As for the egg whites, if you don't totally like the taste of the egg whites by themselves, just add one whole egg. You don't have to worry about the extra fat and calories from that one yolk. You will be fine. I would say 3 egg whites and one whole egg, scrambled or omelette style. If you can stomach even more egg whites, go for it. They are so few calories yet they will really fill you up, especially if you add veggies.

Finally, you are not getting as sore anymore, as you probably already know, because your body and muscles have gotten used to the exercises you are doing. I have the same thing going on. I lift to failure and feel like I should be sore for days but I don't get sore at all anymore. I am looking forward to changing my exercises soon.

Thanks Derrick - hubby feels the same way and that's why I'm so torn to cut it. I just feel like I need a change but then I keep second guessing my thoughts. I guess I'll see how I feel Saturday when I get up and go there.

I don't mind egg whites but they get boring quick and then I get sick of the taste and can't have them for a while. Today I used 1 whole egg & 2 egg whites and mashed it all together and put some lettuce and spicy ketchup in the wrap but it was still pretty bland and didn't leave me satisfied like the berries & yogurt. I mean I was full but I wasn't satisfied if you know what I mean. Tomorrow I'm going to try adding some salsa and maybe a tad of cheese and see if that works.

I guess because the workouts are set-up in circuits and they are always different I feel like my workout is always varied but if I think about it more I'm still always doing the same things - squats, swings, burpees, push-ups, etc. Are you saying I should start doing something different? I guess it's worth some thought.
 
Yesterday was another great day!! I woke up feeling really strong and tight again this morning and it's making me so happy! I'm feeling great and I feel like nothing can stop me for the next 39 sleeps!! I wish I had this kind of motivation all the time. Here's how yesterday looked:

B - whole wheat sm tortilla (90cal), 1 whole egg & 2 egg whites hard boiled, tbsp spicy ketchup, 2 boston lettuce leaves.
L - 1 can tuna drained in water, lettuce, red pepper, cucumber, cherry tomato, snap peas, black olives, shredded carrot, green onion, red onion & ff tomato, oregano dressing.
D#1 - 1 scoop whey protein powder, 1 sm banana frozen, ice cubes, 1/2 cup skim milk, 1/2 cup water, tsp vanilla extract - blended.
Exercise - 1 hr gentle yoga, 1 hr kettle bell circuit - 620 cal burned.
D#2 - 5 strawberries, ff activia yogurt, 1/3 cup all bran buds
Snack - apple
Exercise - 3 sets 15 sits up, various leg lifts.

I'm loving the gentle yoga - I'd call it extreme stretching more than yoga but it feels so great and I know my body is loving it. My friend tried kettle bell with me last night and left after 20 minutes - she just couldn't do it and was struggling. I'm glad she gave it a try and she's going to try it again in a couple months when she gets fitter.

I know I mentioned it before but my sister sells NuSkin products and I bought the galvanic spa a while ago which can be used for many purposes but the latest I found out about was dimishing cellulite. I have a whole bottle of the cream left from when I was spaing my arms but the last two nights I've been using the spa on the my thighs and I actually think it's helping. I'm going to continue using it till the cruise and even if it doesn't work it's making my skin really smooth. That's my biggest trouble spot these days and normally I could care less but knowing I'm going to be in a bathing suit a lot makes me more aware of them.

Okay I'm ready for another great day and excited for my long run tonight! I was 150.2 on the scale this morning so there should be no reason not to see 149 come Friday!!

You have been burning some serious calories and have been eating really well, I think you'll see an even better number on the scale then you're expecting, you're due for a big drop with all of the hard work you're putting in. Thanks Janvier!! I'm do for a whoosh as Mizzie used to say so seeing anything below 149 would just be amazing! I buy the dressing at Metro - it's the irresistible brand name stuff - I love it and only 15 cals per tbsp.
I tried my egg whites with salsa this morning in the wrap and it was 100% better - and less calories than ketchup!

