Get back on the wagon missy!!!
Hi Dee,
I'm sorry to hear you're having trouble. The hardest part about falling off the wagon is getting back on. But it is possible, and once you're on you should be right!
Have a think back to when you first decided to start Cohen's and the frame of mind you were in. Try to recreate those thoughts and see if they help motivate you again. What prompted you to decide that this was the plan for you?
Once you've got your mindset straight on why you want to do this, have a think about tomorrow and what you need to do to get your food organised/planned so that you don't have any excuses to slip up. Maybe get your fruit cut up, your water bottles filled, vegies chopped, meat weighed all ready to go. If you can, get all the non-cohen's food and put it out of sight (or at least out of easy reach).
Make yourself some little reminder notes about why you're doing this and stick them to the fridge door/pantry etc.
Have a think about what has been causing you to deviate. Is it boredom? Stress? etc. Plan some actions to take tomorrow if these things come up so that you can react in a way that doesn't involve food.
Remember, life happens 1 second at a time. Don't worry about whether you can be good for the next week. Just concentrate on being good in the moment you are in. Before you know it all those moments of being good will add up to a week, then another and another and soon after that you'll be ordering refeed.
You can do it. You know you can - if you thought otherwise I doubt you would have forked out the $$ for the program in the first place. So pick yourself up, climb on board the wagon and enjoy the ride to Thinville!
If you want to chat at all, just PM me.
Cheers,
Linda
