Hey Melissa... just wanted to say good luck today (you won't need it though) you're gonna kick some booty for sure!!!
I also wanted to ask... do you ever do interval training during workouts? This might help you push through those last few pounds. I was reading in a magazine... I think it was Shape... they had an article called something like "work out less, lose more weight" and it talked about how they did a study where they had a group of people doing intervals during their cardio workout (biking i think) and the other group maintaining throughout the entire work out... they found out that after 'X' amount of weeks that the group that was doing intervals lost 6 pounds while the group would maintained throughout their workout lost none.
Also... a trainer that I have worked with told me about how she got stuck at a certain weight for a while (she went from 192 to 122 pounds) so she started varying her calories a lot like one day she would have about 1,200 and the next 1,800 to keep the body guessing so it doesn't get used to what you are consuming.. that triggered her weight loss again.
Hope I could help a little bit... even if you don't lose the weight, you are at a great spot and have become so healthy which is the most important thing...
keep it up! Can't wait to see how you did today