Looks like you've got this in the bag, Lisa! If you are not in the 140's by Friday, smash that scale to pieces and throw it out the window. You've GOT this!!!

Honestly it did feel pretty good - for the reasons you mentioned! I'm starting to believe I'm becomming the fit person I always wanted to be and it's so liberating - makes me feel like I can do anything! You should have seen me busting out the push-ups last night!

Hey great to see you around Melissa!! Running is doing good however I'm not concentrating on improving it or anything. I just don't have the time and not so much interest anymore. Just happy when I get to do it and still enjoy it. If I'm not pregnant by September I'll probably run the half marathon again just to see if I can improve my time but it's not a goal of mine at the moment. I think my next big interest is going to be yoga. I always go on spurts of trying different things - I need to keep it interesting. Great to hear from you though! Thanks for stopping by!

Now about my hair...I'm so torn. Every day I say something different. Yesterday it was "what the hell I'm just going to chop it all off" and then today I'm like "maybe I should just get it cut below my shoulders and keep some length". It's driving me crazy. I know hair grows back but honestly I don't think I would spend 4 years trying again because my hair is very fine and I have a feeling it won't grow back in full. I don't know if that makes sense.
The reason I think I'm having such a hard time is because I've never seen myself with short hair and not a chubby face and I'm so curious. There are days though where I really love my long hair. I guess it will come down to how I feel when I wake up Saturday morning.
Here are a couple of short and long to compare.
 
Ugh I have a cold and I feel like crap today. Yesterday I had a sore throat but I was trying to pretend it was nothing and then last night I felt like I was going to die. You know when your sick and even your hair follicles hurt – well that’s how I felt. I woke up this morning not feeling any better – actually a little worse because now I’m at work and I just want to go back to bed and sleep all day. Unfortunately I have a bunch of meetings at work today I can not miss. Despite feeling crappy I had a good day healthy day yesterday, here’s how it looked:

B- whole wheat sm tortilla, 1 whole egg & 2 egg whites hard boiled, salsa, 2 boston lettuce leaves.
L - 1 can tuna drained in water, lettuce, orange pepper, cucumber, cherry tomato, snap peas, black olives, shredded carrot, green onion, red onion & ff tomato, oregano dressing.
Exercise – 65 min treadmill, 6.3 miles, stretch – 760 cal burned.
D – chicken stir-fry – 4oz boneless skinless chicken, shredded carrot, sliced water chestnuts, orange pepper, bean sprouts, sliced almonds, baby corn, broccoli, broth, spices & olive oil.
Dessert – s.f. choc pudding cup
Snack – 1 scoop whey protein powder, ½ cup frozen strawberries, ice, ½ cup skim milk, ½ cup water, tsp vanilla extract.

I found out I have meetings tomorrow that won’t allow me to weigh-in so I’m going to go today. I didn’t get a chance to step on the scale this morning but I’m feeling good about being in the 140’s since I was so close yesterday. I’ll update when I get back.

Tonight one of hubby’s friends wants to go to kettle bell with me but I’m not sure I will be feeling up to it. I’d hate to cancel on him because we have been planning this for a while but if I’m sick, I’m sick. I have a headache right now and just feel bla.
 
Whoa... I can't get over how tiny you are now compared to those old pictures! Especially that last one with the purple sweatshirt on... I love that picture of you :D I love your long hair but if you want a change I think you should do something along the lines of the picture I sent you - maybe just get it really layered to add some texture to it? I don't think you should chop it all off because one, you will really miss it and two, you will want to have something to work with when you do your hair for the wedding! :)

I bet you're weigh in will go great today - yesterday looks PERFECT! Don't worry about canceling on the workout tonight - you deserve a night of rest. Just listen to your body! Hope you feel better soon, I'll check back after classes to see how weigh in went :D Good luck!

