OMG, it's gorgeous!!! I'm usually not a fan of large body tattoo's, but this is quite stunning. That is a very similiar look to the one I want on the top of my foot, and after seeing yours I want to get mine RIGHT NOW!!! ;)

That tattoo is SEXY. Its a tattoo- yet its very elegant, edgy, and hott. I approve! lol. I don't have the guts to get a tattoo, only because I have not yet found something I want to have forever. I go through liking/disliking my ideas... so why bother. lol. LOVE YOURS THOUGH!!
 
Wow! The tat is fantastic! It does look painful. I have 5 including one on foot as well and definately thought that was the worst. Which was more painful the run or the tat? LOL. I have to say for me it would be the run. Your pics are great and truly inspiring. I am new to the forum and its this inspiration that I have been looking for. Thank you.
 
SO i bought a scale today.... not sure why or what i need it for... being that i go to the gym and can weigh myself there... but im sure my boyfriend will use it more than me.... he seems to be obsessed with weighing himself at the petstore on the dog scale... so maybe this will stop the insanity LOL


Its a weight watchers scale... so whatever that means. It give your weight... but also calculates body fat, muscle mass, and hydration. It has a user memory so i have my own profile blah blah.

anyways.... this is what it said.

Today i weigh 126.2 ( i ate breakfast and what not so ill take it.. whatever

My body fat is 25%
H20- 54.5
Muscle mass- 36


I dont know what this means... but there you have it. I did a tiny bit of research and the body fat percentage is fair and water level fits the body fat number i was given. I dont know how to take the muscle mass in regards to progress or needing work....

anyways hanging out at home waiting for my boyfriend to come home.... i wanted to go for my run because its GORGEOUS out... but he insists he wants to go when he gets home... so i am waiting for him.


I may leave without him though if he doesnt show up here soon.

Alright so I have this new weakness which is chocolate. Ive always been a chocolate fan… but recently allowed myself to have a few tastes and lookie here…. I am an M&M addict haha. That and those little mini snickers and twix bars!!! Ugh!

Anyways, I promised myself yesterday that I will not have anymore chocolate this week! If I need to feed my sweet tooth…ill have an apple or some yogurt. I need to lay off the sweets! :) This morning I weighed in at 125.2 Which seems to be my new yo-yo spot… 123-125. Hey ill take that over 126-128 any day.
Had a nice tough workout yesterday. I spent 30 minutes on the cybex, 20 min on the treadmill, and 10 minutes on the exercise bike. I worked arms and abs then as well….. I def pushed myself on the arms day and just really worked it last night. I think the M&M binge… as you will see below, fueled my workout. I didn’t want to screw up my week by eating junk and taking it easy at the gym.
SO… in summary: Tough workout at the gym, no chocolate this week….. and my tattoo is healing up nicely!!! Tonight is leg day at the gym…. I think ill do 5K run on the treadmill and then work legs.
Food intake for yesterday:
Breakfast: Apple Cinnamon oatmeal (reduced sugar)- 220 cal
A handful of walnut pieces
Lg coffee w/ cream and splenda

Snack- 5 M&Ms and 4 triscuts
Lunch: Chicken Corn Soup ( homemade)

Snack- 10 M&Ms
Snack- 2 ‘ranger’ otis spunkmeyer cookies ( 130 CALORIES A COOKIE!!!! OMG)
Snack3- MORE M&Ms

Dinner
6 inch turkey and ham sub from subway- 300 calories
Light and fit yogurt- 80 calories
Fuse green tea with honey

Last evening i went to the gym. When i got there i was feeling a little lethargic... not really motivated to do much to be honest. decided i would go anyways, and get my run on. Unfortunately, i only made it to 1.5 miles when i started to get cold and clammy hands and feel weak. So i knew my sugar was dropping and it was time to go.

