HOT for my Honeymoon!!

Hey Lisa!

How you get better soon I am sending you a cyber hug and a bunch of positive vibes and healthy toughts!!! Take care lots of rest and as you say....water, water ,water!!!!!

Remember if you are drinking more water than usual, it'll effect your weigh in.
I drink 2L of water a day and 2C of green tea..if I were to drink 1L, then 2L, the 3L..it's mess up my weigh in for sure. So, it could be that too if your scale is off.

Hope you feel better soon! You'll have to look at this as "getting it out of your system" before your trip. You want to be able to enjoy yourself your whole trip!

I hope I don't get it because I'm less than a week away from bringing cardio back into my weight loss plan.
Thanks Derrick - i'll cross my fingers you don't! It really put a wrench in my workout plans this week. I hope your kids feel better soon too!

I made crappy food choices last Friday thru Sunday and it totally messed up my plumbing too.
Thanks Tig - I feel 5 pounds lighter today too! I hate it how I know it's going to happen if I eat the way I did yet I still manage to do it over and over. This last time was the worst yet and I think it actually made me think about binge eating differently - for once! I'm hoping I will remember the horrible feeling when I'm deciding what to fill my plate with at the buffets - I have to remember I don't have to eat everything on my plate!

Please get a lot of rest before vacation! It's probably the best thing you can do for your body being that you don't have much time before you leave. I don't know why you are so afraid of stepping on the scale, your workouts look great and yesterday's food log looks perfect!
Hang in there -- get well soon! <3
Thanks Sarah - sorry I haven't posted in your diary - I did get caught up yesterday though and you are going to kick butt the next 11 days! Keep it up! Looking forward to seeing your spring break photos too!
I was afraid of the scale because I hadn't gone to the washroom since Friday! I was sooooo backed up!!!

Hey Lisa!
How you get better soon I am sending you a cyber hug and a bunch of positive vibes and healthy toughts!!! Take care lots of rest and as you say....water, water ,water!!!!!
Thanks Veronique - the cyber hug helped a ton and I am feeling so much better today! The rest and water really helped!

Hope you feel better soon! You'll have to look at this as "getting it out of your system" before your trip. You want to be able to enjoy yourself your whole trip!
Thanks Amanda - I think the worst of it is gone and hopefully it doesn't return till I get back at least! Thanks for the support!

So I am feeling 85% better today! I got caught up at work and went home after lunch to rest. Eating was good all day except friends of ours popped in after dinner with a dessert and a bottle of wine. I still wasn't feeling well and looked like crap but I couldn't not invite them in (but who doesn't call ahead anymore??). I didn't have any wine but I had a small piece of tiramisu and it was soo good. After they left I walked on the treadmill for a mile - just to move a little since I had slept almost all day. I didn't break a sweat or anything but it felt good to move. I took more buckley's and was in bed by 9pm.
I woke up a few times to pee because I had drank so much water and each time I got up I felt a little better. Not as congested and the cough had subsided. I decided to set my alarm to wake up and do the treadmill and sure enough I got up! When my alarm went off at 5:45 I felt awake and refreshed. I ran 3.2 miles and burned 367 calories - probably about as much as the dessert cost me.
I didn't even take any cold medicine this morning but I brought it just in case. Still upping my water intake today and chicken soup again for lunch. No plans tonight so I intend to rest lots and maybe do a level or 2 of 30 day shred. I have a bit of laundry to do and some packing still but I can leave it till Friday or Saturday.
I should have some time tomorrow to check out diaries and say good bye before I go. I think I'm going to save my weigh-in for Saturday morning but I'll see what the scale looks like tomorrow. Today I was at 147.2 after many washroom breaks yesterday! Feeling good about that again and only 3 sleeps to go!!! Have a good day forum friends!!

Hey Lisa! Glad to hear you're feeling better :D Way to get that exercise in still! IDK if you will be on here or if I will be around before you leave so I just wanted to say HAVE A WONDERFUL, FUN, AMAZING, SEXY, BEST VACATION EVERRRRR!!!!!

<3 Sarah

You are amazing, Lisa!! Have an awesome time (I know you will). Can't wait to hear all about it! We'll miss you while you're away!!

Thanks girls,
I have been getting more colds than normal this winter but the good thing is they only end up lasting a couple days. Most people in my office have had the same cold for two weeks! I couldn't imagine.

Well today is the last day I will be online before I depart on my honeymoon. I woke up this morning and I couldn’t be happier with my results. I’m so proud of all the hard work I put in and the changes I made with my night time snacking. I never even came close to my ultimate goal of 135 but I did reach my goal of 145 – today the scale said 144.8! I’m going for my weigh-in soon just to log my weight at WW and will post those results as well.

Oh and I got up and ran 3.2 miles this morning too!! Yeah me!

Here’s how yesterday looked:
Exercise – 3.2 mile run, stretch 370 cal burned.
B – 1 cup fresh strawberries, 1/3 cup all bran buds & 1 ff activia yogurt
L – 1 can Campbell’s herbed chicken and brown rice soup
D – 1 cup Smart spaghettini with home made sauce – canned tomato, lean ground turkey, spices, a sprinkle of parm and chives.
Exercise – level 1 30 day shred & 2 miles on the treadmill – 400 cal burned.
Snack – pear

I also took some measurements this morning and to my surprise they have gone down since two weeks ago!!
Chest – 34”
Natural Waist -28”
Waist at Belly Button – 32”
Hips – 37 ½”

I was going to ask hubby to take a picture of me in a bathing suit last night but I chickened out and thought he might think it’s weird. I’m sure there will be an opportunity to take one on the trip and I will post when I get back. I’m really impressed with my arms too and I can’t wait to show them off – I never thought those words would come out of my mouth. I still hate the stretch marks all over them but they are toned and sexier than ever before! I actually weigh less than I did on my wedding too which is pretty cool.

Although I am super stoked for my honeymoon and this amazing trip – I’m actually looking forward to coming home and getting back into routine. I’m really enjoying running and I know when I get home it will be warm enough to start running outside again. I also feel so good at this weight that I will want to get back here as soon as I can. I have all the tools to do it so it will just be a matter of motivation.

I talked to hubby last night about exercising on our trip and he’s all for it. Everyone has been telling me – it’s your vacation your not going to want to exercise but I really enjoy exercising so why wouldn’t I want to do something I enjoy while on vacation?? I know I will prove them wrong and that’s all that matters. They even have group yoga sessions and spinning classes on board the cruise so I’m sure I will want to participate in one of those. I also haven’t seen my parents dog in almost 5 months so I will be looking forward to talking him for a walk or two while we are there.

I’ll be back briefly to post my official weigh-in! I’ll miss you all while I’m gone and hope you all keep it up and kick my butt when I return!
