ME TOO!!! I am so glad ive started doing that! I cant really go EVERYMORNING, because i end up being BEAT after about two early mornings and then i need to switch and sleep the 2.5 extra hours the next day and go at night instead! :)

i am still mad about these pants i bout 3 weeks ago. anger anger.
hehe me too!!!! I just gave my sister 5 pairs of pants and a button down shirt that were all a bit big. The point though is..... OMG... only wore the shirt and two of the pairs of pants ONCE. Grrr... so she got some brand new clothes. With how she has been coming to the gym with me alot lately... soon they will be passed on to someone else too....:)

whoo whoo wednesday!

Hello Hello! ?

How is everyone. I missed you!!! Hehe. Well I have been around and about haha. Had a wonderful weekend as always and so far this week is going great. Wait… why the hell am I talking about last weekend… its Wednesday already hehe. So anyhow, Monday Morning and Last night were my two times at the gym so far this week. Last night I brought a friend and we did 30 minutes on the treadmill kicking some ass… and then lifted a good bit. Didn’t really go too terribly hard last night because this evening another friend and I are going to go on a 10 mile bike ride… and I may need to have all the energy I can get!!!

Dinner last night was AMAZING!!! ? below is the rescipe. It was WONDERFUL.

Nutty Fruit Salad
Romaine Leaf Lettuce
2 Macintosh Apple sliced and spread around the sides of the plates
1 Portabella mushroom grilled and then cut up and split between plates
2 Tablespoons Feta Cheese per plate
1 Tablespoon Bleu Cheese per plate
1 Tablespoon Crasins per plate
2 Tablespoons of unsalted Pecans per plate
1 beef chuck steak, grilled and cut up per plate
5 sprays of salad spritzer balsamic vingegaette dressing per plate

Anyway, I have been holding strong at 134 the last 3 days…. Glad about that… its official then in my opinion. When I hit 129…. I am going to CELEBRATE!!!!


Got a lot of comments today about how thin I am looking, my hard work it paying off, etc. Makes you feel like a winner… its nice. Have a little ways to go obviously… but I am psyched to get there… and then make more goals! ?
 
you only took a day off from the forums i think you're ok. yeah clothes falling off is bitter sweet. i love getting called skinny. i think its hilarious. I like how you can alternate between the days , you do what works for you, gives you a longer break and some explosive energy!! seems all is well with you so i won't i say i hope it is, but how is work going for you? things looking better over there?

mixed feelings today kids....

Hey there. I normally write in my diary in the AM… but I was having a bit of a rough morning… had a small meltdown at lunch time, and now I think ive got it out of my system… for now haha.

Last night rather than 10 miles I biked 7 miles with my friend. I wasn’t tired or sweaty or anything… weird. My legs were getting swore…. But no out of breath.. nothing. Did the 7 miles in an hour and about 15 minutes…. Not too bad.

Got up this morning and went to the gym. I did 2 miles on the treadmill and then I got on the cybex machine for 30 minutes. Crunches of course today and worked inner and outer thighs. Lost a pound so that is very exciting. I am now celebrating my 20th Pound Anniversary!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

However.
Today was measurements day… yesterday was too hectic for that haha. I was really annoyed because I gained inches in a lot of areas…. What in the world. Grrrr. I was really really bummed about that….. I don’t know why I would lose weight but gain inches…. :banghead::banghead::banghead:

Weird about the inches gained, perhaps it's muscles - better lay off the spinach Popeye :p

it could be the way you measured is different to last time.. or in a slightly different spot maybe?

so weird.. im totally opposite. my ass and legs get sculpted first, then my back, then lastly my stomach.... so yes, i am def doing your ab workouts on top of my own. my abs are super mad at me. also my booty has been nonstop sore for the past couple of weeks and thought id share booty exercises so we can have sore asses together :p :D

of course, squats and lunges... any type of squats and lunges, really. i like doing them with a barbell. dumbbells work too, but for some reason i think barbells stabilize me more.

standing good mornings are crrrrazy for the hammys and tush. no joke, i think thats why im soooo sore. i use a 45 pounder barbell for that and i never seem to recover... my fave.

anything in moderation is fine..... but i also try not to pig out on cheese.... and things high in fat. Bleu cheese at least isnt AWFUL..... feta is decent as well.
 
wow i love long weekends hehe.... today was a wonderful day. Woke up this morning and got some stuff done here around the house.... cleaned living room, kitchen, bathroom.... vaccum... dishes... laundry... fun fun. Then i ran out with bf to grab something quick for breakfast... and then i went and worked out for about 1.5 hours.