I headed out to my car, and there was a bag of white chocolate homemade chex mix that my bf's mom gave us... so i actually ate quite a bit of that... i was needing sugar bad.


i need to start keeping HEALTHY sugar items in my car for times like this.... because i didnt want to eat that stuff...but its all i had and i felt my sugar plumeting fast.....:willy_nilly:

Anyhow, for dinner we hate mushroom pizza... blah. i had two medium slices and a 100 cal muffin pack. then i called it a night for the food. My breakfast and lunch was fine.... nothing unhealthy. After my sugar melt down though... not so great.


So today is a new day.... and no more chocolate..... STARTING NOW. for one week i am staying far away from it with exception of if my meal replacement bar has chocolate on it... in that case its a bit different... its not REEEEAL chocolate :):hurray:


This morning.... i was doubled over in terrible cramping/stabbing pain in my belly... and i am not sure if it is from all the chocolate chex mix i had, or the greasey pizza.... but it was BAD..... it lasted about 20 minutes and i honestly couldnt sit up straight OR walk.... it sucked big time.
I took 4 tums and ate a few pretzals and that at least helped to the point were i could function. Its finally gone now..... no pain... but WHOA! totally sucked and i am not sure what caused it??
any thoughts on that?:conehead:

Ive also been super exhausted lately.... like falling asleep the last 3 nights on the couch before 9:00 the one night and last night at 7:00.... whats up with that????

I was falling asleep on the couch last night too so maybe it is just taking us a longer to get our bodies used to the time change. Not sure what you had for breakfast or lunch but if it didn't include any protein that could have been the reason too. I always feel weaker when I haven't had my meat! Maybe your body just needs a little break and rest. I get those pains in my stomach all the time where I can't even walk or talk and breathing hurts - they haven't been as bad lately but it always seemed to happen when I ate a lot of grease - sometimes they would just come when nothing different was going on and sometimes I would get them when getting busy - those ones worried my hunnie the most because I would have to totally stop and curl up in a ball and scream the pain was so bad. It always seemed like I was really backed up in my system too like couldn't go to the bathroom for 3 days and eating lots of crappy food - that would cause pain too.
Anyway just some of my experiences. Drink lots of water today and maybe take a day off from the gym or go easy until you feel 100% again. Your doing great so a day off is like a reward not a punishment. Hope you feel better and hope you get your chocolate cravings under control as planned. take care :waving:

As a massage therapist, I have a very strong believe that our bodies talk to us through pain and tension. Unexplained severe pain doesn't always have to mean that something is terrible wrong... but keep an eye on it b/c you never know. I would think it would have more to do with your blood sugars. If your letting them drop like that on a reg basis that can do some major stuff to your body. It could be that your body is trying to tell you to change your focus a little bit. If you push it too far on a reg basis, it's bound to push back!! Now that we're getting closer to x-mas, the really good manderan oranges are out. I keep a box in my van for me and girls just for that reason. There quick, easy and oh so good... and loaded with good sugars!

And Chocolate is not evil... if your eating the right stuff :reddevil: I buy the large blocks of 60% cocoa from Bernard Callibuet. I cut up a square into little pieces, put into a ziplock and into the fridge. Then with my afternoon tea (only if I've done a good workout or yoga session) I take out a couple of pieces and dip them into the tea, suck off the chocolate in layers. The 60% is so rich you can't eat a whole bunch and it's good for you :D

very good point!!!! i believe that as well. I NEVER EVER would have thought like that before... but now that i am getting more intune with my body... i find this very acurate!

With my diet ( as in what i eat) I am still trying to get a handle on what I need to do to keep my sugars at a good level. Hypoglcemia is a tough one.... i know my protein intake needs to be high and my starches cant be through the roof.... but then there are times i just get MAJOR sugar craves. A box in my car of healthy sugars is a really good idea... i really need to do SOMETHING like that.

Well, let see what is there to share….

Yesterday was great in regard to my food intake… until I got the sugar craving and ate 4 mini chocolate bars.

