Thank you!!! Yes I can totally see now that it's not ALL about the number and that I could have easily gained a lot of leg muscle when I was doing my everyday bike ride while having to pull another 35lbs with me who's my little toddler. Im very glad to see some change in my body.

K I went swimming today for 3 n a half hours went with a couple of friends and cousins and it was fun. We fooled around, played around and I sqeezed in a few relaxing laps , I couldnt do TOO many coz I kept getting drowned in the proccess by some silly ppl lol. I'm sure I lost a lot of calories coz I didnt step out of that pool, I did a lot of water treading (if that is how u spell it lol) and I love to be under water so I did that, basically I made sure I was moving around a lot n not just floating about. Afterwards we all were hungry like animals so we decided on Subway. I had a tuna footlong with whole wheat bread, I only ended up eating a half of it with a cookie and yes im guilty for not grabbing a bottle of water, i had a medium cup of Iced tea lol.
I couldnt believe how full a 6" sub made me feel, I was happy about it because those were the signs of a shrunk down stomach :)

I am guilty of this tho. We also ended up going to the movies saw (the mirrors) or w/e and it was a jumpy movie lol I had like 5 sips of a smoothie and then I decided that it was too sugary and not worth having so I threw 4 bucks down the drain lol. When I got home, I had a slice of pizza (YES I need to be hanged).

But I like the fact that I can keep falling down sometimes but always getting back up. After all I want this to be a life changing affect not something temp, so a few falls are bound to happen here n there.

Tomorrow we're having a HUGE picnic.
Like 60 ppl will be there, lamb will be bbq'd, like a FULL body lamb lol and I do love the meat but for those who know, lamb is very greasy.
So I will have a tiny bit probably less then half the size of my fist and Ill chow down on salad or something n bunch of water.

And it's ok to have other things to drink besides just water all the time. As long as you are drinking water as well as those other things.

Haha thanks!!!!!!!!!! Yes def measure yourself because i was amazed to see even like .5" gone, it's stil better then the scale.
I think what I will do from now on is get a permanant marker and mark my last measurement on the measuring tape to kinda just see it with my own eyes, kinda like a kid does with their height.

So I didn't have lamb i said no thanks to it so me and a gf went to Timmy's, Tim Hortons it's Canadian. And I had a small cream of brocolli soup and a whole wheat bagel with smoke turkey, lettuce and tomato on it and I allowed myself a cheat and had one cookie.

But here is the GREAT news. It was girls vs boys we played volleyball for a couple of hours, great exercise and run, I'm sure I lost plenty of calories, plust I took long walks and I was playing with my little one at the park that was near our picnic, so I was on my feet for 5.5 hours straight.

I am guilty of this tho. I came home and had 2 muffins (ahhhhhhhhhh).
I just kinda took them, my mind was BLANK, no thought were going thru it, it was like a robot doing something that it wasn't programmed to do, it was weird for me. I after that had a sandwich with some cheeken salame, it was white bread and mayo was on it too. I would like to be honest, because for me to come here and lie just for the sake of making myself feel better and looking better and stronger to others is not fair. I don't want to deny my problems, its one way to never get them solved.

So yes, I'm still working on the "when temptation strikes I let loose" thing, but I'm glad that Im realizing this instead of giving up like I would before.

I am sooo tired and everything is sore from playing volleyball. We also had a small water bottle war, the guys started it but us girls "attempted" to get back at them but they were just too darn fast for us, so we got soaked lol but at least we all had a good run around the forests.

It was a gorgeous day.
So i'm glad I kept active today all day long.
Tonight I might hit the treadmill depends on how sore I get. Tomorrow tho I for SURE will hit the treadmill :)

I'm off to give my tod a bath, he's all dirty from the park.
 
DAY 14


K so my weekend wasn't the greatest but it could have gone worse then it had.

This morning me and my son had some slices of some left over pizza, I had 2 n a half.
I was feeling really sore last night from the volleyball and today I'm recovering but it's not so bad. You know, eating this pizza is making me realize how uncomfortable this heavy junk can make a stomach feel, I feel better when I eat whole wheat, vegetable foods or fruits, I feel lighter and more energized.

Blah!!!! Im gonna go clean now.But first ima go weigh myself *TAN TAN TAAAANNNNNN!!!!*

That is a HUGE step in the right direction. Huge! So while eating the pizza wasn't the best caloric-wise, it did provide you with some valuable insight.

I had one piece of pizza about a month ago (it was Zachary's, I couldn't resist!), It really tasted good, but even that small slice made me feel bogged down and gross.

I thought it was just me.
I felt so heavy afterwards and just kinda fullblown full even tho I only had like 2 slices. And then I realized that since my body hasnt touched that kind of food for over 10 days now it can feel the signs of bad food, unlike before where I could eat junk all day long and still feel the need for it constantly.

