Cohen's Lifestyle How much do you weigh and how tall are u!!

Prefix for Cohen's Lifestyle
OMG-I am in size 14 pants! Major re-think required! (175cm tall-5'8") Haven't been this size for decades. I had to buy some pants as everything is falling off me & I still have a long way to go. I can't really believe it! xo Cate

Sizes Suck

Hi im 25 and i hate all sizes in Australia. Nothing is consistent and vary from one extreme to another.

Im 166cm and at last weigh in i was 75.5kg but weigh in is tomorrow morn. I have fluid tablets (prescription) for water retention as i retain atleast 2-3lt after a 24hr period. This is medically abnormal but no obvious reason for this. Maybe i have an advantage when it comes to weigh in as i can take the tablet the night before and excrete excess fluid. Its only ridding of what im retaining- nothing extra. I will hopefully hit 73kg tomorrow.

Tops: 14-16 (i have a 16dd bust!!) or medium/large depending on brand.
Pants: 12-14. I refuse to have 16's although asian shop 16 are like 12-14s.

I tried Gordiano jeans and i prob could have gone 11's but i have spare tyre at mo so its bigger size for me. I will need tummy tuck for tyre eventually (after kids according to fiance! ;) ). Im slowly being a little more daring in clothes but i cant get past my tyre or wobbly upper arms. Any ideas??

Looks like this link has slowed... :(

I'm 171cms weighing 100kgs

I fit into size 16-18-20 pants - it depends the material or brand
and size 16-18 tops - also depends on the material or brand

I hope to fit comfortably into a size 12 or 10 (I wish!!!)

I'll have to wait and see ...

I currently weight 210 and last time I checked I was 5'7..

So far I lost about 2 pant sizes so now I'm able to fit into a 14

Wow - good to know sizes and weights - very interesting. Today I wore my size 14 levi's shopping - first time in 7 years!!!! But another size 14 pair still doesn't fit - I am 11 weeks in and have lost 19 kilo's. 165cm tall and 87.9 kg as of this morning, naked after the toilet (I know - weighing every morning keeps me honest though). I have never worn size 12 ever that I can remember (I'm 33) so that will be a HUGE day - hopefully soon.

TerriT, Congratulations!! I remember that feeling whipping through the sizes.....can't go near that yet, nearly do it up, do it up, fits nicely & then whammo....baggy, next size same, same. Op shops saved the day! To have been in the same size for over a year is wonderful. Was 22 or 24, now 12 or 14 depending on brand. I'm back to the size I was in my teens, when I was very fit & sporty. To some that's big, but to me it's perfect for me. Happy & healthy. Gotta love Cohen's!!

Hi all,
I am 176cm tall and am currently weighing 101.8kg. I wear a size 18 bottoms and 16/18 top.I did so well last year and lost 10 kgs and got down to a size 16 jeans but I let myself go badly on my honeymoon, shortly followed by christmas and new years and gained all of the weight again!
But not this time, this time I am in it for the long haul and I am going to reach my reccomended 66-69kg!

Wannabesexee - you and I are really similar!

I'm 1.84m (6ft) and my first weigh-in was 105.1kg.

My goal is between 71 and 74 kg - even the thought of it is so exciting!

I've always hated being tall AND big. People tell me that it's great to be tall and have curves, instead of being a bean-pole. But I'm really sick of being unhappy with myself and feeling like a giant. Plus, I feel as though I'm incredibly out of proportion. I'm a size 14 on top and a size 18 bottoms. Not only can I not find jeans that are long enough, but I can't find any that are wide enough :(

Looking forward to a happier and healthier me!!!

Good luck with your journeys too.

I am 5'6 so I think that is 1.68 or 168 cm. and a 8 or 7.5 US shoe size.

I was at 218 for nearly 8 months... the heaviest I've ever been. Gained 10 lbs for 6 months straight stopped at 218 in Nov 2007 and stayed there till July 2008.

My Time Line:

Started making changes in July @ 218lbs (99kg)
Received Program and Started Cohen 09.29.08 @ 202lbs (91.8kg)

Official Start: Oct.03.08 @ 198lbs. (90kg)
Size 14/16 Top 16/18 Bottom 43.5/40.5/49

4 Weeks -- Oct.31.08 @ 188lbs (Down 10lbs). (85.5kg)
Size 14 Top 16 Bottom. 41/38/46

8 weeks -- Nov.28.08 @ 178lbs (Down 10lbs). (80.9kg)
Size L Top 14/16 Bottom. 41/36/44.5

12 weeks --Dec.26.08 @ 168.5lbs (Down 10lbs). (76kg)
Size M/L Top 12/14 Bottoms. 40/35/42.5

My goal weight was put at 130lbs (59kg) but I am pretty athletic and have a lot of lean muscle from crew, so I believe I will have to adjust my final goal weight to about 145lbs (65.9kg) that will have me at about 21% Body Fat with my lean muscle.

Totally agree with Wannabsexee.

CoheninAZ - Your stats are amazing! Really good steady progress. I love reading about other peoples progress as it's very motivating.

SInce this thread is how tall and how much I weigh, here are my stats altho I have already stated this in my journey thread:

Height: 1.52m
Starting Weight: 68kg (started cohens 3rd Jan 2009)
Current Weight: 67kg (on 9th Jan 2009)

Me too. I'm just wondering.. if it is normal that I am 25 years old and weighs 85 lbs and my height is 5'8''. I am thankful that I am not experiencing any sickness because I am not taking any vitamins and not eating green leafy vegetables or some nutritious foods, but I should have try that too. My doctor advised me to eat foods with nutritional value. Eventhough I am taking much foods, breakfast, lunch and dinner, still I did not gain weight instead I loss, I really think that my everyday exercise at our gymnasium helps a lot too.

85lbs at 5'8 is really underweight even for a gymnist and your height. Sounds like you might have a superavtive Thyroid. Good luck with the weight gain, its a really serious issue.

Nathalie03- If you do weigh only 85lbs and are 5'8" you would have a BMI of only 12.9, which is very under-weight. If that were so I would hope that your doctor has explored the reasons why. Being very under-weight is as much a health problem as being over-weight. Why are you not eating nutritious food? I see from your "blog" that you have interests in a green tea site & you go to the gym every day but you don't eat nutritious food? It seems like a contradiction. Please seek medical help if your weight is so low. I wouldn't rest until I found out why. Take care of yourself, Cate.

I'm 160cm just (sometimes 159) or 5'3 and I started Cohens weighing 91.1 the most I've ever weighed -even after my 7th baby was born I came out weighing 76kg. She turned 13 last week so it's taken me 13 years to reach this weight and I'm tired of it. I'm currently 86.1 and determined to get down to 56 -the middle of my suggested range. I've been squeezing into 2 pairs of 16 pants for awhile and they are just starting to feel comfortable. I started a new job 2 years ago and was 73 then after a stint on Tony Ferguson and looked pretty good. I'd just finished my teaching degree and didn't want to be called fat names by the kids. I bought heaps of gorgeous clothes, some even size 12's and they are all waiting for me to wear them again. I have some clothes that I have seenother big people wear and think OMG is that how I look?? So I'm so ready to change my life forever!!
Really appreciate all the support here! Del xx