I'm sorry to hear that your not feeling well and it sucks that you're stuck at work today. Get lots of fluids in, hopefully that will help flush out your system.
Your day sounded amazing yesterday, you're really rocking this week! I'm glad the salsa did the trick for your egg whites, it really makes a difference. Thank you for the salad dressing tip, I've looked for it at Metro a hundred times but never find the ff one!! I'll have to keep loooking. Don't feel bad if you have to cancel kettle bell, rest is usually the best medicine and he'll understand, if you skip it stay strong and away from "I'm sick snacks", I usually go hunting for snacks when I'm sick and use feeling unwell as an excuse, you're on a roll keep it going. I think you look great with your hair long and short, maybe you should keep your lenght and just get some funky layers to have a different look. Feel better and have a healthy day!!
 
I agree with Sarah with just adding layers! get some rest lots of water and hopefully you feel better soon!

The truth,... most men love long hair. I often wondered WHY? ..and what I've come down to, is that it just reminds them too much of their own hair! Small and short! haha...at least compared to women like you with lucious long hair!

The other day I was looking on facebook at a pic of a couple, and they were walking and I had the back view. For a quick second, I didn't know which one was the woman and which one the man!! hahaahahah!!! ....hmmmm?!! :D!!! LOL!

I agree with Sarah! Don't cut it! Change your color if anything, or yes, layers. Please keep the long hair!!! :D! I love it!!

I can relate on your friend not being able to hang with the kettle ball! This morning I worked out with ropes and kettle balls too. This one new girl worked out with us, and she was a gymnist 8 years ago, and she is I'd say 125 pounds, 23 yrs ol and works out daily too and couldn't hang!

She was BEAT!! She was starring at me and how I did it! ...That showed me how far I have come in endurance! I'm smashing out regular pushups now too! You go girl!!!

That pic was taken last summer when I was around 145 so I'm close to there again! I was around 155 I think in Vegas so 10 pounds really shows on me.

Another good day down! My cold is still driving me crazy but I started taking some cold medicine and it’s making me feel better. I was 147 exactly on my scale at home this morning so that was exciting to see! I don’t think I’ve seen that number since my wedding day which was almost 6 months ago. I’m almost down 10 pounds since I signed back up to WW so that is exciting also. I have 5 more weigh-ins till the cruise so I’m changing my goal to 145 because I just don’t think my body is going to give it up any sooner. I’m still going to try my best though and give it all my effort. I have 37 sleeps left and I can still get in at least 30 good workouts! My inches are slowly coming down too so everything is going exactly how it should be!!

Here’s how yesterday looked:
B – orange, 2 cups mint tea (wanted to have a light breakfast because my boss was taking me out for lunch).
L – bowl chicken gumbo soup, ½ turkey club sandwich (we went to Moxie’s and I was so mad I couldn’t find nutritional info anywhere for their menu – I picked what I thought would be best).
D – 2 thin slices boneless pork chops (approx. 5oz), 6 baby potatoes, red onion, green beans cooked with spices & olive oil.
Exercise – 1 hr pedal & pump (was a mixture of spin bike & bosu with 10 pound hand weights) 450 cal burned.
Snack – 1 scoop choc. whey protein powder, ½ frozen banana, ½ cup frozen strawberries, ½ cup skim milk, ½ cup water, ice, tsp vanilla extract – blended – sooo yummm!!!

I’m getting so good at night time snacking. I realized the main reason is because my hubby is watching what he eats too so he’s not talking about food all night like he used to. He’s enjoying the shakes I’ve been making and I’ve been enjoying the dinners he’s been preparing. He always uses lots of spices and flavours but keeps it healthy with only a splash of olive oil.

Not much planned for this weekend. I hope to get rid of this cold with some rest and lots of water. Tonight I’m going to the gym straight from work and I’m just going to walk on the treadmill at low intensity and then attend gentle yoga with my friend. Tomorrow I’m getting my hair cut but I hope to get to the gym in the morning before the appointment. She always styles it nice and I wouldn’t want to go to the gym afterwards. I’m hoping to get out for a ski Sunday because the weather is supposed to warm up a bit and if not I’ll do a long run again. Then it’s time to start the week over again!!
