Congratulations on 3 lbs gone!! I finally gave in and got a scale this summer. Helps me tremendously.

I also just got a small food scale to help me with portion sizes; I think that's my biggest downfall.

I went to the weightloss center today aaaannnnnnnnnnddddd I lost 2.6 pounds officially. :) Since I seem to be teeter-tottering, they changed me to a gold plan. Smaller protien portions (about 2 oz. less) and one less veggie a day. I can't complain about that! :D I always have a hard time getting in all of my veggies anyway!

Otherwise, work is going good. We're finally busy again since students are beginning to come back to this college town. :) Makes time go by quicker which is always great.

Well, time to get on with my resolution that I stole from one of you guys...exercize daily no matter what. I actually took my dog for a walk earlier, but it wasn't far or for long, so it doesn't count, I can't cheat like that!! Ok ok, after the dog whisperer is off I will go....:D
 
wow good for you quitting. Sometimes its easier to just quit and move on than put up with other peoples crap.

Haha, I don't go anywhere...I have videos that I do! This way I can make all of the funny faces that I need to and don't have to pay to watch other people watch me and smirk :p haha.
 
Way to go with the 3 pounds! I hope all is going well :) The weightloss center sounds like a great idea.
 
Ok, so that rnw doesn't come get me, I walked my booty off this morning! My thighs were kinda sore from last night's workout, but I went walking anyway. I weighed myself before I went (before food, makeup, and shoes) and I weighed 178.4. I started an excel file for my daily morning weight and to keep track of all the exercising I do and miles I walk. Maybe I'll set a mileage goal for January? Hmm....something to think about! :)

I drug my dog with me at 9am this morning to Troy University's campus (where I go to school) and walked 2.072 miles (according to my pedometer thingy...) in 45 minutes complete with loads of hills and steps! Ugh, tough walk, but I feel so much better now that I've done something! According to my thingy I burned 135 calories??? Good stuff....

So I went to work and ran a few errands to get us in good shape for the new year (change and a few items from walmart). I have to go in tonight, but until then, I need to clean the house! That'll burn a little more ;)
 
Oh, btw, does anybody have a recipe for healthier pancakes????? I love pancakes and have them once in a blue moon, but I'd like to have the healthiest possible. I tried the wheat ones, but i don't really care for them! If anybody has any suggestions, let me know!!! Since they changed my diet, I can have pancakes once a week, homemade with water? I dunno, I'm not a cook...I always buy them in a box! haha.

I just buy packet stuff or make my own regular ones. pancakes are pretty low fat and healthy. I usually leave out the butter in any recipe though, and just cook them with a smithering of butter.
If i were you i would watch out for the toppings more than anything :D

I'm going to try the cornmeal pancakes, the problem is they really don't give the calories so I'll have to figure it out for myself.

I also agree with Wishes, you can just make your own, normal ones, just substitute stuff for healthier stuff.

And, BTW, that avatar is disturbing on many levels. :p

I didn't realize that pancakes weren't horrible for you...cool!

Me either!! But I do think it might have a few extra carbs than I want! ;) I take carb-blockers so it's not so bad...;)