So I need to find a solution to that because I told myself I wouldn’t snack on chocolate everynight… yet it seems to draw me in and I cannot say no. id get rid of it… but my bf likes it and has no need to deny himself the chocolate… so any thoughts on good replacements that will be healthy but take care of my chocolate craving? Hehe. i did get a few ideas inhere so far that i will be trying!!! :)

Food yesterday
Breakfast
Coffee w/ sugar free cream and splenda
Jimmy Dean lite turkey bacon bowl- 240 calories, 19g protein
1 cup skim milk- 90 cal
Snack- extra darl pretzels- 110 cal

Lunch
Special K meal protein bar- 180 cal
Carnation instant breakfast in skim milk- 150 cal
Pretzels- 110 cal

Snack 2pm- hot green tea
Snack 3:30pm- Medium gala apple, part skim milk string cheese
Snack 4:00- There was left over vegetable medley and chicken from a room rental so I had about ¼ cup veggies, and maybe 2 oz of chicken.

Dinner
Lite wheat bread ( 75 cal for 2 slices), chicken breast lunch meat- 50 cal, slice of 2% american cheese- 50 cal
Can of greenbeans ( no salt added) w/ garlic powder and a little shaker parm cheese- 75 calories

Snack- 100 calorie choc chip muffin packet ( SERIOUSLY…. They give you two mini tiny muffins)

Bad snack- 4 mini chocolate bars ( 2 snickers, 1 musketeer, 1 twix)


Anyways….
Gym yesterday

Cybex machine. 45 minutes…. Ranging from 30 resistance and 6 incline to 55 resistance and 8 incline. Machine says I burned 645 calories… but really… who the heck knows! It was a good work out though… pushed myself.

Then it was leg day… so I did lunges, leg press, leg curls, leg extensions, calf raises. Also did the roman chair… or whatever that thing is called.

Weight is hanging in there at 125……… so that’s good… at least im maintaining.


Hockey game tonight!!!!!! CANNOT WAIIIIIT!!! :party: Going to go for a run today at lunch since I wont have time to get to the gym, so that will be fun, then I am going to make sure tomorrow I hit the gym hard in the morning!

ohhh boy. Pregnant would be not such good news. I am NOT ready to be a mom. I am too into doing MY THING right now.

I really think that it was a matter of I ate some pizza that night that had mushrooms on it... it was eiether bad mushrooms... or my body didnt like that grease! I was fine after a few pretzels and some tums!!! :) thank goodness!
I do need to increase my water intake. I get sick of peeing and "avoid" water sometimes... thats BAD BAD BAD lol.....

Then I jumped on the cybex machine for 30 minutes and I worked out at resistence 100 and incline 6…. The only reason I even TRIED that was because there were these elderly women next to me on that… and I thought well geez… if they can do it I surely should be trying It wasn’t bad at all… def worked my legs and butt pretty good that’s for sure!! After I finished up with that I worked my biceps, triceps and shoulders. I did abs as well. ( 6 inches, 20 leg lifts w/ 55cm ball, planks)

Food yesterday was pretty darn good… I feel as though I am getting back on the right track again. Here was my food intake for the day:
Breakfast
Jimmy Dean turkey bacon / eggwhites bowl- 240 calories, 19g protein
1 Cup skim milk- 90 calories
Med coffee w/ splenda and cream

Lunch
Left over chicken cacciatore ( chicken, sauce, whole wheat pasta)

Snack 3:00pm- 1.5 small pieces of banana nut bread, 1 cup skim milk

Dinner
Subway turkey, ham, and mozzarella salad- 160 calories
Light n fit yogurt- 80 calories

This morning I made an appointment to go to the doctor tomorrow to get a strange lump I found checked out. Its located on my lower abdomen, almost the pelvic area… like where your leg meets your body…….. there are roundish bumps on both sides… but the one on the left side is large and sticks out a little funny… and a bit sore if I press on it. It doesn’t hurt when I walk or run or anything though…. So its sort of an odd thing. Just makes me nervous though so better safe than sorry… rather get is checked out!!

anyways, lots to get done at work today! Have a great day everyone!!!:driving:

Those lumps sound like your lymph nodes. You can usually feel them if your looking for them and non-tender. If they're swollen and painful it's really good to get them checked out. Could be an infection. Keep us posted!!
