I'm 18, male, weighing at 125lbs. and am 5'9 (175cm). I've changed my diet the past few months, so I've gained some weight. Generally, my BMI is pretty low, so I'm most likely classified as underweight. I'm not looking to have a bodybuilder body, but more of a normal, toned, defined body. I'm kind of depressed that I'm so light compared to the ideal body mass for my height so I'm trying to bulk up, is there any specific suggestions for that other than more white meat, protien etc? Would meal replacement bars be good for a snack every few hours or so?
Need to get myself toned, been such a slouch lately. What are some good exercises and main points of the muscle group can I focus with just the body itself, no equipment required? I have next to no time during this college semester to go to a gym, and all my money is in my tuition.
What kind of self work outs can be preformed to tone the body? Push ups, sit ups? I'm sure there are more, it would be awesome if someone can share all types of self-work out tips. How much should be done of each? How often? Daily? Bi-daily? What's the best time? Morning? Night? How long should it last?
Until second semester comes around, I want to be able to have an average body and head to the gym... right now I feel like a stick, so very fragile. The diameter of my wrist is that of a chopstick.
