Few facts about myself:
1. 18 year old male.
2. Student living at home.
3. 204 lbs and 6 ft tall.
4. Aiming to lose between 20 and 25 lbs and see some muscle definition.
5. All my friends are in great shape.
5. What I struggle with is not binge eating. I will eat healthy all day but then consume ludicrous amounts of junk food in a short space of time.

Day 1:

First day trying to lose weight today, went pretty well. Woke up and had two dry slices of brown toast and a pint of water. Went to the college library to do an assignment and drank a litre of water and ate a pack of Special K mini breaks. Had a cajun chicken wrap for lunch (could not help myself). Then went to the gym where I worked back, chest and shoulders (threw in some sit-ups for good measure too). I did the following:

Bent over barbell rows: 3x10
Bent over dumbell rows: 3x10
Shoulder shrugs: 3x12
Front barbell raise: 3x10
Chest press: 3x10
Chest Flys: 3x10
Crunches: 50

Was though going even with low weights. Post workout snack was a large tin of tuna and protein shake then went home. Fir dinner I had a low fat chicken curry with rice and a nutri-grain bar afterwards. Then went on a 1 hour walk at a slow pace. All in all a productive day and hopefully tomorrow is too!

Another good day today :) Decided to give the gym a miss because my muscles were sore instead decided to try Josie Gibsons" 30 second slim" at home. A really tough but do-able workout I'd strongly recommend to people who aren't the fittest. In the evening I decided to stretch my legs and went for a stroll. This took some willpower considering my walking route passes by Eddie Rockets, TGI Fridays, Subway and McDonalds!. On the way home I picked up some food for the week (Green tea, rice cakes, redskin peanuts, peanut butter and Special K) Not a bad shop really! Eating didn't go too bad either:

Special K for breaky.
3 Crackers with peanut butter and banana on top and a Nutri-grain for Lunch.
Chicken Casserole for Dinner
2 Rice cakes with peanut butter for a snack.

Happy with myself again. Its also 2 days with no crisps, chocolate or biscuits!

What sort of plan do you have for your gym routine ?

Chest and Arms
Rest Day
Back and Shoulders
Rest Day
Legs and Abs

Fairly new to gym work, weights in particular so going with a friend who is fairly familiar with the gym and shows what exercises he'd recommend. I also try get in cardio everyday even just a short walk

Not A great day, was a rest day so no exercise bar a short walk, was also given a large toblerone which I ate half of...Then went to the cinema and ate a large popcorn. Not proud of myself. Tomorrows a new day though!

Don't worry about eating some candy, Daniel. It's part of life to have something good every now and then, just make sure to balance it out and not overdo it.

Haven't posted in a while due to college exams, got to the gym and walked regularly during them and ate relatively healthy. Had a two day binge where I drank and went out (was off the drink 17 days). No big weight changes but feeling fitter and seeing new muscle and got asked twice if id lost weight! Woo! Back off the drink and sweets from today!
