chinese Feast whilst entertaining guests >_< ) and 2300 per day, both food and alcohol... but weirdly I have not put on any weight *touches wood* just maintained.

Still feeling good though, the knee is really starting to heal up now, I can only really feel it being twingey when I walk up steps or put my weight on that leg alone, so hopefully it will keep on improving.

Home made pizza night tonight mmmmmm :D only 150 per slice so not too bad! I am sure I will have a few drinkies though hehehe

LOL very very true!!!! :smilielol5:

God.. think I am going for a pooping record today.... 3 so far :reddevil: LOL wonder if I will lose weight tomorrow morning :p

Good stuff! I did too!!! Whooopy! :sifone::leaving:

A normal meal must be like what? 800-1000 cals..because I was reading the other day in this "Chatelaine Magazine" whatever it's called, diet and Healthy stuff, pretty good mag I would say. Even their Low-Cal Meals are tinsie tiny and about 350-600 cals.....One of my own meals is usually 300-350 cals, and usually is still too much of a portion...so I must just be looney.

150 cals/ pizza, sounds good.:seeya:

naww.. my normal meals are between 300 - 500 just this last week I have been STARVING all the time, and having visitors for the first half of the week, just ate and ate and ate and still doing it !!! lol

Because I am pretty big my maintainance is 2600 so I only went over that once this week, hence why I haven't actually put on any weight dispite being a naughty little piggie all week :piggy:

Will get back on track next week. if it is not so cold here LOL mind you you Canadians would laugh at what we find cold :p

OK this is just freaky weird.. I just weighed myself and I am down a full KG 2.2 pounds from yesterday :svengo:

Maybe I have been eating too few cals previously and I should be eating around 2000 :ack2:

Or myabe this was just a freaky deaky weird week weight loss wise.

Hello Kori,
Oh I love how that happens!! 2.2 pounds down BOOYA!! It's like plateau plateau, and than BOOM you drop, I guess you're body needed some shake and bake with the extra eating? IDK ;) Awesome!!

Just the diary I needed to see today too!! I just bought this Traditional Greek Style Yogurt, and it has no Nutritional Info on it, I bought it from this little Greek Convience store that I just adore. I thought this Greek Plain Yogurt is supposed to be really good for you, blah blah blah, so I thought I'd give'er a shot!

This is what it says on it, "Traditional Greek Style Pressed Yogurt", Modified Milk Ingredients & Bacterial Culture. 15% M.F.

I looked up greek yogurt on daily plate, it's anywhere from 80 cals - 180 cals per 100 grams...WoW so I stuck it at 200 just to be safe. I went around to look for what M.F. means and I still am not entirely sure, but so far I have found this;

Remember that lower-fat milk (skim, 1% or 2%), lower-fat yogurt (2% MF or less) and lower-fat block cheese (15-20% MF) make great additions to any meal!

UH OH. How many cals does that mean? It means it's waaay high in fat doesn't it? Booo *kicks the rock* Should I eat it or give it away to my dad?

Haha What's cold there? IDK cuz a couple of years ago when we were in Scottsdale Arizona in January the mornings were colder at that particular time then they were here. You could see your breath and icicles in FREAKIN Arizona!!! Alaska is a much colder STATE ..ahem... than most of Canada...hee heee ;) But yes since we live in igloo's and all, I almost had to pull up the dog team this morning! :D What a Brat? "I KNOW RIGHT!?!?!" :D

Greek Yoghurt is devine! Eat it, but only in small batches with fruit, or with a little honey and chopped up almonds Mmmmmmmmmmmm

The calories would be approximately 145 per 100gms it is very rich and dense so you won't need much per serve :)

and LOL about the cold :p I know not all of Canada is freezing all the time - but I bet those igloos get a bit breezy in Winter :p hehehee

My idea of cold is 1-3C in the mornings raising to a high of 14 - which is what it has been all week.. brrrrrrrrrr Our houses are not built for the cold, we rarely have central heating of any kind, our house doesn't - so are relying on small heaters or our one reverse cycle air conditioner to warm our house.