Like when we went to Subway the other day, sure subway is healthy, I got whole wheat and light mayo and a bunch of veggies on there but still with a 6" I was SO full even tho I ordered a footlong, and that NEVER happend to me before. Before I was able to eat a footlong, the pop, the two cookies no problem but when I ate that half and my drink and a cookie I felt like I was gonna POP lol.

SO yay!
 
Sounds like you had a great time at the BBQ and definitely got lots of exercise. Also, you now know how much better you feel when you eat healthier foods. (I learned that lesson this weekend, also.) We have to remember that this is the beginning of our journey so we will stumble from time to time.

I think the most important thing is realizing how we feel along the way. Emotions play such a big part in the choices that we make, so if we know that we are going to feel like crap for eating fatty foods, yet feel good if we eat healthy, then the decisions will start getting easier and easier.

I'll be checking in on you lots, but just want to wish you good luck for this entire week. We can do this. Even though we are just starting, can you believe it's been two weeks? I still feel so much more motivated than I have in the past! WOOHOO!!!

Today a gf and I got our physicals done for our school.
When the doctor asked for my weight I said 250lb hahahah, I couldn't blurt out 270 llol ah w/eeee.

They didn't make you get on a scale at the doctor's office??? Well, at least that's a good thing, cuz that is my least favorite part of going to the doc. I would rather them give me a shot in the booty...

Just think, in no time at all you'll be able to say that your weight is 250 and it will be the truth. Then, the numbers will just keep falling from there.

Here's to never being afraid to say the truth when someone asks how much we weigh!!! :cheers2:

NO, no scale and I was very surprised.
But the doctor was a fairly young guy, maybe 26.
He basically flirted his way thru our physical me and my friend went in together, and had it done in the same room together.

We thought it would be a whole proccess.
Scale, checkin our reflexes and so on. Basically he just kinda let us know that this is a proccess that doctors take a little too serious so he asked us questions such as "any illness, heart problems, drug use, alcohol use, smoker, kinda questions. He asked me the date and the year and figure I was neurologically fine lol.

I was glad he flew thru it coz I hate being at the doctor's office and thank god for no scale, even my gf lied about her weight even tho she's tall but thin, she thinks she is fat tho , very annoying :S

Also took our blood and we had a TB test done, gotta go back friday for the results.

Like I said today i've been having a headache all day long, so it's a yuki day, but nice weather would have gone swimming if not for the cold wind.
Yesterday I went swimming, so that was my activity for the day.

I haven't weighed myself in days but I dont think there will be ANY change since I've been indulging a little too much.

I have to go tomorrow to the store and get a bunch of fresh veggies and fruits.

Actually I've been a loyal member to this gym before.
When I had my biggest weightloss about 4-5 years ago, It was done at that gym. I was a member there twice, last about 2 years ago I'd say.
That gym feels like home, they are awesome and very supportive and they have great plans for every individual.

I couldn't recognize the gym today, they have improved and upgraded almost EVERYTHING. All the cardio and Weight machines are BRAND NEW! They all have a little TV in them so each person can watch TV while working out, which is AWESOME!!!

THey have a 10 day concept.
Which basically is, they give you your own card, the staff tracks your weight and measurements every 10 days. And on friday I have my fit day which is basically theyll run a bunch of tests on me and they'll do an edurance test.

The girl well the manager who I was talking to told me that she can't believe I weight 270 so she says that she is convinced that most of what I carry is muscle not fat and we'll find out about that on friday where they will conduct a fat/muscle test, so im psyched about that :D

Im happy now, I like working out at this gym, like I said it feels like home. They have great classes, like belly dancing, cardio and tonning also yoga which I will attend for the FIRST time :D

I was also told that they are soon creating a message therapy room, where a professional massage therapist will work and give anyone a massage if they like, kinda like a mini spa :D

It's an all womans club so it makes me feel that more confident when working out. I'm not ready to have men look at me quiet yet.

Ok so, I barley ate today, I'm having dinner now.

Spinach, Brown rice (first time), and lean ground beef homemade patties sauted in onions. I also bought some smartpop for myself for those snacking moments, I read the labels and it sounds good and healthy.
Got some fruits and NO-FAT cheese made out of skim-milk (hope it tastes good) lol.

Ok well I'm off.

DAY 17 11am
So had my breakfast.
3 turkey bacon strips about 80 calories each.
2 eggs, tsp sourcream, 1/4 of whole wheat bread and bunch of water.
I also had a Kiwi :)
For my snack at around 1pm I will have a little bit of my smartpop popcorn, i read the label and it's safe as a snack once in a while and I cam imagine while I eat it a bit of it that it's the extra buttery goodness instead of the no-taste Healthy stuff lol. Ill have an orange too and that will be for my snack.

Today I'm feeling bike riding since I havent done that in FOREVER now, so Off I go today with my tod.
