50 crunches ( feet flat on the floor)
25 crunches ( laying on left side back still flat)
25 crunches ( laying on right side back still flat)
50 crunches ( legs in air ankles crossed)
l10 Leg raises- alternate between ball between legs, then grab ball with hands and lower legs with no ball, feet together. Whole process counts as ONE REP.

funny, i do all of these as well - the same exact oblique exercises as you.. but the leg raises are new. i def have to incorporate those! I do jackknives and roman chair as well, but can really only do 10 of those at the max :(

( these super super work the lower abs which are hard to get otherwise!)

I also then get on an incline standing bench. I hold a 10 lb weight and you lean over the front of the bench ( sorry forget the name of these). I do 15 like that, 15 stand with my left him against the pad and do side bends, and then the other side, right hip against the pad, and do 15 also.

^^^ Those really work the "love handles" and allowed those to decrease pretty significantly!

those are hyperextensions, and i do those too, but they really work out my back a lot more than my abs. when you come up, do you come up past the straight point, and almost lean back? :confused:

cardio cardio cardio. Upping my cardio to an hour really helped my stomach fat to start to go away.

you do CRAZY amounts of cardio and im jealous. i for real cannot last on a treadmill longer than 40 minutes. i really cant, no matter how slow i go. i cant get past 2.5 miles... how do you run for 1 hour straight? teach me oh wise one :D

Hello Hello Hello!
Had a nice evening last night. Went to the gym right after work and had a good run. I was pooooouring sweat.... kind gross... but felt amazing! I just decided id run for 2miles straight and then cool down a bit. Then i got on the eliptical machine for 35minutes. So I did end up completing an hour of cardio when it was all said and done. Skipped the weights because yesterday was my light day for the week.
Ate decent yesterday in my opinion... here is my menu from yesterday

Breakfast-
Coffee w/ cream and splenda
Special K w/berries and skim milk

snack- decaf hot tea w/ half&half and 1 splenda

Lunch-
Ham on light wheat bread
peppridge farms goldfish (about 30)

Snack- Large Naval Orange

Dinner-
Large salad... it was AMAZINGGGGGGGGGGGGG
No dressing needed :)
contents of amazing salad: lettuce ( DERRR), peacans, crasins, bleu cheese crumbles, sliced apple, grilled portabella mushrooms

snack- 64 cal beer on the couch while watching the capitals get cruched by the penguins... GRRRRR BOOOOO:toetap05:


anyways... good evening over all... i was pleased with it hehe.


Tonights plan is to go to the gym and work it hard.... most likely will cut back the cardio and focus on weights and crunches tonight. Then tomorrow morning its back to high amounts of cardio and some crunches :)

I had an intense cardio session today as well. i was so sweaty in fact, that i put my shirt in the machine that rings out water of swimsuits! it was gross i tell you. the worst part is taking the shirt off. yuck. anyway, great job at the gym and keep it up. I don't need to tell you how great you are doing/ looking, as i can still hear howls from the guys who posted in this thread earlier!

Last night i went to the gym and worked my ASS OFF. it was incredible. Felt awesome. I did feel like I had pulled something in the back of my leg.... but after stretching good it felt better. I need to start doing that more!!!

I had to go get some dress pants yesteday. I cant bring myself to get new casual clothes etc.... but i had to get dress pants. I always go to new york & Co and get my work clothes.. I was wearing a size 8 in February... and yesterday... i bought a size 4!!!!!!!!

anyways, i was excited about that... but still discouraged over all.

Thanks hun... the jeans though.... still gotta get a size bigger bc my ass doesnt seem to fit in them as well!! Maybe because i refuse to move up from Juniors jeans....... i like american eagle too much :angelsad2:
 
:waving:Today was a great day. I had lots of plans for the day so I got started early! It all started at the mall... wanted to try on some jeans... mine all are too lose around the waist. Keep in mind i was wearing a size 9/11 jean when i started this weightloss journey and a size 8 dresspant/casual pants.

I purchased jeans today in a size 4 as well! I was very very excited about that!!!!!:coolgleamA:

I dont ever remember wearing a 4.....


Anyways, then i headed to the gym where i ran two miles, and then did alot of lifting. Circut training was my big thing today. When i got to the gym i found out that.....
I LOST A POUND!!!! I am up to 19 lbs lost and 14 to go!!!! :)
Following that i went to help my nanny out a bit at her house. We had a chicken burger sandwich and some bean salad ( all different types of beans, carrots, celery, onion, and light gazebo room dresssing.)


Tonight i ate kind of crappy. Had blue, red, and white tortilla chips with chili and hot peppers, cheese, and some sour cream. Also had a light beer and a few bites of ice cream.... figured i would have a little treat. That was my dinner and didnt have breakfast so i figured id use a few of those extra calories.
( ya i know not how its suppose to work... but i needed a treat after the good day!!!!! :) )


So, tomorrow morning its back to the gym and back to the strict diet hehe.... im excited though!!! :)

Two weeks ago I started trying on a few things, and they were not only fitting, they were freakin huge!! :willy_nilly: So I got a lil excited, and started trying on the things I hadn't worn for like 2-3 years, and they Fit!!! :willy_nilly: But now at my dismay (see again if it's not one thing, it's a bloody other & kind of sorry for griping some more, but now most of clothes are too big, and when I go into the store the Small's are even still too big, I do alot of consignment shopping, so I have been fitting sizes 2-6, and xxs, weirdness, :willy_nilly:

Ok that was my happy rant. Also trying to get around to more ppl's diaries because it's fun to see what everyone is up to. It takes me some time to get here, but I will be back! :seeya:

Bummer... weekend is OVER

Good morning everyone. Hope everybody had a great weekend! I had a very nice one. Friday night I went out to eat on the deck with some friends. It was GORGEOUS outside and we enjoyed just relaxing. Saturday I went to the gym in the AM, then went to a hockey game with my boy :) Then yesterday i just bummed around a good bit.... got some stuff done around the house, and took my pug for a nice long walk at the park. She was zonked after that. Took that day off from the gym since i went hard last week. She enjoyed it though... it was like bonding time hehe. She has been feeling left out lately because i got a new kitten and she is jealous hehe. poor baby... she is use to being the princess!

Here is my food intake yesterday.
Breakfast-
SAusage, Egg, Cheese wrap, two bites of hashbrowns

Lunch-
can of greenbeans, some shredded cheese

Dinner- 1 stuffed green pepper ( stuffed with turkey burger rather than hamburger, 1/4 cup of instant potatoes.

snack- medium slice of white cake made with strawberry jello, fat free cool whip instead of icing, and sliced strawberries.


Not too bad I would say.


This morning got up early and went to the gym. Did 30 minutes on the treadmill and went about 2.5 miles, and then got on the cybex for 30 minutes, burned about 260 calories.

Worked on legs especially today... trying to tighten those suckers up!! :)
Also did my ab workout. My sister was there with me today so we did throw downs which are GREAT for lower abdominal workouts!!! boy am i feeling that! :hurray:

Anyways, been dead in here lately... maybe my posts are getting boring hehe.

well im off to go visit some diaries! Later Gaters!
 
Hey M, sorry for not visiting sooner. Been pretty busy this last weekend. We got 5 inches of rain Friday and the creek on my property flooded out about 100 yds on either side. The spend the weekend mowing my yard and working at a 3d shoot. But your probably don't want to hear my story on your thread so I shut up now. he he.

hey homegirl, i was house sitting with no internet. i am back now all new and improved!! glad to see you are hitting things hard. oh as far as my eating bad, i wasn't being hard on myself, just acknowledging it. i really don't care if i have bad days, we are supposed to haha. its life. i am so glad i was able to convince you to try AM workouts and that you liked it! it is invigorating!!! so what is goin on with you, well besides everything you just told me! i am still mad about these pants i bout 3 weeks ago. anger anger.