I am having a small amount of pain on the inner part of my calf. Its not a muscle pain from what i can tell... almost feels like I have a bruise on the bone...... near the shin and side of my leg... but no bruise. Its been there a few days... the feeling has..... cant seem to figure it out. Sound like shin splints??? i dunno never had them. Here is my food intake today... not great... but not a ton of junk eiether.
Breakfast
Everything bagel, small bit of cream cheese
iced coffee with splenda in place of sugar


Lunch
Chicken Pita, Coorslight

Dinner
Turkey burger on muligrain flat roll, bleu cheese crumbles and miracle whip
1/4 cup pasta salad. ( light italian dressing in place of zesty)


I did lose another pound so thats exciting. Did alot of walking around and what not through out the day.

IDK, I was getting some inner calf knee pangs that went all the way down the calf from running with a cheap pair of shoes, than I bought some really good ones, and the pain instantly stopped. Called Medial Knee Pain.

I don't know what you may have, but it could be...?

I was wondering if what you eat during the day fills you up or leaves you hungry? Just curious.
 
Hey thanks for the response! The pain does not go up to my kness... just stops about midway up my shin. My sneakers are fairly new... they are niki shocks... very comfy.... love em.


THere are days that I def need to eat more food and I will make sure that i do so accordingly. I do eat if I am hungry though. When i eat very little, it may just be a day of low activity... and if thats the case, im normally just fine with what i ate that day. Im normally full until my next meal. I never was a big snacker anyways.
 
LOOOOOVE long weekends :)

Just got back from a nice long hike.... Was out for about 2 hours hiking some trails at a nearby state park.... was a good time... lots of good exercise :) I was glad my friend wanted to do that... its nice to switch up the routine and challange your body like that sometimes! Broke a nice little sweat and now i am home relaxing checking in on my weightloss forum peeps :)

This morning i woke up and was NOT hungry... not sure why. But here is my food intake so far today:
( currently it is 3pm)

Beef Jerky
nut, rasin, trail mix
ham on mulitgrain flat roll sandwich w/ miracle whip
1/4 cup pasta salad
blueberry/pomegranate juice


It was really wierd on my hike with my buddy justin. I hadnt seen him in about 6 months, and he just kept saing he couldnt believe how different i look... and how its like my face is on a different persons body etc. I guess thats a compliment??? i dunno.


Had my first comment the other day about my weight that actually bothered me. Most of the times you love these comments... you eat them up and really... live for them. My boyfriends mom though was over for a few minutes last night and she says,
" Wow, Melissa is skinny. Dont you eat girl?".


Myabe that shouldnt bother me..... but it really did.

If it was that easy...... seriously....... I mean i have WORKED MY ASS OFF to lose the small amount of weight i have so far.... do not take that away from me with those dont you eat comments!!!!!! UGHHHHHHHHHHHHh:banghead:
Boyfriend of course says, oh you shouldnt be mad... it was a compliment, dont worry about it... but he wouldnt understand i guess... you guys would though i am sure.

You're right, that's a real shitty comment to make. It'd bother me too because it's so dismissive off everything you've worked your ass off to accomplish. She sounds jealous. hehe.
 
I know those can be VERY hurtful, but most ppl just DON'T know what they're talking about when it comes to making comment's like that about a person's weight.

Hello all. Last night i finished off my day with 2 yummy slices of mushroom pizza and a small serving of bear foot brownie ice cream for dessert. hehehehe


yeah... i was bad..... but i wanted a treat after a very good week... so i enjoyed every bite! I told myself i could eiether have some beer.... or icecream... NOT BOTH. so i went with my sweet tooth!:biggrinjester:

Today I am really looking forward to getting to the gym sometime this morning and getting a good work out in. Its been gorgeous outside the last few days though so its always hard to cram myself indoors to sweat hehe. I just work out better inside though... more discipline that way! Got my period today so of course even though i tell myself not to, ill weigh myself this morning and see all the water weight i have put on. Should be about 3-4 pounds... whoo whoo. haha.

Not sure what my deal is lately... but ive been suuuuuper chill for some reason.... not quite sure why though haha... like reaaaaaal mellow.

good thing i suppose... just not sure why!!!
