I don't like the cookies, the cookies like me!

Hey, thanks spelin01, those look cool. i don't have fitTV, but I'm gonna keep and eye out for those on Ebay. I have a couple Dolhpina DVD's, but you don't get a really good cardio with them. But once you know the moves, you can dance on your own.
I was good today. I had bran cereal. Then stir fry for lunch, an apple when I got home, and chop suey (veggie beef, macorini, and tomato soup).
I'm noticing that I don't want to die when my alarm goes off in the morning. I seem to have more energy. I'm not depressed or anything, i'm just sooooo not a morning person. But yeah, so much more energy. And I still have to work out.
I think I'll start working out tomorrow, when I get home from work.
Tomorrow will be a week without me eating sweets!!! I can't believe I've gone this long!!!
I so want to have a nice bum someday. Yeah! :eek:
 
You will have a very nice bum one day!!! You just keep it up. And now that you're starting to reap some rewards (like having more energy in the mornings, and going a week without sweets) it will help keep you focused and motivated.

You are doing awesome!!!

A whole week - that's awesome! They say it only takes 30 days to completely change a habit - and you are well on your way. Keep it up!

Yesterday, I was happy with my eating AND I walked for 1 hour. I did nearly die, as I had NO coffee all day. Uuug. And I did 20 crunches!!!:D
Today, I did the same as yesterday, Special K (ick, I want pancakes!!!), and a can of beans for lunch, and a tofurky sandwich when I got home. I'm having some greens and a soy burger later (no bun).
I walked for 40 minutes today, and I did lot of running up ladders and moving boxes at work today, I will count this too! I was really sweaty!:p
Ok, i've got to go see how everyone else is doing.
And I'm drinking my water. I've done my quota the last few days.:D

Yeah, you've gotta count those heavy lifting days. I worked cleaning the garage yesterday, and you bet it counted! :D
 
Isn't it a nice feeling to go to sleep knowing that you made healthy food choices all day long and you got your heart pumping and your body moving through exercise. Putting your head on the pillow every night and knowing that you've accompished something positive for yourself is empowering!!!

You keep it up, honey!!! You're doing great!!! :)

Hey! I lost 8 pounds!!!!!!!! Ok, I know a lot was water weight, but it feels really good to see the slider move!!!

Yesterday, I had Special K, the a tofyrky wrap, an apple and a banana. Then for supper, 2 slices of pizza with 2/3 a block of soy cheese. And a pop. My treat. And all my water.

Today, I had special K, 2 apples and 1 big helping of taco salad. I'd been planning to have it all week as a treat. I had it with baked chips and 1 block of soy cheese. Sooooo good. And I had 1/2 pop. No more sweets till next weekend!:p

You guys are sooooo awesome, I'll be here tomorrow to check in on you.
And, yes, I drank all my water!!! :D
 
Eight pounds is GREAT!!!!! And that ticker is going to keep sliding, sliding, sliding!!!! So proud of you!!!

Keep it up, you are doing wonderful :)

I did ok today. I had the Special K, 2 apples, a veggie wrap, some air popped pop corn and a currie. And I worked out!!! Finally, did the Kathy Smith step buns & thighs. :p

Working on the buns now.:rolleyes: Have a good night, I'm drinking my water... :D
