Eh, no, definately not on adkins. I only take the carb blockers on the meals I have that are very high in carbs (like if I eat a Subway sandwhich, but not if I eat a sandwich at home). I definately still get in carbs every day, but I don't want an abundance of them....if that makes any sense. I have to eat plenty of fruits everyday, so that counts for the majority of my sugar, so carbs would just add to that I guess? Anyway, I'm on the LA Weightloss diet. It's working great so far and I haven't been hungry yet!! The theory is "fuel from food" not "get me full from food." I have yet to be hungry or weak or anything like that that have come with previous diets. :D
 
I weighed in at 178.8 this morning for the new challenge...problem: I haven't lost ANY weight this week...it's really frusterating....I think it's because I started exercising everyday. Mom told me that when you do that, your body holds back extra water (weight) so I hope that's true, in which case I would have lost something I'm sure...? Also, my thighs have been killing me....maybe I'm gaining some muscle :/ Can anybody confirm my suspicions (sp?)?
 
I can confirm. Whenever im doing more cycling or tramping or otherwise i gain some water weight as the body stores it.
Even if i do a big race of more than 2 hours ill drink 2-4 ltrs of water, it wont all be gone for up to a week.

When you stop it takes about a week to get rid of it, its only a couple lb and not really worth worrying about :)
 
Oh, that makes me feel better wishes! :)

I did the cardio workout tonight and I was very pleased! When I started (a week ago?) I couldn't hold out through a lot of the intense cardio sets, but I hung in there tonight and did great! That always feels good! :D

I still haven't lost weight.....but I'm not gaining and I'm exercising. I just hope I'm loosing inches....that is more important to me than weight really...That would be exciting! I think I only have 1 more (or it might be this week) till I get measured again...hopefully it's one week so that I can loose some more inches! ;) If not, great!

I started playing everquest at the request of my boyfriend....I'm ashamed to admit that I like that game! He's kinda frusterated with me because I'm a newby. He's mastered the never-ending game....ugh, lol. I'm learning!

Well, it's off to work I go for two hours now....I really don't want to go!!!

Lol good on ya for working out hard out. My exercise seems to be non-existant, though the diet is good. Once im back at work next week ill be cycling of course which will bump it all up :)

Ugh, today has been horrible. I slept in until 12 (forgot to turn on the heat last night before I went to bed and it was FREEZING this morning....good sleeping weather!) then I finally got up and cooked some of the yummy healthy pancakes changeforlife recommended (yummy!). After that, I started playing Everquest....bad idea. I was only going to play for my food to settle....before i knew it, it was 5:00 and Robert was home from work....Soooo I cooked dinner and cleaned up a little bit.

No exercize yet today...but I will do it in just abot 30 minutes. I'm going to do the ab workout tonight....it's sweet and short. I have to go to work around 9 again tonight to do inventory and sort through some paperwork and stuff. I work again 8-2 tomorrow so that'll be 6 hours of me running around....plenty of exercise that doesn't count haha

Now I'm watching Momma's Family....haha I love this show. I'm gonna go now, night!
 
Don't you hate those days when you don't get anything accomplished, despite your best intent? Then again, sometimes we all need a day to just sleep.
 
immm cold mornings! its swelteringly hot here today, and ive felt lethargic all day because of it.

Not sure what is better lol
 
I like hot! Nothing like going for a walk and getting sweaty, then taking a nice shower....... Good stuff there.

Thanks for stopping by! I really am looking forward to seeing the numbers on the scale get smaller...I've been working my booty off for a week now and it hasn't moved except to go up a bit... :confused:
