Hello again.....
I joined this forum back Jan 1, 2007. In the first 4 mths, I was successful in losing 25+ lbs. I was so happy and felt so good!
Over the summer months I had managed to gain much of the weight I had lost, and then became pregnant with my second child. Over the course of my pregnancy I gained 60lbs - similar to my first pregnancy. Both my kids were born via c-section.
My kids are now 6 and 2. Looking back at my orginial diary (which I had tried to get back to a few mths after delivery), I was 195lbs. 2 yrs later I am the same weight (if not a little more)! I feel gross and am having trouble focusing on looking after myself and watching what I eat. I am very much an emotional eater and find that I am stressed all the time.
I have decided to re-visit the forum, in hopes that I find the support that I need to lose this weight for good. I want to feel happy and healthy. I want to enjoy life and not be ashamed of how I look.
So here I go.......
-- How much weight do you want to lose? 60
-- What is the timeframe for reaching your target weight? 1 year
-- How do you want to accomplish your goal (what methods do you want to use)? Small goals (ie 15 lbs by Dec 31st, 2010). I will watch what I eat and be more active. I will not turn to food when I am stressed and emotional.
-- Who or what can support you in reaching your goal? my family, friends, co-workers and the forum
-- How realistic is your goal? Realistic
-- When will you start? NOW!
